Rancho Park Veterinary Clinic Los Angeles, California

Our senior dog has been a patient at Rancho Park Vet for almost 8 years and has always received wonderful, loving care there. The vets are excellent and compassionate, particularly Dr. Marks, who saved our dog's life with an emergency surgery in 2020 (and talked us through our options prior to the surgery with kindness and empathy). Even as Los Angeles has been experiencing a vet care crisis, the staff at RPVC can always find time to speak with me on the phone and squeeze our dog in for an appointment. This clinic cares so much for pets--and you can tell by how readily they go above and beyond for their patients.

Saturday last, we had spent the day at the beach near Santa Monica and were walking back to the car. Our little dog jumped from my arms and hit her head on the pavement. She evidently pinched a cranial nerve and began to stiffen. She remained in this state for a few minutes then relaxed. We panicked and tried to find a vet at 1130 pm. After calling several other numbers, we reached a live response. The receptionist guided us to the hospital where we were ushered inside from their parking garage. Our dog was seen immediately and we were able to safely bring her home a couple of hours later that next morning. Courteous and professional. We are very grateful for the rapid response and thorough treatment our little one received.

I am so happy I called them that morning when my cat was feeling bad and brought my baby for emergency there! We had to perform a surgery and they took such a good care of her! Thank you Dr. Mark and all the stuff there, I feel lucky to have gotten into your hands at that difficult moment. My Eva is recovering and feeling stronger every day. From my experience I felt their care about animals and didn’t feel ripped off, on the contrary I think they were really loyal with the pricing. I was expecting something “worse” considering the costs or veterinary medicine and surgeries. Thanks again. P.S. I originally got referred by a good acquaintance of mine who trusts her cats to this clinic.

Dr Marks has been a staple for those of us many animal owners in the community since 1986. He and his entire vetinary staff, techs, reception are absolute professionals.

Great place if you're rich. The records they sent to go back a one year, but I started with them prior to the pandemic. They don't seem to know my dog or care about my dog. He has horrible allergies and since the pandemic money's been tight. They're holding his meds hostage. Can't get the shot he desperately needs, until he has a "yearly check up." How urgent is a "yearly check up?" Everyone seems very polite when excepting your payments. I expect they show a lot more care and are more responsive to pets from rich families. They choose to let my dog suffer. I'm not rich, I must look elsewhere.

I've taken my Oliver here and I'm always happy with the service.

Unlike most VET offices post covid- they always answer the phone and always have time. Just got a new pup and they got me in in two days! Loved them.

Rancho Park Vet has saved my cat's life 3 times! Each time they figured out the exact treatment needed (which is amazing since the patient couldn't explain himself. :)) They are a highly competent, caring, exceptional practice that I recommend for excellent care of your pets. In addition the office staff and veterinarians are professional, warm and caring.

My kitten has ear infections, the doctor did not run any tests, prescribed medications that did not help, the problem has gotten worse and worse and now my cat's ears are now bleeding. Trust me - they do not care, and do not know what they are doing. I had a great veterinary clinic before and have experiences to compare to... All they care about is charging you. They charged two times more for ear cleaning than any other place I know. The front desk representative - Jessica recommended me not to clean cat's ears before using medication if my cat is not allowed me to do so.... Meanwhile, the instructions on the medication bottle say, not to use the medication if the ears are not clean as it can cause damage.. If you really care about your pet and do not want to over-vaccinate your pet- find a real professional through a referral and probably not in LA as obviously you are coming to this clinic - not to treat your pet, but to pay for their rent and overhead expenses..

They took my pet in and returned him without any comments, just a bill. I asked some questions, they said the vet would call me back for a follow up. Never got a call. They also failed to notice he had fleas...pretty unprofessional. Don't have a clue what I paid for.

The absolute best vets in LA & I've been to most local vets looking for the right one. Wanted only the best for my fur-babies! In the past two years, I've used Dr. Marks, Dr. Nic, & Dr. Knowles depending on their availability. All three vets are exceptionally knowledgeable & obviously real animal-lovers too. Their hospital is spotless, prices are very reasonable & all the employees are all so friendly. I really feel like we've won the Vet Lotto when we picked Rancho Park Vets!

Good doc good staff, parking, I mean for whaty I need in a vet this place fulfills those needs.

This vet is great! They are informative and upfront with costs. They are honest and give advise at the best interest of the pet, not their pockets.

We've been going here for well over a decade and have had aged cats, emergency room experiences for our dogs and always amazing care along the way. We've even used the boarding when we're in a pinch. I personally prefer a house/dog sitter but not always easy to find. Friendly, attentive service and an always clean office and environment. We wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else. We love Dr.Marks but all the physicians are great. My schedule is hectic so I am fine to see the attending doctor when I'm available and I've never felt that my pets could be in better hands.

Dr Lara Zekaria is great! She's done things to my cat that only the best, experienced vets would do.

I have lived in this area for about 25 years, and since he opened his veterinary clinic, Dr. Marks has maintained a glowing reputation for fine care and kindness. We are so thankful to the staff and doctors at the Rancho Park Vet Clinic for taking great care of our Autism Service Dogs! Our dogs recently got into something they shouldn't have eaten and the staff made room for an emergency appointment minutes after. The puppies are doing super! Thank you!!
