I would like to personally thank Angelo Salamah for saving my 10 month old pug. He performed a last minute surgery on my pug on the day of and saved his life. Mr. Salamah is an animal enthusiast and deeply cares about each and every one of his pet clients as if they were his own. He came to the pet hospital on his day off from work to perform a life and death surgery on my puppy and while there he perform other surgeries on other pets that were in critical condition. This shows his dedication and love for his career. I highly recommend this Veterinary business for your pet needs especially veterinarian Angelo Salamah. I will recommend Ambassador Long Beach Hospital to my family and friends.

My dog needed emergency surgery and they were able to take her in right away. Any time your pet is sick it is so stressful but the Dr. Black and the vet techs were so professional and really eased my nerves. It’s warm and inviting, not like other vet offices. The examination room I got had a nice table, not those cold, metal ones others have. This is my new vet for my Maltipoo and Golden Retriever. The prices are reasonable for the services they’re providing. Thanks Ambassador LB Vets and team!

Came here as a first time customer for a potential emergency. They answered the phone promptly, had me come in right away and services were rendered in a very timely fashion. On a Tuesday afternoon mind you. All the staff were very kind and professional. The prices are very competitive. Highly recommend this clinic!!

They have been our VETERINARIAN for many years now. They treat us like family and when our 22 year old cat Junior passed away February 13th 2021 was one of our saddest days for us and they were amazing in being there for my husband and I . We only go to Ambassador Veterinary Hospital knowing their doctors treat each animal that comes there like it is their own Fur Baby ❤

We took our dog here for a check up. Waited in the room for over an hour for the doctor. Left my dog for tests and when we picked him up he was red/bruised around the neck from the collar they put on and also had 2-3 large black bruises on his neck. Very expensive as well. Also, previously asked for doctor to call to explain test results twice and never received a call back. Just don't feel there is any consistency with staff or communication. We will not return.

Just bought a Maltese puppy and called spk with Gracielle she was very helpful with scheduling my new fur baby appointment to work with my schedule. Always nervous when finding the perfect Vet for a fur baby and looking forward to further care.

I took my puppy for blood work they never called me for results, 3 weeks past until I gave them a call. I told them thats it's not okay I've been worried about the results. What the employer said "I'm sorry we've been busy and the doctor is on vacation" that shouldn't be any excuse. Out of all the employees work there not one can pick a phone and call back.

I had one of the most scary experiences I've ever had and this hospital made me feel at ease and helped me and my pup so much! My sweetheart, Bubba, was attacked by another dog today and required ER services. Ambassador Vet Hospital was very responsive and quickly made sure we were seen. Bubba was taken in quickly, stayed for the day, and came home to me in the evening. Everyone here was so helpful in our time of need. I will definitely be back for future services!

Took my hurt cat to get care here and instead of being understanding to try to save his life the uncaring vet just wanted to euthanized. When I opted to try to save my cats life with a surgery in another clinic the vet declined to send my cat home with pain medication while we wait for his surgery and gave a bogus excuse like “we didn’t do bloodwork”. Well no because the $200 x-ray already showed his fracture and that’s what needed repair. Why pay another $200 for bloodwork when it was obvious was the problem was. Not caring and terrible bedside manner. My cat will be getting surgery in another clinic and luckily he got IV fluids and pain medication until the day of his surgery because they cared and had compassion unlike this place.

- Do not bring your pet here. Brought my cat in a week ago for swollen lymph nodes on his neck. They conducted blood test which gave no insight in to his illness. He was treated with antibiotics which made the lymph nodes enlarge dramatically by the next day. I was given two bottles of additional antibiotics to treat my cat. My cat zoro stopped eating slowly and labored to breathe. My cat died this morning. Do not let these people sell you on tests that cost $100's of dollar's and a treatment that makes things worse.

I love Ambassador. Don't be fooled by the modest store front. They are amazing! They are my gold standard. The staff is excellent and the vets are so talented. able to handle my notoriously tricky mastiff who is bracheocepalic and very strong

Maybe someone else had good experiences here but I would never come back. My one year old dog suddenly had diarrhea and blood in the stool but he was still active and eating okay. I decided to take him to the vet after a week and the first vet told me that he might’ve ate something that irritated his stomach, first gave him antibiotics shot, anti vomiting shot and came home with multiple prescriptions along with a $250 bill. He was not doing better and the second vet told me that he might have too much acid and we came home with more medicine, prescription food, parasite testing and a $90 bill. After 4 visits, 2 stool tests (both are for parasite testing but different kinds. Why can’t you do it together at once???) my dog was still not better after $400 worth of treatment. Occasionally one of my friends asked have I tried the dewormer. Attention: parasite and worm are not the same and some worms are not visible to human eyes. I bought dewormer from Amazon, $20, 3 days later the dog has no problem. I met 2 different vets and multiple assistants, none of them has asked if I had tried the dewormer but jumped to the conclusion that the dog might have worse problems. Shouldn’t vets have more knowledge than others because you got a degree of treating animals? I wish there’s a good animal hospital that they really think the best of your pets instead of just sucking blood on you.

Hey guys!! I don’t usually write review but I felt inclined since they helped me out so much!! So my dog seemed down and I actually took Humbey ( my yorkie ) to another hospital ( I RATHER not mention) and they totally dismissed any questions. But at ambassador they took their time and explained things. ( thanks Angelos!!! ) and all I can say I feel so relieved and finally, with some medication and time my baby was back on track!!! 5 stars!

Yesterday was my first visit to a vet with my recent rescued dog Chika for her exam. I walked in so worried not having an appointment but the whole front counter staff was very friendly and they made our visit and wait time comfortable, especially Melody. Dr. Long was also very friendly and knowledgeable as he thoroughly explained Chikas issues. Chika and I thank you very much Ambassador Long Beach Vet and also I thank my friend for the referral.

We took our chinchilla to this place and they did nothing but charge use for all this stuff that didn’t help him! they took xrays to check his body and They told us to keep him there for a couple of hours to monitor his health and it was just a waste of our time and our poor animals time! They tell us nothing is wrong with him and that everything in the X-rays seems to come out fine his health is fine and we shouldn’t worry. Well once we take him home after a couple of hours, his WORSE his not breathing correctly and isn’t moving at all. They gave us medication for him but that didn’t seem to work and he passed away a couple of hours later. We called to inform them about what happened after and how he was doing and all they said was “ it was probably his heart” . Are you kidding me?!? After you guys kept our animal for a couple of hours I monitor him and gave us meds and checked his xrays, you want to say it’s his heart after his already passed ?!? What was all those tests they did? What were they doing, when he was under there care? DO NOT a take your animals here!

Love it here always very helpful and go out of their way to make sure they could squeeze my dog in for an appointment. He could be aggressive at times and the staff knows exactly how to manage.

Took my dog here because he was bit by another dog. They charged me 56$ to check him. And did not even bandage him up. I decide to leave because they were charging me 906$ for a laceration repair. I don’t recommend them as they are over priced. I brought him over to Thomas Veterinary Hospital in the city of Downey . They only charged me 230$.

About 3 years ago my dog, an 8 year old female chow, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and severe arthritis in her elbows. Needless to say that she wasn’t able to walk much and regularly had limped after walking. At that time she was on all the joint supplements, pain killers and anti-inflammatories, and periodic shots of Adequan. About a year ago my Vetenarian had recommended that she undergo laser treatments for her hips and elbows. Since my Vet did not do this I searched around and found out that the Ambassador Vetenarian Hospital did perform laser treatments. My dog has been getting these laser treatments every week. For the past year she has been getting much better which I mostly attribute to these laser treatments. She’s more playful now, can stand on her feet longer, and has taken more and longer walks. She bugs me all the time to walk her which I do almost every day now. Just a few days ago while working her she actually started to run with me in tow holding her leash. Something she has not done in over 5 years. I stopped running her after 30 seconds for fear that she may start limping again. But to my astonishment the limping never happened. If your dog or cat is experiencing joint issues I highly recommend getting laser treatments at the Ambassador Vetenarian Hospital. My go to person there to administrate these treatments is Brien who has been giving my dog her treatments since day one. He is very knowledgeable of my dogs joint issues and has been doing an excellent and thorough job every time.
