LA Central Animal Hospital Los Angeles, California

I recently adopted a pitbull 7 years from the shelter. I was advised to take him to a vet, he limps from his left leg. A week later I take him to this hospital, for a consultation. I'm told that he need x-rays, hes suffering from excruciating pain, needed to be sedated for the procedure. Prior to the visit, my dog hadn't given me any signs of pain.The bill was too grand for me, I hesitated. The vet over the phone tries to make me feel guilty, and has the audacity to say I should just give him up for adoption, since I'm not willing to care for him. Excuse me!!just because I can't pay up doesn't mean I don't care for my dog's health. Very unprofessional from the staff. I'll find an alternative, instead of leaving him at the shelter.

They took care of my dog and we're able to answer any and all questions I had. Super helpful and the doc is a nice guy

Sweet vet very helpful gives us information with his decision and gives options which is something I am grateful for given their are times I need these options due to cost ,staff are sweet with the animals and work with availability price is reasonable ????

There's no parking here or at least very difficult to find. The way the street is set up is so hard to get around. The staff was not helpful at all I wouldnt take my bby here again..

This is such a great place to bring our dogs.

This vet office is practicing safety covid protocols, you call ahead for an appointment, check in is call in when you are parked. Staff will come and speak with you and collect your pet. Diagnose over the phone with detailed cost and breakdown. They will answer all your questions. Staff is courteous and thoughtful. Dr. Is knowledgeable and caring.

They fostered my fur baby (in 2006). He was well cared for for 2 months while he was there, before I got him. And he's been a Dream all these years! Would have made them our regular vet, but I live too far away.

Wouldn’t suggest going here. They let their own views and ideologies/beliefs get in the way of business and how they care for your pet. Disgusting

The doctor, nurses, and staff are wonderful! I've been taking my pets here for the past 5 years. Can't imagine taking them anywhere else.

They have come through for me several times when I needed an emergency visit for my pet and can't get in anywhere. Always answer the phone and are responsive. Doctor is very nice and genuinely seems to care.

Very unfriendly receptionist..we showed up a day before the appointment...due to her tone of voice and attitude..we didn't go back....I work for Metro Transit (Passenger Relations) where customer service is key..I don't recommend this place at all due to poor service..

Very nice staff here. They heard my pet's issues and made me an appointment right away. It took less than an hour for the entire visit.

This place is a racket, avoid it at all costs. Did not help me at all.

700 dollars for an emergency visit and wanted to charge me more for more tests. Went to the vet near Figueroa and they would of charged me less and I didn't need am extra tests for my dog......

Very good clinic for pets

I love this place! Super professional and still very friendly and welcoming. Like everything it had been affected by the pandemic, so you have to park and they come and get your pet from you, as you are not allowed inside. The guy running from the cars to the clinic was amazing.

Wow!!! They are a private hospital and will charge you an arm and a leg. Search around before you take your Pet here.

I have never had such an unprofessional experience in my life. I called for an appointment as my dog has luxating patellas in her back legs. The vet called back and asked to speak with me for more context (completely understandable) but he was so rude. Multiple vets have said she will require surgery, and I understand the need to evaluate her yourself, but he continually told me that he didn't want to perform if not needed - which is great, but I was coming in for a consult pre-surgery at the recommendation of 4 vets. He asked me to take a video of her which I was happy to do, but then kept saying things like "you think you know more than me" / "this is the issue with owners" and refusing to let me talk. I was coming in for the opinion of a vet - I understand that this is your area of expertise. Cheap, but absolutely not worth it based off of that interaction alone.

I m a new client, been there only two times. Very satisfied with the service and prices.

I arrived with my puppy half coherent and was sent away. I was told they do not take walk ins in the morning because the vet is only schedules surgeries. I was given another address to drive to if I still would like to get my puppy checked out. I drove back home and luckily my neighbor who is a vet tech helped me with pet. I won't be coming back ever or recommend this place to anyone who truly cares about their babies.

Dr. Bandele, Vet personally called to check up on my pet and gave recommendation for future care. ❤.

They were very friendly they were so good at communicating step by step and they took care of my Pepe and Chloe really good I recommend this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
