Got a 3K eye surgery for my cat which did ZERO to fix her constant eye infections. Total waste of time and money.

My review is very overdue but I would love to see this office with 5 stars! I have been bringing my dog to see Dr. Park since October 2019. My dog suffered urgent Posterior Lens luxation, (eye issues). Dr. Park was able to see my furry baby right away, I was so thankful his vet recommended her because she has been great at treating him. I fear he was going to lose one of his eye when I first brought him, I was terrified for him. Dr. Park examined him and recommended medications and supplements to keep him stabled. My dog is a senior 14yr and putting him thru surgery is my absolute last choice if absolute necessary. Luckily he is safe to keep his eyes and on medication for the rest of his life. He has been doing so good and staying healthy with no issues. I continue to bring him in annually for his check ups to ensure everything is okay and healthy. I strongly recommend Dr. Park for any eye specialists. She is so caring of dogs, that my dog feels comfortable coming in where he already knows the facility and people. It's too funny. He walks in like nothing. I strongly agree with Dr. Park's beliefs of healthy integrative ways of healthy meals for dogs. Example the Chi Dog Food Therapy chart, as soon as I transitioned my dog into these meals he's whole health transformed. I get compliments that he looks like a baby or young pup when he's 14yrs old. Any vet bill is expensive, if you foresee your dog having medical issues in the long run get that pet insurance. Do expect to spend over $250 per examination and procedures. Depending what your pet needs. This does not include medications. Also, the staff is really nice and professional and always help accommodate any requests for his medication.

I had a great experience at integrative ophthalmology. I see a integrative doctor myself, and was referred by my vet to take my 9 month old shih-tzu who was having eye problems,. The front/back office, Joe and Melissa were professional and prompt. Dr. Park herself was very kind and professional. She knew and addressed what the problem was immediately, and sent me home with all the prescriptions/recommendations needed for my puppy. I would highly recommend!

Dr park. Please contact me. We are at the hospital with Wicklow. His lens has become completely detached after your surgery. He needs emergency treatment. We are at VCA west but they do not have an ophthalmologist on call. I’ve called you emailed you and have t heard back.

If I could leave a negative star I would!! I booked my dogs appointment with them after my regular vet had recommended this office. They could not see my dog for a month even though he was about to loose his eye sight. I took off a whole days of work to make this appointment!! I even paid a deposit to keep my appointment!! They emailed me the night before saying that the appointment was cancelled because they didn’t get my application for on time, which I did fill out on time and had sent it to them! I spoke to the receptionist (Cynthia) that had not a single carrying bone in her body about my dogs situation!! I asked to speak with the doctor regarding this and they refused to connect with her or even give me her email address so that I may communicate with her!! They are extremely unprofessional!! I would never refer anyone to this office!! Oh, not to mention that I am a doctor as well!!

Great doctor, location, and people. The appointments actually start on time so there is no waiting and one of the best pet eye doctors in LA by far! My dog had a double cherry eye surgery that Dr. Park did such a wonderful job fixing my little guy. A+++ Highly Recommend!!!!

My standard poodle, Jones, has been a patient of Dr. Park at Integrative Ophthalmology for Pets for the past two years. He has received excellent care from Dr. Park and best of all, his sight is being preserved. Jones loves to visit Dr. Park. I fully recommend Integrative Ophthalmology for Pets to anyone seeking top quality eye care for their pet. Dr. Park is caring, knowledgeable and very professional.

Dr Parks and her team have been extremely thorough and caring with our old dog and his eye issues, which our general vet could not diagnose. She has remarkable expertise and the technology to go with it. Both she and her assistant are super kind and gentle with our dog, and he is steadily improving. He is still undergoing treatment and I totally attribute his recovery to IOP. We are grateful for this practice with its deep knowledge and holistic approach.

We live in Orange County and were lucky enough to find IOP...saving us from sewing shut the eyes of our gorgeous Siberian cat...because of glaucoma...when we could not find the same services nearer home. Then, to our delight, we received excellent surgical services, caring support staff, and follow-up reports like nothing we have seen nor expected from 60 years of owning pets

OMG. How do you explain greatness, knowledge and thoroughness? Dr. Park and her practice are uber professional, dedicated and knowledgeagle beyond any vet experience I had in 40 yrs. She was realistic, gave me some hope for my cat who got blinded by high blood pressure. And she practices chinese herbs and uses supplements. She is the one. You can probably find cheaper but they will not be as good. I accomplished so much in the one visit. She is jammed booked for a reason.

I found Integrative Ophthalmology on Yelp as I needed to take my bull terrier Lotti for a professional eye examination. I called in and made an appointment over the phone and online, it was very simple. When we showed up for the appointment it was easy parking and the office was really nice and pleasant. The young lady at reception was really nice and welcoming, she made us feel very comfortable. Another young lady then took us to the examination room where she done a general check on Lotti, she was really sweet with Lotti and again made us all feel very comfortable. Finally the doctor came in and gave a very thorough and deep examination of her eyes. Her bedside manner was exceptional and so sweet with Lotti. She explained everything in detail and we left there feeling 100% taken care of. I would feel comfortable recommending this place to anyone.

I wish all veterinarians were more like Dr. Nancy Park. The first thing you notice upon meeting Dr. Park is her sagacity...she is professional, wise, knowledgable and confident which instills a feeling of trust that is so important when dealing with your special companion. Besides these qualities, she is also very caring, loving, and patient with my dog, which means the world to me. My sweet little dog, Daisy, is going blind and I'm more than grateful to have Dr. Park in our corner, holding our hands and guiding us through this difficult process. Can't recommend her more highly!l

Dr. Park & her staff are kind, communicative and knowledgable. My dog gets excited to see them, even though it's for (sometimes uncomfortable) eye procedures. That's the power of their care!

Caring, personalized veterinary ophthalmology service. Comforting and transparent that examinations, many tests and some minor procedures are done right in the spacious exam room. Streamlined check-out process with thorough discharge paperwork to go home. Great follow-up communication. Relative to other veterinary ophthalmology specialists, it seems the fee schedule is somewhat lower, which is also very kind. I have been a veterinary technician for 20 years and I have moderate experience with Eastern veterinary medicine, but I was totally unaware of its application in ophthalmology cases. Very interesting and Patrick responded quite well to treatment. Thank you, Dr. Park. Highly recommended.

My darling little rescue came with an inoperable cataract and a smattering of cataract in the other eye. After her visit with the eye surgeon, I asked around for an eye doctor for her and was referred to Dr. Park by a dog owner I respect. It's an annoying drive from Studio City to Mid-Wilshire but Dr. Park is worth every minute of aggravation. She is kind, thorough, talented, obviously loves our little pets and has humor. I am exacting about having quality medical providers and Dr. Park is exactly perfect for me and my beloved dog.

Bluto is an aging dog that had an eye exam at Integrative Ophthalmology. The Doctor was very through with her explanation and delivered a treatment plan best for his needs. He had a good experience and has followed her direction. I was very happy to have this service in our neighborhood.

I had an emergency and they responded quickly and compassionately. They gave me some simple remedies I could do to make my dog more comfortable until I could get to their office. The doctor and everyone who worked there were kind and understanding when delivering harsh news.

Our 8yr old Boston Terrier, Sprocket, was diagnosed with juvenile cataracts when he was 2, and we were told they'd only get worse with age, and they have. He recently began to bump everything which just caused him to not want to play fetch (which use to be his favorite activity besides eating) or even to go outside to do his business for fear of getting trapped in the bushes. Poor baby, it was heartbreaking to see him lose his ability to get around, especially when he's so incredibly independent, and he doesn't like accepting any help at all. Sprocket typically dislikes seeing a doctor, but Dr. Parks’s office is not like any vet we've been to, it felt more like a spa than a doctors office. After a very thorough exam, which Dr. Parks performed calmly and gently as to minimize any fear or anxiety, she took time to explain everything going on with Sprocket's eyes and went over what our options were. I really like that she takes a more natural approach and is knowledgeable on holistic treatments using Eastern therapies along with the western. We’ve been to many vets over the years and they’ve all been big on pushing for surgery whenever possible, but not Dr. Parks. As a matter of fact she explained that in Sprocket’s case there would be possible risks involved with having the cataract surgery. Instead she recommended some eyedrops and a supplement that would reduce the inflammation behind his eyes which in turn would improve his vision and prolong losing his sight. She also offered recommendations on types of food that would be best for him according to his traits/personality. We never felt like she was trying to sell us on anything, unlike with some past vets, she wasn’t pushy, and we didn’t feel pressured in any way to buy anything. We decided to give the supplement and drops a try and see if he has any improvement. It’s been a week since he started the eye drops and supplement and we absolutely can see it’s helping, Sprocket is no longer bumping into stuff as often and he hasn’t been afraid to go downstairs or outside, like he had been before. Dr. Parks is truly wonderful!!

Dr. Park is an excellent Opthamologist. When your pet has an eye issue it’s critical to get them care as soon as possible and Dr. Park is caring and knowledgeable and she has been there for my older French Bulldog and his multitude of eye issues over the last two years. Dr. Park was the one to cure my dogs eye ulcer he had for months and it seemed nothing was working and he was going to need surgery. She prescribed some drops and supplements and within two weeks the ulcer was gone. Her knowledge of western and eastern medicine is extensive. You’re in good hands if you get in to see Dr. Park. We are very grateful for her and her staff.

I really love going to vet practices that are owned by the Vet themselves, but to see a specialist in L.A. in a small practice like this is very rare. Everything about IOP is professional and carefully thought out. Unlike big firms, no balls are dropped. You go in to the very clean and modern office and are immediately greeted by one of the most knowledgable managers I've talked to. The Dr. is very efficient and personable. Even though there was not much to do to improve my dog's sight, the Dr. gave me an assessment and a program to try to preserve the sight he has for as long as possible and to hopefully stave off more serious conditions with drops and supplements. The doctor also sent me a detailed report without me having to ask with 24 hours!!! That shows how devoted this doctor is to being professional and caring about the pets that come in...as it is often information that helps pet owners care for their beloved pets well.
