5/5 stars. This was an experience I will treasure forever. I’ve never rode a horse, but 5 minutes into the ride I felt very comfortable. The horses are well trained and know the route. This is something I will do every time in town. Amazing views !

Loved the experience! I recommend for family outings or for couples. Most accessible ranch in LA, the guides were great and friendly and the horses were super nice! Great view of the hollywood sign and the city

We had a super fun experience here. We can see the view of the Hollywood sign, and the whole city of LA, which is so cool. The horses are friendly and our guide is nice. She is knowledgeable.

Amazing people are running the ranch! My husband has special needs from having a stroke and they made it safe, effortless and so easy for us to have an extraordinary and healing experience for us! Bella is a lovely guide! Highly recommended!

OMG!! IF YOU HAVENT BEEN...THIS IS A TOTAL MUST!!! Staff is the best, horses are the best and view of the HOLLYWOOD sign is the best.

It was a beautiful experience overall .. only thing is that the evening tour is too dark to see anything . Do rides in the morning. Tour started a little late .. very good customer service overall just the times should be adjusted to enjoy fully the view of the hills.

Had such a great time on our Honeymoon hadnt ridin in many years and missed it but Sunset brought back good memories the Ranch hands were great, polite, and very knowledgable abojt horses and area .

I enjoyed the ride. My horse was Max..and he was awesome. The staff was outstanding. Instructions before the ride and during the ride..great. I will have to do it again.

This place was awesome! We booked the two hour ride since it's only 35$ more for a whole extra hour. Glad we did because there was a bunch of people in the one hour group. It was just myself, my mother and our Guide Carla. And of course our beautiful horses Leo, Scarlett and Tank. We seen the one hour people coming down when we were still going up. Glad we booked the longer ride. It was absolutely fabulous! We had a great time riding Leo and Scarlett! Carla was an awesome chill laid back guide. She took us on the narrow trail as she could tell we were comfortable with the horses and the ledge. Wish we were able to get better pictures, and maybe got a little closer to the Hollywood sign. But overall loved the experience! Will definitely come back and ride again!!

We had such a great time riding today. It was so much fun and our tour guide Belle was the Best!! She was wonderful. Actually all the girls here were great! Meghan was so helpful also!! We can't wait for our next ride! We loved Holly, Fiona, Buster, and Frosty too????????????????

I loved it. Amazing experience, nice horses, great staff and views.

Disappointing. We arrived early as indicated on the website. We signed in and then waited over an hour past our scheduled time. When we inquired about the timing, the receptionist simply said that we were waiting on a guide. Staff were not unfriendly but never acknowledged your existence as they walked by. Our tour guide was great, but she and the ranch make it very clear that the guides are volunteers and only get paid if you tip them. The ranch has signs posted suggesting that guides should be tipped $25 per person. The views are beautiful, but when we reached the top, the guide quickly turned the horses around and discouraged stopping for a quick picture. Also, a great view of the Hollywood sign on their website is a bit misleading. As you return to the ranch, you catch a quick glimpse of the distant sign, but nothing stunning. Lastly, website indicates that there is a dinner associated with the evening ride. Apparently, that experience stopped with Covid, but they still charge you the full evening price. My kids enjoyed the horses, but sadly the ranch seemed very unorganized and overpriced for the experience they actually provide.

Wouldn’t have wanted to horseback ride anywhere else. This place was super cute and the staff was all super nice. I was a bit nervous it was my first time horseback riding but I’m glad that I went through and actually did it. Me and my friends did the 1 hour tour, and I think it was more than enough time. 2 hours would’ve been too much in my opinion. The view was beautiful!

Sunset Ranch was a great experience! We chose the 1 hour ride. The staff are very friendly. There are so many beautiful horses at the ranch. They fit the best horse to your riding experience. The guide keeps you at a relaxed pace for the trip. He even took pictures of us on our cameras. The views were amazing. I definitely recommend this place and would go again if I come back to Los Angeles.

First time riding horses so we just did 1hr ride (plus it was hot, and we are from MN). Glad we did it! Even our teenage kids enjoyed it after grumbling about waking up early for 9am tour. The horses are beautiful and well maintained! Our guide was friendly and made it a great first time experience.. Thanks Misty!!

Anyone looking for a different perspective of the Hollywood hills, this is a wonderful opportunity to do just that. All the staff at Sunset Ranch was welcoming and pleasant. The horse ride was am amazing experience. Specially in the heart of Los Angeles. I definitely recommend this activity.

Amazing experience with some really awesome guides and horses! We did a 2 hour sunset ride, which was a bit longer than I expected to be, but it was so much fun. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional. We both enjoyed our time with Sunset Ranch and the crew!

We came from FL to do this little adventure, and I was disappointed. We waited for horses to catch up… we waited for horses to pee… we waited for 20min for a party to arrive that arrived extremely late. There were people walking faster UP HILL than we were riding the horses. No big deal - right? So, we arrive to the top… the most magnificent view of LA, and we were scolded for delaying and trying to get pictures! Then, we make it back to camp, and there is the HOLLYWOOD sign, and what do they do? Ride on by with no option to take pictures! So, I got scolded again for getting off my horse by myself (even though I signed a waiver form), and the best pictures I got were when we walked back up the hill on our own to get good pictures. So, I never needed to spend any money on that ride after all. At least the horses were nice!

Staff is very friendly and the horses are excellent great views all around
