Very good experience. I was nervous because the previous vet i had been to ignored requests and questions and pretty much didn't bother to talk to me. They acted like they were too busy. The vet here sat down and talked to me. Answered my questions. And helped me feel good about the care I was getting for my dog, and helped me to know I was on the right track with his care. The staff was friendly and communicated well, even though they were clearly busier than the first vet I went to.

Dr Yamamoto was excellent with our rabbit, Dove. The staff was professional and helpful. We got an appointment on short notice. Prices were fair. We are very happy. Best vet we have found for rabbits. We appreciate them.

I absolutely ????♥❤ LBAH especially the care under Dr. Ridgeway. He has cared for all my fur babies and currently caring for my Guinea Pig Patches. He truly is amazing, caring, communicative with me. The nurses, and all staff there are truly nice and caring too.

I took my dog to get cremated, they handled it very prompt and in a very professional manner. They also offer paw print clay molds, very great memories, physically. Thank You for your services

Called ahead of time to notify Long Beach Animal Hospital on 10/28/2021 that our dog had a hard time breathing, could have possibly been bitten by a spider or wasp, and his face was severely swollen. I was told that they didn't have oxygen tanks available at the time. Only offered an over the counter home remedy for the emergency. Arrived minutes later to be turned away in person. Rushed to VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital in Cerritos. When we arrived at VCA, we were seen right away. Had to leave one star just to write this post.

It's okay! I honestly feel like they're always trying to add a service to get more money out of you for each visit. It doesn't seem like it comes from a place of actually caring about the animals' wellbeing.

If you are thinking of bringing a reptile here, you will absolutely need an appointment. You're unlikely to get ER help here if you're wondering. I had an animal emergency for a snake and tried to get into the emergency services here. Unfortunately, everything was booked up and the only reptile specialist wasn't on shift that day, so I was turned away. The staff, however, were really nice and helped me out by referring me to another location in Culver City where they had a reptile team. Cheers to that at least ????. Snake didn't make it tho ????

They quickly let us know that the ill/injured opossum that had chosen a spot next to our car as its resting place could be brought to them immediately. They quickly came out, everything was smooth, and handled by very friendly people. A heartwarming experience all around.

Nice staff. Took my indian ringneck there. Doctor explained everything. But didn't explain that my bird may not make it.she died 2 days later. She gave me false hope.

Not responsible at all... I took my guinea pig for an emergency because she had five days in a row without eating, not moving and not making any sounds.. and they all said that she was not an emergency and that they wouldn't see her because they were full of appointments... I told them to give me any recommendations and they gave me nothing, only two numbers to call , one number was disconnected and the other one was a clinic for only cats and dogs... it's very frustrating when your pet is dying and you can't get any help to save it.. we had our guinea pig for almost 5 years so she is very special for our family... Doctors and nurses without compassion and empathy shouldn't have the chance to work in hospitals or clinics because they really don't care for the pets life.. they just see them like an object or nothing special.. second day I called the place and still don't have space to see her, the lady told me to call at 8am and it's 10am , so I can't see the difference.. the lady once again wanted to give me the numbers of other clinics to call and I told her I already called, and she said okay well you don't want the numbers ,there's nothing else we can do.. omg it's so frustrating to deal with this heartless people.. my guinea pig is dying and I can't find no one to help ???????????????????????????? I believe in karma so I really hope that one day, they can feel what I'm feeling today ????

This is where both our scaly and furry babies go! They are so kind and caring, they explain everything in great detail! Aaaand finding a vet that accepts both mamals and reptiles is so hard to find! I highly recommend this hospital for the animal lover.

I had called a day before my pet was really sick and they said they had walkins , I went in the morning in my pet was even worse . As soon as they saw me they said if I had an appointment I said I called last night and they told me u guys accept walk ins and she said yes we do but u have to call to set up a walk in visit .. wouldn't that make it an appointment. Any way she gave me another number where to call and no one was available . My pet died in my arms ..while making the other call ???? worse place they don't care about our pets .... worse part the Dr. Was right there.

Poor service.. Got to the location ontime and tried to call in curbside with no response. Called 5 more times for 20 minutes and still nothing. Ended up leaving because they didn't bother answering the phone and I had other commitments.

Took our tortoise in for a check up primarily because of 1 issue. Because it wasn't an emergency they gave us an appointment for later the same day. They are severely limiting those in their waiting room due to Covid, so just be prepared to wait in your vehicle out front. If at all possible, I recommend you call first and explain your situation. Obviously if an emergency don't hesitate! Took him in, thorough exam and pronounced him in excellent shape. They could have said he was vitamin deficient or something else that required some meds they have but they didn't. Staff was great. Doctor called us in our car with a detailed analysis. Only charge was office visit which I thought reasonable. Plus they are open late in the evening.

My Bearded Dragon, Aegon, had been having trouble eating and was loosing a lot of weight. LBH's Staff were extremely helpful over the phone and asked a good amount of questions to understand what I was needing help with. (Because of Covid we did have to sit outside but that is by no fault of the staff at all.) They were extremely patient and I commend them for coming to our car in the rain and coming to get paperwork and then taking such care with my Beardie. They kept him covered from the rain even in their own jackets. Constantly called me to keep me up to date on everything they were doing. Much like they would if I was actually inside. The Vet himself went above and beyond with his questions and asking me what all I was doing with my Beardie. Yes, vet bills are expensive but its worth it when you have a wonderful staff that actually cares about the animals they work with. You can tell they care about them. I will defiantly be returning to this vet with Aegon and any reptile I have in the future.
