Had a knee surgery done here for my dog and was more than pleased with the service, my dog is running again for the first time in 2 years

Dr. David saw my parrot and after being hospitalized for a couple of days he is alive and well!

Best In AV and LA. I used to live out here and moved to LA, I tried to find a good vet but was not able to. Realized I am more than happy to drive here when I need care for my pets.

Staff is lovely.I took my long haired Chihuahua on 1/ 13/ 2022 because his little face on his left side was all swollen up and I called on Wednesday and got my appointment for Thursday they were ready for us when we arrived. We saw a wonderful woman doctor unfortunately I forget her name ????. She checked him out and prescribed some antibiotics shots and prescribed some antibiotic medication and he is great now. Wonderful place and staff is awesome and wonderful ????.

Took my friend's Cat Meli to have her nails trimmed. As soon as I walked in the door I was being helped. Staff very friendly,they signed me in sat down. Not more than 5 minutes had passed and there calling Meli Friendly staff, Fast service ???? ..

Long story short they quoted me $2,204 for hospitalization due to a test coming back as positive which was pancreatitis and after hours and hours of trying to figure out what to do financially and understanding that I didn’t have any funds to go along with the payment they kept pressing me to pay and telling me that my dog was going to die and didn’t want to release him, they just kept him without doing anything else to ease his pain instead to pay for the hospitalization then they would help him. Once I got him back they offered another option a at home treatment I was surprised because they said hospitalization was the only way for him to get better and it was going to cost me $259. Later that day I went for a second opinion in Lancaster right away a major difference in customer service and most importantly he came out negative for what he had been tested positive for how could they make such a mistake I was so upset but relieved as they gave him medication and he completely recovered, imagine if I would’ve agreed to the hospitalization my dog probably wouldn’t even be here by giving him medication and injections for something he didn’t even have in the first place.

Dr. David and his staff worked their hardest to save my dog Iris' life when she had parvo. She made a full recovery thanks to their hard work and compassion and she's been the happiest girl ever since. A million thanks and I will forever recommend AMC to anyone with a pet.
