I called to book an appointment and I was ready to do so. But the receptionist working there was super rude from the beginning! I chose to continue speaking to her to create and appt but she was extremely rude and had no communication skills. Someone needs to Fire her. I work in customer service and that would never slide in my job. I called today! So whoever she is. I hope you read this and work on your attitude problems.

‘’Dr’’ April Woods Didn’t bother to know price of any services, couldn’t answer what nutritional diet a dog needs, when asked directly...I am afraid to continue asking. I paid 122usd for incompetence. Your company never had permission to give out my # to petco to waste my time. Dr, you really need to learn nutritional skills your edema screams when you stand next to a fit physician/special master. Whoever hired you should be spanked.

It's a great hospital the only thing is you have to be there in line since 6 in the morning to wait in line since they only see 50 animals n no app great prices n great service very professional

I moved to LA in November 2020 and started going to this vet hospital because it is 2 minutes from my house. At first, I thought they were okay because they didn't seem to upsell and the rates were affordable. Over time, however, after numerous visits -- I have to say this hospital is the pits. They are near impossible to get a hold of; every time I call, there are allegedly 2-3 calls ahead of me and sometimes I end up waiting for 15 minutes! No email address. Even with an appointment, I always end up waiting at least 45 minutes in the parking lot with my dog while he is visibly uncomfortable (because he knows he's going to the vet). I have continued to frequent them, nevertheless, because the care is good and like I said, super close to my home. However, my most recent interactions with this hospital have changed my mind. Because this hospital is so hard to get a hold of, I've been refilling my dog's preventative medications (heartworm, flea & tick) with my old vet -- but my pass with them has expired. I asked Ave 26 for a refill of a basic heartworm preventative and I have been requesting this for more than a month. Why it's so hard to get a basic preventative is beyond me; it's like they want him to get heartworm! First, they told me they needed "proof" he's been on a heartworm preventative. I provided them proof of my former vet's refill approval as of 2 months ago. They said this was not enough (2 weeks later). Then, the week before he's due to take his next heartworm pill, they told me my dog has to get a heartworm test and that the results should be ready in 2-3 days. Five days pass and finally someone returns my calls to say he's heartworm negative -- because DUH he's been on a heartworm preventative his whole life, as my old vet never pulled these crazy shenanigans. They then told me they'd get the meds ready and when I did not hear back, I call them and was told they have never received a request for heartworm medication?I Infuriating. Now my dog is due for his heartworm medication and as of now, has none to take.

So I was told before that I just need to call the day I want to come in, but today when I called them for my dogs last round of shots/vaccines they said I had to call the day before. So now I have to wait till next week since Saturday is the only time I’m free.

The staff and doctors care about my pets as though my pets are theirs. When I call they take care of us right away or as quickly as possible. I appreciate that very much. Thank you

They take your pet in without you, but it's for safety. I trust them with our cat. He is a senior and is in good hands.

It was my first time bringing my dog to this shelter. I got there about 30 minutes before it opened to get a parking spot because its a very small parking lot. They were understanding that my dog was aggressive so they gave me a muzzle to put on him & they took him inside to give him the shots then brought him back out to my car. I loved Gladys because she was kind and understanding. Definitely coming back!

I've been bringing my 3 dogs here for the past 4 years or so for their yearly vaccinations. I even brought in a sick kitten my family rescued and nursed back to health. This vet has been very helpful and very nice with each visit. When I had an emergency with one of my dogs, they were calm so eased my panic. The surrounding location is somewhat sketchy. But the vet has its own little parking lot as well. Vaccines can be somewhat pricey but they have clinic days where there are discounts on vaccines. On those days they are super busy because they are walk-ins only. Other than that, they have been great towards me, my family, and my pups.

Receptionist are unprofessional. I spent more time on hold then speaking to the staff. Poor communication, very unorganized, and poor service.

We’ve been coming here for a few months now and this is by far the best clinic in town! We have a beagle and it’s foxtail season... these guys saved her twice in the last month and charged a lot less than what we were quoted by other clinics. I feel like these folks really care about my dog instead of just the money.

This place is amazing and staff is very helpful. Javier answered all our questions and helped with Betty all the way. They are very upfront about their pricing so you won’t face unexpected charges. Will definitely come back for a regular procedure

I took my dogs and cats to Svenue 26Small Animal Hodpitsl for many years . They have always done an exceptional job , and I highly recommend them

At 2:35pm i parked my car near thr back door of the hospital because there was no parking spaces open. I was waiting about make a call to the hospiral to announce that I was here in the parking lot. When i noticed there a black buick and a man with a security outfit coming out of his car and stood there staring at me. So i asked him " excuse me" and he told me that I can't park where i was and that I have to move my car from there. So i just explained to him that their was no parking so i was waiting here. He told me that I have to move my car so that he could park him car there. I understood what he said and just explained again that there was no parking and i needed to announce that i was here so that why i was parked my car there. I was disappointed with how he responed me back with "umm whatever". I didnt expect to be disrespected with that kind of attitude. Is seemed as if he didnt care to hear my explanation. After that incident one the ladies from the front desk approached my car and told me that I had an attitude with there security guard. I explained to her that i never had a issue with him hat i was just simply explaining to him why i was there and she then she told unnecessary information about him how long hes been working at the hospital and that he's also never had a complaint about him. She didn't let me explain and kept talking over me. I told her that my daughter witnessed all this and that what happed was not okay. She then responded back to me with" well she's your daughter not mine so of course your going to agree". For her to make an accusation like that was uncalled for. For two year ive been coming to this hospital and never had this kind of experience. I would have liked this matter to have been taken care of properly and not have been accused and approached rudely like I was today.

Don't leave pets with them. The staff takes pictures with your pets and post them on there Facebook for fun and games. The vet is not nice doesn't welcome you or tell you hello. They are too expensive...

Small and sometimes understaffed but usually no line to wait in. Could be better but they will fix your pet up just fine.

So far I have been EXTREMELY happy with this place. I was a long time fan of another vet, but when the original vet passed away, the place went down hill. I love the way Ave 26 answers the phone with, "is this an emergency" so if you have an emergency you are not put on hold while your pet may be dying. The staff is courteous and the Vet is also. Grooming is wonderful and even let me know when my dog had an ear infection. Very happy customer.

Waited approx. 40 with an appointment. Thats worse than the Dmv. Luckily I have A.C. in my car because that would have been dangerous for my pet being kept in a crate.
