I brought my dog in for an emergency that luckily turned out to be minor. The staff was so kind and efficient, even though they were busy. I came to them after hearing good things from a friend. Very happy with their service.

I can’t believe how kind they were here during an emergency. Can’t recommend enough.

One of the best experiences for one of the worst days of my life. My cat had been acting off and not eating, so I called MASH to ask for their availability. They told me they were at capacity but gave me a time to call back for availability. The receptionist was kind of short with me but it wasn't that horrible considering it was 4 am in the morning. I called back when they said they would potentially have some availability and they started my cat's chart while I was on the phone. When my cat was seen, Dr. Fording was amazing and provided plenty of information as well as options for treatment. The tech was more than happy to break down the costs that were presented so I could make the best decision for my cat. It was expensive, don't get me wrong, but it's also a specialty hospital so that's to be expected. In the end, I unfortunately had to make the decision to put my cat to sleep. The process was the most ideal for this scenario. They let you sit with your cat as long as you need, and not once did I feel rushed. Their grief counselor, Rebecca, was fantastic. She explained everything so clearly and helped set expectations for what was about to happen. She was also more than happy to stay during the process if I had wished (I ended up wanting to do it privately but I was appreciative that she offered). After, they let me take my time as well and, again, I never felt pressured to move along. Overall, a very amazing experience for my needs. This will definitely be where I head if I ever need emergency vet care.

IHATE THIS PLACE!! Brought my dog a few months ago and they refused to give him pain meds before i added it to the charges and paid the entire bill. No empathy. They let him suffer just so they can process my payment.

Worst! Reception doesn't know how to communicate with customers and need to go through a proper training. Instead of listening to my questions they communicate like robots and do not care at all! Do not go to this place! I asked two simple questions and the lady skipped the answers and didn't hear me at all! The phone call took place on 11/25 DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Beware any business that demonstrates blatant disregard for and hostility to customers who communicate about negative experiences, but take the time to respond to every positive review. This conduct Speaks volumes about this business owner’s values (or lack thereof). Most businesses with sound business practices do the work and commit the requisite time and attention to addressing client concerns. No business is perfect, after all. Those who do not demonstrate concern for reviews about subpar and negligent practices typically suffer from poor business practices and unhealthy corporate culture. The really sad thing is that many of the vets at MASH are very talented. However, the clerical staff casts a dark cloud over any positive experiences. Not sure if the staff is poorly paid, are simply horrible people, and/or if the hiring manager just sucks at their job, but a notable percentage of clients (read the reviews) have voiced very serious concerns about this business. Additionally, their colleagues at other vet offices also recognize that the exemplary vet staff is undermined by the consistently unprofessional and deeply problematic support clerical staff. I have spoken personally to five vet offices who held similar assessments about MASH. One of the vets I spoke to even confessed she personally took it upon herself to speak directly to one of the MASH vets about what a disservice the poorly trained and ill-equipped support staff were to the business and the vet’s personal reputations. $16,000 in fees paid over 10 days was troublesome enough, but having to endure the animus and vitriol of incompetent, uncaring, indifferent, and inhumane pencil pushers who will never possess any real power or authority other than which they derive from bullying caregivers was a bridge too far. With pleasure our family took our business elsewhere. Also have to agree with the assessments about this business’ singleminded focus and priority on money and profits over compassionate care. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard-earned money with a business that truly values your patronage.

We have been here twice, once they saved my baby's life and were extremely helpful by explaining the problem with her health and the procedure. Not to mention how the doctor called me personally to update us on her status after the surgery. The second time, almost two years later, the service and comprehension they showed toward my family and I, honestly surpassed my expectations. We brought our baby in for what we thought would be an emergency procedure and it turned out the best thing for her after 15 years and many tests, was to put an end to her pain. I couldn't imagine going through this process anywhere else.

Did not help me at all with my 2 kittens in need of help and wanted to charge me $800 for each kitten. Very unpleased, rude, and unexpectedly still in need for help with my kitties. I also need to get them their first shots. If anybody could recommend anywhere that does it for free or low cost income help, that would be an awesome amount of help! ???????? Thanks????????????

I've debated about writing this review. Ultimately, after having a better experience elsewhere, I can see what was missing at MASH. Let me premise this with the statement that I understand that all vets are over run right now. We couldn't get our girl anywhere else. However, the experience at MASH was stressful on top of an already upsetting situation. We brought our cat in for a cold after she had lost a significant amount of weight. Communication was poor, we were rushed to make a decision about something potentially financially crippling in order to save our VERY loved cat. Emotionally we're invested, but we were given no other options, which we now know we have. She was not given any medication for the cold, no hydration, no nutrients, and no follow up was done afterwards. In a true emergency, if this is your option to save your furry loved one, absolutely go with the understanding that it will be $$$$. If you have ANY other option, take it.

Unnecessary testing, over priced. $50-300 somewhere else is $2000 here. And thanks for having a staff party with alcohol and guests while we were being treated

Fellow Pet Parents! When my lovely kitty Fig was literally dying in front of my eyes I called MASH they helped me through her heart failure and I brought her to MASH the night she passed 10.6.20. Tonight (10.31.21) My 11 year old MiniShnau (living with stage four heart disease) had a seizure, recovered and I brought him to MASH. Again they were kind, professional, and because of them, I was able to bring my L.J.home to live as he may until his time comes. Grateful MASH is always open, and in the neighborhood. I hope none of you ever need to visit an animal special hospital but it you do MASH is here for you, be well!

I came over to Mash tonight when I discovered my 18lb terrier ingested something he definitely shouldn’t have. They were so responsive, he was seen right away, and took care of everything. Not only that, but as I was waiting in the parking lot (can’t enter due to covid) I struck up a conversation with one of the team members who worked there as he was arriving for his shift. He asked what my pet’s name was and made a point of going inside, checking on him, and coming back out to share a status update. Each and every staff I spoke to, from the intake nurse to the vet over the phone, were so exceedingly polite and caring. I honestly cannot say enough great things!!!

My cat, 4yrs old neutered male, stopped eatting for two maybe three days. I was so scared for him. They were the only pet hospital that would see him and they saw him quickly. It did take a couple of hours to get everything done, but what can you expect from an ER vet. Don't come for routine shots, that is not what an animal hospital is for.

My chihuahua Pomeranian was suffering from congestive heart failure. I took her in at 10pm last night, and they reacted with care and urgency. They walked me through an extensive treatment plan to hospitalize her and the costs associated but also answered my questions about her quality of life moving forward and the risks involved. They supported me through the hardest decision of my life - to say goodbye to my best friend, to end her suffering in my arms. Nobody wants this outcome, but they made it as painless and humane as possible. I’m in awe of the staffs’ compassion, professionalism, and capabilities to handle situations like this. I will always remember and be grateful for what this team does. Thank you.

Manners. Get some. Or choose a job not dealing with people. This place has a politeness problem. And there is no excuse.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE. 6 hours of waiting in the car that's what you should expect, first and foremost. They treated my dog for corneal ulcers (a condition that can cause blindness if not monitored and treated carefully) and the doctor made it clear that I need to go to a vet for a follow up after 7 days or if it doesn't get better. Even before I got my dog back, while on the phone with the doctor, I informed her that my vet is booked for the next 3 weeks and they cannot get me in. Doctor Fording said "if they can't get you in then bring her back to MASH for a follow up with me". I called MASH a few days later to check on the doctor's schedule, and after some attitude and dodgy behavior they confirmed she will be there on Sunday early AM. I woke up on Sunday at 6am and called to verify that Dr Fording will be there. An EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist with a british accent answered the phone with so much attitude, I couldn't even get a whole sentence out without her continuously interrupting me. She kept trying to tell me there are no appointments when I already knew that I was coming in as emergency. After she finally confirmed, I started getting ready then noticed a missed call. To my surprise, it was the doctor's assistant TELLING ME NOT TO BRING MY DOG FOR A FOLLOW UP EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE NOWHERE TO GO!!! THE DOCTOR CHANGED HER MIND. What kind of place operated like that????? she had no explanation to offer me!!! I was left with no care for my pet!!! They offered to get her in with an ophthalmologist 8 days later. My dog was already wearing a cone for an entire week! You can't trust their word, and they certainly lack compassion. I will never return here. I wish I had read the reviews more carefully. We have no idea if we're supposed to stop the cone, stop the antibiotics, they left us with no direction. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

This veterinarian office has allowed one of their staff members (Raquel Thompson) to steal a dog from a local rescue and has taken no action to discipline or fire her. Unprofessional

MASH vet tech Rachel Thompson of Corona stole a rescue's dog that was being treated at MASH. The rescue paid thousands of dollars in treatment to MASH and Rachel Thompson refuses to give the dog back to the rescue. Rachel Thompson is a psycho and MASH needs to step in and make things right. Give Cookie back! And fire Rachel. She should not be working with animals.
