Little Tokyo Pet Clinic Los Angeles, California

I did worry a bit after reading few one-star reviews but glad I decided to try it out. I recently adopted a puppy and was looking for a vet nearby. The hospital is located under an apartment, which had easy access and also provide validation for parking. Dr.Chung was amazing. She took more than 30 minutes to provide me with basic information and what I should watch out while growing my first puppy. I do see people complaining about the "pricing" but I don't think it is ridiculous at all. It could be a bit more expensive than other places but I think it is reasonable considering the efficiency. I would definitely recommend this place to who are looking for a new vet.

I took my dog Sicily in to get a check up for skin condition, during her first visit she was experiencing anxiety so she was given a take home calming medication to prepare her for her next visit for skin scrape testing I was told to administer medication an hour before visit not two or three hours, after her second (12/20/2021) visit Sicily returned home with a busted eye vessel ( bloody eye ) and restraint marks around her neck popped blood vessel is due to extreme force or trauma to the face, I was not notified about this I had to discover on my own, ( I have on text doctor confirming they knew her vessel had been popped while there) now that I have contacted Dr. C and the clinic ( Manager Nick ) the response is that they are sorry with a very rude and condescending tone but will not confirm the series of events that took place while my dog was in their care, Nick the manager confirmed that a complaint was valid but he would not provide the report I asked for in regards to investigating his staff about what took place while Sicily was in their care. I would not recommend bringing your pet they did test on her that are not relevant it was just about the money instead of calling me to pick up my anxious dog they used excessive force injured her further and ran these test which ironically came back NEGATIVE and I will be moving forward with this matter legally.( I will update with pictures of her neck when I return home )

You can see your own doctor, shop at a grocery store, go on an airplane but you can’t have an in person visit with your vet. I understand when this “pandemic” occurred but at this point waiting outside is a bit silly ????

Great vet clinic. Dr Park is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything. Erica at reception desk is amazing. They made time to see our new boy cat and our old boy cat at the same time. Found our forever vet❤️

My partner and I lived in Little Tokyo for a year and during that time Dr. Chung and the staff have been so sincerely helpful that it we feel sad that we are moving out of Southern California. Cabbage (1yr M) showed signs of urinary blockage, and I called in the Little Tokyo Pet Clinic one morning and even though they did not have any appointments available Dr.Chung made time between appointments to make sure that our fur baby makes it through. During the 2 days of hospitalization, they allowed us to visit Cabbage everyday after work hours AND sent us morning updates about his well being. Our other cat child Beans had some stomach problems through out the year as well and again LTPC has been exceptionally accommodating and kind. Would 100% recommend LTPC to any pet parent(s)!

All staff members are kind and professional. Dr. Chung is knowledgeable, kind and explains things thoroughly. Definitely the best vet in LA!

Good service, but too expensive for my pocket. Almost two thousand dollars for a spay.

We took home our Bailey after adopting him and he developed a cold/sniffles after 4 days. To be safe since he's only a 10-week old puppy, we called around at different pet clinics and urgent care for him to get checked, but appointments were fully booked or involved several hours wait. Little Toyko Pet Clinic had an appointment slot available the same day we called and we were able to bring him in to get checked and treated for our peace of mind. We appreciate how reliable and responsive they are to texts, making communication so much easier, too! Thank you for seeing and treating our Bailey!!!

I just moved and needed a new vet. There are rattlesnakes near where I live. They had the vaccine available. They were professional, thorough and knowledgeable.

The people are really pleasant to deal with. They seem to enjoy what they do and are very helpful in keeping me supplied with SweetPea's prescription diet.

Not recommended at all!! Pet clinic that will do everything they can to try to "up-sale" you Updating my review after the owner replied- To write that you guys are stunned from my past experience after I called to complain and explained my concerns almost a month ago is kind of funny, After that, you started talking about giving two different treatment options. Let me remind you that the cat that came to your clinic wasn't sick or showing any symptoms at all and only came for a routine vaccine. And last regarding to leukemia test that even in your reply you admitted that we weren't interested in preforming ( we got it in a different clinic and even if we wouldn't have THIS IS MY CAT! MY DECISION! MY MONEY!) So basically you're writing that even though you were aware that we insisted on not having that test you decided to take my little cat to the back room draw some blood from him and charges almost $160. This is not professional at all. For almost a month. I've been waiting with this review to see if a manager will contact me and try to apologize or refund me my money after this respond. I know that Monday morning first thing. I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau.

I love this clinic! They have been such great partners with me for both my dog and cat. This includes special trips in on days they are normally closed, last minute appointments, and even advice and research when I needed help they couldn't provide. It's by far the most reasonably priced place I've been to in LA, and I rarely wait more the a few minutes for appointments. Dr. Chung is great at explaining exactly what is going on and there are never surprise fees. Highly recommend!

Doctor Chung is an amazing animal lover, very kind human being and extremely knowledgeable and sweet. I used to take my 2 dogs, Max and Marley to another Vets Hospital but, I’m so thankful I found Dr. Chung and all her staff Lauren, Erica, Maria, Emily and the rest of the Technicians are awesome, sweet and understanding, they are always willing to help you and allowed me to continue communicating over text about any question and worries about my 2 pets. Dr. Chung performed a Neuter Surgery on my 3 year old dog Max on March 11th, also a Cryptorchidism Surgery, Dental Cleaning and Dental Extraction, my sweet baby had issues that I didn’t even knew he had until Dr. Chung and the others Veterinarians clarified to me. On the big day Dr. Chung also flushed and cleaned my baby’s ear because he had a severe ear infection. Without Dr. Chung and the rest of the staff my baby Max could lost his hearing. I really appreciate all the wonderful things and care they did for my family. The Clinic is very clean and I highly recommend this Clinic for your Pets. Thank you so much for everything to all of you!!!

doctors are very nice and very friendly. comfortable with appointments and questions. however a lot customer likes there so kinda busy! I can trust them! I recommend Little Tokyo Pet Clinic!

BEWARE!!! They will overcharge you and over prescribe your dog! They charged me over 5 times what another vet charged me to help fix my dog. They prescribed my dog with medicine for something he did not have. Get a second opinion from another vet and I will guarantee you that it will be cheaper. I will never return here again, you have been warned!!

The staff at Little Tokyo are amazing

Doctor Chung is very thorough and provides quality care. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgable. During covid-19 times, they are especially cautious and make the whole process easy for both pet and their owners. I completely trust Doctor Chung and her team with my dogs.

Friendly and honest, they don’t try to upsell you on procedures or tests. Reasonable on prices and they offer payment plans.
