This place used to be fantastic but now you can never get ahold of them, can’t seem to walk in either, the front desk staff are generally unfriendly and impersonal. The good news is the doctors still make this clinic worthy and the genuine care for the wellbeing of your pet is strong.

We love Overland vet, we’ve been taking our dogs here for over 11 years. The doctors are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We highly recommend them to any pet lover.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I am happy to have my dog come here. She loves the vet, and we always get treated with courtesy and care. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Highly recommend.

Had to wait more than 4 weeks to get lab results. I have yet to speak with the doctor about the results or further treatment for my dog.

Greeting was friendly and professional. Appointment was on time. Dr Schwartz spent time and showed genuine interest in us and out dog. We were advised to vaccinate our dog for canine flu which we appreciated.

Seamless! Even though all vets are slammed because of all of the pets adopted during the Pandemic, Overland manages this with such finesse! LOVE Dr. Kim B!

Hands down the epitome of beyond professional. I needed to renew my dogs yearly shots and I got their 15 min before they closed. When I walked in I was greeted with such respect and asked them if they have time to give to give my dog her shots. She checked with the doctor and right away took her in and got her all up to date and I even had a chance to have a 1-1 with the doctor. They gave her a free examination and I could be happier. Such an amazing place which showed me they care. Thanks and look forward to a fantastic relationship.

I've been bringing my cat, Sugar, to Overland Veterinary Clinic for 13 years. All the doctors have been great. I had an especially good experience with Dr. Bhuta on her first day at the clinic this week. She was both very warm and professional, and was able to immediately calm my cat down for her exam and vaccinations. This is a very special clinic.

LOVE OVERLAND VET CLINIC. The best vets and staff. They take such very good care of our beloved fur family.

So sad what has happened to this clinic. Both my daughter and I have been brining our dogs here for years. On August 25, 2021 I called. My dog had an oozing eye (she is a 6 year old shi tzu). They said they would not see her without an appointment. Referred me to Animal Medical Center of Southern California. I waited for 6 hours there but they at least treated my dog. The receptionist at Overland said 2 of their vets have left, Dr. Schwartz was on vacation, 1 of the doctors was in surgery all day and the other was coming in at noon. It is sad to see the downfall of what was a really good practice.

This place charged me over $800 to have my kitten spayed. No discussion of price prior to surgery despite charging more than twice the average for the procedure. Bottom line, it’s a cash grab. Be sure to get written quotes in advance.

We are so grateful for Dr. Swartz and the Overland Veterinary Clinic. They have made it easy to bring in our kitties during these crazy times, and Dr. Swartz has encyclopedic knowledge right at his finger tips. Best of all our cats are completely comfortable with the entire staff. Why settle for less.

They're awesome, and the fact that I can text them now makes it so easy to make appointments and ask questions. Also I feel like I end up spending less money with them then other places. Can't recommend enough.

Standard checkup + vaccine boosters took 3 hours from appointment starting time. Had some associated paperwork that I needed for travel, but after the pet is done with their operation, why do I have to wait for their staff that doesn't know how to fill out the paperwork to figure that out while my cats wait in the back room. It is ridiculous, I should have my cats back within 1 hour and then they can ask me to pick up the paperwork later. I would highly recommend finding another establishment that not only values their profits but also your time.

Great experience at Overland Veterinary Clinic! The staff were all friendly, pleasant, helpful, and professional. And Dr. Schwartz was wonderful! I switched to Overland Vet because I was not satisfied with the quality of service or responsiveness at my previous vet. I took my two cats to see Dr. Schwartz and after years of other vets trying to sell me on pricey procedures, tests, and foods, Dr. Schwartz was totally straight forward and honest about what my cats do and don't need. He was thorough with his exams while also thoroughly explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations to me. Such a breath of fresh air! I am definitely sticking with Overland Veterinary Clinic.

Overland Veterinary consistently provides great care for my dog, Iggy. They keep track of all his medical records and email when he is due for a vaccination so I do not have to. It is very easy to book appointments online, and reception is very responsive with updates or any questions you may have. My most recent experience with Dr. Forsythe, however, was even more exceptional. Iggy breaks out into hives hours after some shots, which has required late emergency room visits in the past. I expressed this concern to Dr. Forsythe and he made me feel so comfortable, emailing me the treatment plan prior to the examination and calling me to talk me through the pre-treatment he was giving Iggy prior to the shot to try and prevent the reaction. He also said they were happy to keep Iggy for hours afterward at no extra charge to keep an eye on him and treat a reaction immediately should it occur which really put me at ease. And the best part, no reaction this time, so his pre-treatment plan was very effective! I will certainly be requesting Dr. Forsythe for future visits, but really all the doctors are great.

I was thrilled to find someone who would actually see my dog in his condition given this is not our regular vet, who was booked until mid August and wouldn't even offer to fit him in. My dog was extremely ill and everywhere else was totally booked, Overland takes drop offs and it really was a godsend! They were very nice, very thorough in their examination, seemed genuinely concerned about my pet, treated him there and sent us home with a continued treatment plan. I am extremely grateful to Overland Animal Clinic and it's nice to know I have a place to go when I am truly in need!! Thanks OAC

I love the doctors and staff, they really do an incredible job. The big "but" is around scheduling, ordering, and basically everything related to admin. They will text us about other patients, text my partner when I checked in, and the waits are horrible. It's impossible to get through on the phone. Today while they were very much open, my partner kept getting a message saying they were closed. You couldn't design a more frustrating experience if you tried. Frankly they are just too busy and their technology or management systems are worse than useless.

They care more about $ than about the dogs. They refused to renew my dogs flea meds, (he's taken them his whole life and was prescribed by this clinic) because they recently "require" yearly check ups. When I asked how this check up would affect anything with his prescription they could not answer. They just want the extra cash, which in my opinion, is a horrible, short sighted business decision. I'd have spent more than likely thousands here over the span of my dogs life, now I'll find a new clinic, over $40? Like I said, they care about $, not pets. DO NOT GO HERE.

Been going here for over 20 years now. There are many things I like but mostly it’s the professionalism. They got even more efficient during COVID.

Our dog had been seeing Dr. Flanagan, who we loved. We were worried when she left to move out of state. However, we just had a great visit with Dr. Schwartz. Our dog had what felt like a growth on his back. Dr. Schwartz did not feel it on our visit, and very patiently explained all the possibilities of what might have happened. Then to my great surprise, he did not charge us for the visit even though it was a very busy day at the clinic. Don't expect to get out with no charge, but do expert expert, compassionate care at a fair price.

Been going there for years. Everyone has a wealth of knowledge about what's best for your pets. Also a friendly and professional environment. Love OVC.

Eternally thankful to doctor Verayo for taking care of my Emmy. She's still hanging with me. Also to the staff at the front. attentive and nice all around. Both Emma ( who sadly left me back in 2019) and Emmy have been patients since I moved to CA from NY back in 2017 and I wouldn't take them any where else.

I am a retired, non-practising English veterinarian. My 13 year old cat has been Dr. Schwartz's patient for 12 years. I found every aspect of this clinic has been spotless in terms of their professional, administrative reliability and caring practices. Only once, in an emergency situation, I had to take my cat to another, countrywide recognized, practice. Fortunately I "rescued" my cat in time when I learned that the "Internal Medicine Dr." who was unsuccessfully treating my cat was working on a "suspended" licence. Never again! I was lucky in having found this clinic.
