Hillcrest Pet Hospital is the best. They really care about your pet and spend quality time answering your questions. We never ever feel rushed. It's a very friendly office. We're really happy to have found them.

I've been going here for years along with my dad and his pets. This is a wonderful Pet Hospital. Dr Fries is the best! He knows his stuff and your pets are in good hands. I won't go anywhere else! Excellent rating.

The dr and staff are wonderful. This place is not corporate and doesn’t push so many tests like other places. Prices are reasonable compared to others in our area.

A little on the more expensive side but it is very clear that they love animals. I have taken my dogs here a few times after some unfortunate accidents and every time they have squeezed me in at latest a few hours later if not right away when every other clinic (even my normal one) did not do so. Will be going here from now on for all my dogs' medical needs!

WOW. Where do I start? The white haired receptionist in front didn't even greet me as I came in. I stood around for a bit until another worker, a girl, dark hair, much younger than the other lady, popped in and was very sweet and took good care of me. Thank you whoever you are. You were the highlight of the visit. The Vet himself was either having a really bad day or just needs to retire. It was like pulling teeth to get him to do a thorough exam or to answer any questions. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Wish I didn't have to pay them. They didn't deserve a cent. Rule of thumb - read reviews. Turns out, there are tons of bad ones out there about Hillcrest. Wish I read them before going there. It would have saved me time, aggravation, money and most importantly, I could have gone to a real vet, one with much more professionalism, compassion and integrity. Oh and I forgot to mention how dank and depressing it was in there. Do yourself a favor and avoid Hillcrest!

We've been extremely happy with the services we have been receiving here with our small dog Kona! Last time we were traveling out of state and we needed her immunization records. The staff faxed it over to our hotel in 10 minutes! Finally we have found a vet that we like! They do not overcharge, they do not do unnecessary tests ..... etc!

10 days ago I ran into Hillcrest with a bleeding dog, completely hysterical. Dr. Fries had my dog in his arms before I could blink and his staff was handing me water and helping me calm down. Not only was my animal treated well during a trauma, but so was I. My dog was taken into emergency surgery. I am so grateful and impressed. Even the clients that came in and had to wait because of our emergency were compassionate and supportive. You can't find a better vet. And no, the emergency surgery didn't break my bank account. The price was reasonable which makes me even more grateful.

Dr. Fries appeared to be a very nice caring vet. and would usually answer the phone regardless if he was going to make money or not. My cat was very sick in heart failure and needed a specialist but Dr. Fries would help me as much as he could with this sweet cat that I love so much. My other 2 cats were generally healthy and I thought since Dr. Fries was such a nice guy I would have him as their doctor. I noticed my well cat Snoopy was very constipated again Oct. 2017, I called Hillcrest about getting Snoopy an enema and was told that Dr. Fries is on vacation Dr. An is the only doctor there and he is booked up. Got a call back from Hillcrest stating that Dr. An will come back early from lunch to give Snoopy a Enema. I went in with Snoopy Dr. An yanked him out of the carrier by his neck, hurting Snoopy and frightening him, I told him not to handle Snoopy like that, he said that is what the mother does. I told him he is not the mother nor is Snoopy a baby, he was 16 yrs. old. How I wish I would have picked Snoopy up and taken him to ASG. Dr. An appeared very angry. I left Snoopy, and got a call from Hillcrest within the hour to come pick him up, that Dr. An said he needed to be put under for an enema, that he gave him a small enema but not much. I told Dr. An that Snoopy was a very sweet cat and the only reason Snoopy was scared because he handled him so abruptly making him tense. Snoopy was in tremendous pain, he pooped a small amount but bleeding from the anus and blood on his tail. I took Snoopy to emergency they gave him a plain water enema with seemed to cut down on his pain, hillcrest used Saline enema (salt). Snoopy had a ruptured colon caused by Hillcrest Dr. An. Snoopy became septic his anus swelled and he died within 10 days. This was a otherwise healthy cat no other problems other than constipation. It was An's last day at hillcrest, when I told him again about Snoopys being such a dosile sweet cat I could tell he was angry he told me he never wanted to treat one of my cats again. Like don't do us any favors. I have taken many cats for enemas most not as sweet as Snoopy, never has anything like this ever happened. When I tried to talk with Dr. Fries about Snoopy's condition he wanted me to bring him in for more enema's without even evaluating what was gong on with Snoopy, I called back told them I was taking him to emergency, he died in a few days he was septic and a damaged colon. Other problems that concerned me about hillcrest, it is not very well equiped. I took my cat Smoke Joseph there for fluids and they filled him so full of fluids that his leg swelled and he coughed for 24 hrs. very dangerous can cause heart failure. Another visit on a Saturday, I took my cat Smoke Joseph, Theresa is helping me out to the car because I purchased so much food etc. Theresa all of a sudden, says oh, I have to get back in there, she sets my cat while inside of his soft carrier down in parking lot behind the back wheel of a pickup truck and runs back inside, there is more but no need to go on.

Dr. Fries is a really knowledgeable and caring vet. He makes time whenever my dog is sick. He doesn't send you to someone else unlike many other vets.
