They say it's low income but the prices are too high! And weren't able to care for my my 2 dogs, the waiting room was empty & they said I needed to make an appointment, unbelievable!! Won't be going there at all...my own expiriance ....

They took good care of my baby. He died on Thursday. We took him in that morning and they arranged a private cremation for him. They let us mourn him for as long we wanted. They let us burn 2 of his toys. It was a nice experience even though we were heart broken.

They turned my cat away in an emergency, when we were under a time limit to induce vomiting, and avoid surgery. They said all the vets were busy. It couldn't have been more than a simple order to a vet assistant to give an emetic. Ended up having to drive across town, losing the ability to avoid surgery.

I used to love this vet, but recently they have become overbooked and the quality has severely declined. The office staff is very rude and unorganized. The last time I was there I waited 4 times as long as they said to be seen (with an appointment) and had to lead the staff to do their job, for example after returning my dog to me they were surprised they couldn't find my dog, was i there to check in? what did my dog look like? maybe he was still in the back? I found this very discomforting that they don't know which pets are in their possession or where any of them are. They returned him without his collar and it took over 30 min after getting my dog and already talking with the vet to check out so I could leave. Dr.Ramirez saw my dog multiple times but instead of admitting that he didn't have the knowledge or time to actually attend to my dog just prescribed multiple rounds on antibiotics. Finally, the issue progressed to such a bad state that i went to a specialist. If I had been told earlier I would have been saved a lot of money and my dog a lot of pain. I get the feeling they are only nice to their new customers and they after you have been there a few times they think they have your business looked in and can treat you how ever they want. I had been going here for the past 3 years but will be on the search for a new vet.

I cannot say enough good things about this Vet. They do their very best to give great care, are reasonably priced, have great systems in place to do regular things like refill medications, and care very much about animals. Everyone from the top down and the ground up are fantastic.

They communicate very well and they go into detail about your pets needs and treatment.

Treated with the utmost respect. My baby girl was shown so much love, that was a plus for me. For your fur baby medical needs, this is your spot.

Small little place no parking is always full so you have to look for street parking , other than that the care inside with the vet and nurses was good

Don’t bother trying to make an appointment. I tried for a week and left various voicemails for call backs, but received none. When I finally was able to talk to someone they hung up. I kept calling back, but they specifically put my number on direct voicemail. Going there to make an appointment is not a possibility for me. I was persistent because they already have my cat’s information but I will take my money somewhere else.

Sevastian’s mom (cat) Thanks to Dr Ramirez for his generosity and attention to my Boy, it was our second visit, the staff is quite patient and we highly recommend it.

It's a good thing I didn't take my dog here for amputation or they would have amputated the wrong leg! I left messages for call back, no response.

An average veterinary. This was my first time and It took an hour and 15mins for my pet wellness check up. My dog consultation was finished in 45mins and I had to wait 15mins to receive a call from their "billing" person. After paying for the bill, I waited another 15mins to get my dog. (this may have took longer if i wasn't persistent on asking.) I believe this was due to the process they currently have for covid. - You check in your dog on a spread sheet outside. - They will call your dog in for consultation. - You wait for a phone call from the doctor. - Wait for a call from their Payment/Billing Person. - Someone will come out with a receipt and collect payment. - Wait for them to bring your pet. Overall, I didn't feel a personal connection with this place and will be looking elsewhere.

I want thank Dr. Ramirez and his staff for always taking good care of my girl(Gorda). Like always they did an amazing job. They are professional, polite and caring. This is not my first time here... and it's definitely not my last. I highly recommend Los Angeles Veterinary Center.

Nothing but good things to say about LAVC. Having moved to LA for work, finding a vet was one of those things that I assumed would be a touch and go process for a while. Thankfully, it worked out great on the first try. Dr. Robbins has been wonderful when it comes to taking care of my girl, Peanut. The staff is always friendly and if there is any negatives right now it's due to the Covid situation. But in light of not being able to have one-on-one visits currently, Dr. Robbins has made the time to go over exams and diagnostics on the phone, giving me all of the information I need. Thank you, Dr. Robbins and staff!

I am a very attentive and concerned pet owner and i care for my pets as well I would my children. That includes when they are sick. So when I take my pets to the vet I would like to be properly be counseled on recovery care and what to expect during that process and the vet techs seem to be very uninformed in that area are very vague in there responses I would like to see that addressed
