The team was great! Bean is nervous around strangers, but they made sure he was well taken care of. I loved how patient they were with our pup. Thanks for everything!

Overall the regular hours care is exceptional. Have a puppy package with them and it’s great. The web site states that they also have emergency services, but that’s actually not true. Was waiting for their regular hours to bring my pet for the emergency, but they said they are not operating as an emergency anymore. Web site has incorrect information and I was waiting to get the treatment from them overnight, but it was a surprise when they said they can’t help me.

I called to make an appointment for my sick puppy. The person who answered the phone was rushed and unintelligible. Said that they don’t take appointments. I said I could bring my dog in right away then. They then said they only take appointments! Didn’t offer any available times and said I should take my puppy to urgent care. If this is how they treat new ‘patients’ on the phone one can only imagine what their surgery is like. How places like this stay in business is baffling. My dog is sick and they simply didn’t care.

You guys were amazing, quick service, kind employees, and even recommended a coffee place for me to get some food while I waited for my kitties. I was a little nervous due to the Yelp reviews but I'm so grateful I listened to my gut and brought them to you. Seriously thank you so much and I look forward to my next visit. P.S. before my kitties were even patients of the vet they offered me help, and support via the phone and email when I panicked over a nonissue with one of my babies. They were understanding and helpful and never made me feel bad for my concerns, even when I was clearly overreacting.

I've been coming to Culver Palms with my 2 pugs for years now including their past location on Sepulveda. The vets are always fantastic and I give them 100%- they were very kind when we had to euthanize our old pug. The STAFF- UNBELIEVABLY BAD. Consistently when I visited I would have to wait in my car anywhere from 20-45 minutes to be seen. I understand that things get busy so I never thought of it as a deal breaker, I display flexibility and understanding. However, the last time I visited their new location I arrived at my appointment 12 minutes late. This is LA, we have traffic- sorry boo. When I got to the front door it was locked so I knocked as my pug was in my arms. The staff (all 7 of you standing around) saw me and kept signaling to me that I should "call." I'm not going to call you when I'm standing in front of your building and I'm knocking on your door. You all treated me with disrespect as if I was a homeless person. Eventually the vet came to the door and we had a discussion that I couldn't reschedule for another day if I'm 12 minutes late. They still turned me away. Have some flexibility with your customers that have spent a lot of money at your business over the last few years. As far as I'm concerned, your staff is awful and I hope your business closes. I will take my business elsewhere. It looks like you have many 1 STAR reviews for similar reasons. Bye Felicia.

Good vet, never had a problem with care but the Covid protocols they still have in place are a huge hassle - so much so it’s almost worth it to go elsewhere. I was told I could drop my dog early so that I could be back to work on time and instead ended up waiting outside for nearly 45 minutes, super disrespectful of my time. Other than that though, the staff is friendly and they do good work I just hope they would go back to business as usual.

Professional staff, congenial vet. Questions answered and curiosity satisfied. Protocols are very stringent- give you pet to staff member, wait in the car, pay over the phone. (I assume these are still Covid protocols?) The only part that made me a tiny bit uncomfortable was giving my credit card details over the phone. Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal options would be so much more appreciated, please! But, even so- a great experience. Happy that Culver Palms Animal Hospital is part of my pet's life.

We only visited a few times to handle requirements for international pet travel and then finally a teeth cleaning. They offer a no anasthetic service which was about $1000 less than we have previously paid and our dog's teeth look great

I can’t recommend this hospital enough. The office manager Justin knows every animal and remembers every animal. Tony The owner is warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. Every Veterinarian on staff is very thorough and takes such good care of the animals. In the past with other veterinarians I have Been nervous but I never am here because I know they are getting the best care. The front office staff is very helpful and always willing to accommodate. I can’t imagine taking my dogs anywhere else.

I had repeatedly not had the greatest experience with my current vet. Today in particular my vet gave me no insight into the medication that was being provided or had time to answer any of my questions. I called this place to share my dogs symptoms and the medication that was provided to me. They reassured me it was the correct medication and gave more information on what to expect or what to do if other symptoms arise. Super caring! Thank you. Note: Never been here and likely changing my vet to this location.

The price is good and they are very friendly. Unfortunately the wait times on the day of the appointment are quite bad. If you have an appointment expect to wait 20 - 60 minutes once you arrived for them to call you and then another 20 minutes to take your pet inside. Plan on spending 90 minutes minimum there for a basic no problems check up.

Great service however very expensive. Aside from that one of the Best veterinarian Dr. I have ever dealt with is Dr. Ram......he truly cares about your pet and has a lot of compassion.

I brought my 2 chihuahuas Sam 12 yrs & Lucy 10 yrs in for dental surgery. I was not expecting that both needed multiple extractions. Justin worked with me on the price and my dogs are now happy and healthy. Dr. Bergstrom took really good care of my dogs. All the staff are very professional, kind and really good with animals. Thank you Culver Palms!

I have been going here for over ten years and the staff takes amazing care of my dog. One of the best veterinarian staffs (reception, grooming, technicians and doctors) in the area.

I didn’t have a great experience here. The vets and technicians seem caring and competent, and called me personally to discuss details of my pet’s treatment. However, after researching and consulting other vets, it seemed like many of the tests they recommended were not necessary, and I was overcharged for every procedure and test compared to my experience with other vets. I’d rather pay more for good care, so this wouldn’t bother me as much, if the intra-office communication was better. It really seems like nobody communicates anything between front desk/technicians/vets in this office. Every time I spoke to a different vet or technician, I was given different information and instructions, and they couldn’t seem to find any notes on any of the calls/instructions/changes the various vets or technicians had given me. They switched my cat’s medicated diet twice due to miscommunication and misunderstanding of his medical records (which they had access to and I asked about repeatedly). When I asked to speak to a vet about his food, I did not receive any call back, and when I asked again on my next call, there were no notes about any of my questions or any issues regarding his food. The whole experience just felt like a big bumbled mess and I came away $1600 in the hole, feeling very confused and unsure of how to proceed, and staring down another $500 minimum of tests that the office didn’t have any notes or information about when I called to schedule as directed. I took my cat back to our old vet in a different part of town, and was told that several of the tests they recommended here at CPAH and told me I had to do in-office (when I could have done some easily at home) were unnecessary (though they did do a spot check of his blood glucose and did not charge me as it’s such a simple test). I had a much smoother, easily communicated experience and a MUCH lower bill. All my questions were answered immediately and the vet and technicians were knowledgeable about my pet’s history and able to quickly look up records dating back four years (something the technicians here struggled to do with even the records of our two weeks of experience with them, despite having access to his full medical history). I saw a completely new team at my old vet’s office. They had never seen my pet, and were still able to give me more information in 30 mins than I got at CPAH in two weeks with multiple visits. I think the technicians and vets at CPAH care and are good practitioners, but after repeated experiences with overcharging and miscommunication, I won’t be coming back.

Honestly there's no real follow through with what services are being provided for your pet. As an example, I took in my dog because she has mucus and traces of blood in her stole. I made the appointment and was asked to bring a stool sample which I also did. I get there, they take my dog in and 40 mins later I get a call asking to be charged for the services and meds. No one contacted me before to explain the medication, what they think is wrong with her, etc. THEN the technician patches me through to the Vet who says the meds are for diarrhea (that she did not have at the time) and parasites that they suspect my dog to have and will be confirmed after the fecal test. The next day I get a call that the fecal test came back negative.... and that was it. So now I have medication for something my dog doesn't have and no one answered my question. So I call to get answers and the clerk on the phone says, oh yeah it's just for diarrhea. So I say, she doesn't have diarrhea so can I return the meds? He says he will ask and the phone disconnects. He had my profile up and knew who I was so I expected him to call back but he doesn't. So I call again and he says all of the techs and vets are out to lunch and someone will call me at 2 pm. Of course no one calls me so I call back around 3:30 pm and it's the same person telling me that someone will call me the next day. Then I get a call from Justin explaining to me why the meds that were given to me were given to me and the recommended course of action. But it took a span of DAYS to get an explanation and I honestly don't feel like it was a sufficient explanation, not because of him but mostly because I still don't have a real answer, and I was just processed through to get me out of the office. I don't know, I have had similar issues at this office where I don't get the proper care to really understand what is wrong with my dog and I have to constantly follow up and ask questions to get to the root of things and I shouldn't have to do that.
