All of the staff are very professional and attentive to our pet's needs. We are grateful to them for the care of our special puppy.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I took my female kitten Riley for a simple spay. By the time they were done with my cat I ended up with a bill of over $700. Even after I talked to them and complained about the charges. to retaliate they padded the bill with a service for a "canine" and claimed that my "dog" was in heat. They CAN'T be TRUSTED!!!

Called to make an appointment and they needed my credit card first. Should have been forewarned. I called later that day to cancel my appointment and they told me I lost my money that I put down to hold the appointment. I’ve never heard of such a thing. Beware of this practice

I like this place but I just wish the front desk lady was a little bit more professional and more understanding that people have a time crunch

I've been meaning to write this review for awhile, but it's been difficult to come to terms with losing my best friend. Karing for kreatures truly went above and beyond to care for my cat Gidget. Gidget was a sweet and loving young guy who had never had any health concerns. Then out of the blue one day I found him on the floor breathing heavy and unable to get up. I took him to an emergency clinic. They said he had fluid in his lungs and heart problems. They gave me the option to put him down that night but I said no. I continued to look for a place to help me and I tried calling a few. Not only did Karing for kreatures get back to me immediately, they even took the time to see him on an emergency visit. They informed me that my sweet little guy was not so sweet when it came to taking medication. And they even offered to teach me how to get pills down his throat. In the end I think we all tried our hardest, but Gidget didn't like the pills. He kept getting worse and I soon found all the pills I had "thought" I had given him. Karing for kreatures was not the facility to put my sweet boy down, but they were still kind enough to send a card afterwards. I would not hesitate at all to bring another animal to them or to recommend them to a friend. I wish that Gidget and I would have had a better outcome. But I know that Karing for kreatures did everything they could have to help me have a little more time with him, and I am forever grateful for that.

The owner was incredibly unprofessional when someone was looking for a new vet. They can't take criticism in the slightest. It's unfortunate they're the only exotic vet in the area, really gives them leeway to treat people however they want. Real name hidden for safety purposes

I took my dog for a ear infection and when I picked her up she couldn’t walk. The next day still can’t walk and they couldn’t tell me why. They are very rude didn’t tell me after care for my dog. I will never take my animals here

I would just like to thank the entire office staff for always going above and beyond to answer my questions and concerns. Our ham has had chronic UTI's for some time now and it wasn't until we brought her here that we found the reason why. Dr.Betchel and staff really take pride in their work and put so much care into patients. I've always heard wonderful things about them but due to living in Corcoran I didnt necessarily want to add more drive time for vet visits but I could never dream of not going to them now.

9/14/21 Once again, Dr. B and her amazing team took amazing care of my sweet old lady! Without these people, I surely would've lost 2 of my pets. They're as …

***THEY LIED IN THEIR RESPONSE UPDATE TO THEIR RESPONSE: I hate to be rude, but before you start calling me out on things that didn’t happen, you should take a step back and work on the internal issues your organization clearly has. First, your staff is obviously incapable of correctly relaying information about customer interactions, that’s made clear by you stating that I became rude after being deprived of my *fiance’s military discount. You know the account belongs to him so that doesn’t make sense to me, that’s not the central idea here though which is why I didn’t bring it up in the initial review. What really gets me is how miserable the people at your “clinic”-seriously, what a joke of a vet’s office- look! Why I would even consider leaving my dog’s well-being in your hands is beyond me, moment of poor judgement I guess. Also, your staff is not well versed in common knowledge of veterinary practices when it comes to the age of canines and their appropriate vaccines, or they just can’t read medical records properly to find out a dog’s age. My dog is 14 weeks which is old enough to get a rabies shot. Which after reviewing his medical record.. I guess you guys cannot record accurate Information either.. he was born June 5th 2021, while the assistant recorded June 17th. Furthermore, I never REQUESTED it, I wanted the vaccine SCHEDULED, two different things. Lastly, it seems all your staff is able to do correctly is nag about the spay/neuter agenda your organization obsesses over. If I say my dog won’t be getting fixed yet because I am considering my options, that doesn’t mean push me to do it! And when I brought up that I had to ask about the side effects I was referring to the very first visit, the assistant brought me and my fiancé a clipboard and asked for us to sign, while I was reading, I HAD to ask, what they were when it states on the paper “you had already been informed about side effects”, when it was possible seizure.. yeah let’s brush off protocols/regulations to the newly pet owners. Your organization possesses poor customer service skills and a general disregard for the true well being of the animals brought to you. My review was not out of “retaliation”, my review was an honest experience. Maybe if you put the same energy you did when fabricating stories, into taking criticism and finding the root of the problem in YOUR business, you wouldn’t have to lie and try to make your business “look good”. Be better! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very rude the first two times we came in. Everyone looked like they didn’t want to be there and hated their career. That already didn’t make me feel comfortable, on top of that it made me wonder how would they treat my puppy behind closed doors. They were very one sided about nurturing, did not explain the side effects.. they weren’t really involved. When asked to sign a paper at the bottom it said you had already been informed about the side effects of the vaccine he was going to receive that day.. nope I had to ask.

Will not be coming back to this vet office. The staff was AWESOME. The Vet however told me my dog wasnt going to make it, $700 later, told me it would be about $1900.00 to try to help. I left. My dog was runni g a fever during the visit, which after speaking to another vet, we realized was due to the fact that she had just received her. Acci es a day before, which i think staff overlooked, even though i showed them themedicsl records. They kept sayi g she needed her distemper vaccibe and she already had it. My dog was NOT running a fever or anything once we left the office. They told me "if she makes it, bring her back for the rest of her vaccines" she has been totally fine, happy and healthy as can be. Switched vets and have had a better experience elsewhere. I dont mean to be negative, but the entire situation was so traumatic and overwhelming, specially for my 6yr old. A slight overlook on the staffs behalf caused us so much stress.

I came here to treat my 1yr old rat for a mild upper respiratory infection. Both the vet and the technician who took a look at him seemed comfortable and knowledgeable about rats, something which is hard to find when you have an “exotic,” pet and are limited to rural veterinary options. I called on a Friday, and due to limited appointments, was told to call back on Monday and book a time for an urgent care slot. I was able to make one for the morning on that same Monday, came in, and was seen almost immediately. With the price of the appointment itself + antibiotics the total came out to $136- a very affordable price all things considered. Strong recommend from me, for any other exotic pet owners in the area! Clean facility, competent people.

My husband and I just moved to California in time for our girl to have puppies. Things were going great until at 11 days old, the littler girl started regurgitating and then actively vomiting her food all day. It was very scary and we were preparing to lose a puppy. The entire staff at Karing for Kreatures absolutely saved our baby girl’s life. They were caring, thorough in communication, and accommodating to get Desi seen on emergency. Since her overnight stay, our pup is thriving and her mama is so happy to have her home. Thank you can never cover what this clinic did for our little family.

The staff besides the receptionist were fabulous. I think the receptionist doesn’t enjoy her job. She rushed me off the phone and told me I didn’t have to keep my appointment because I was asking questions about the dogs being vaccinated. She wanted me to do two other vaccines that I was questioning about. She has been rude before as well so I rescheduled my flea appointment. I’ll gladly go elsewhere to get care for my dogs.

1st visit and my pet was super nervous and scared. She doesn't get out much. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They took their time even though they were busy. They were very nice to to pet and seemed to take care of out issues. It was a little pricey but I would recommend them anyways.

Reasonable prices, great location, and some of the kindest vets in the valley! If your animal has to stay over night make sure to ask about their app! My dog, Whiskey, had an HGE incident that required medical attention right away. K+K took him in and made a stressful morning so much easier. Whiskey… is a bit of a hyperactive dog and doesn’t help that he hates the vet on top of it. But the people here made his experience easier and were able to get all treatments he needed. Because Whiskey condition, he needed to stay overnight, which caused him more stress because he’s never done anything. But because of the kind vets he had, all his treatments and tests were able to be done and within 24 hours Whiskey had done a full 180! And this was barely on Tuesday/Wednesday. It is now Friday and he is almost to his full self again! They have an app that allows you to communicate with their offices all day and all night if you need to know the status of your pet. That was the best part! I’ve never had a vet office with this app. Maybe it‘s new or my old vet was extremely behind but it made his overnight stay easier to handle as the owner. Thank you, K+K!

People are friendly. BUT I don't understand how you guys asking me to leave my boy HERE, IT'S LIKE LEAVE YOUR SON and THE REASON is that "THE BILL THEY SHOW ME $485.I did not accept, I wanna show my boy another doctor too. I do care of my chameleon so well. That's why I brought it here. You guys just ask me some questions about him and then $42 for the doctor's fee, (she just holds it) and ask Q, then x-ray $275, $148 is a lab, and $20 just giving him a little bit of water under his skin. Wow. How come you guys asking to leave my boy, that part is very hard for me, that's not acceptable, and also telling me we will take care of him well and find him a new owner, what the heck is that? Not happy with questions and treatment. My boy is not saleable. Thx

Kariing for Kreatures staff is always professional and compassionate toward my pets every time I have visited. My fur babies receive prompt and courteous care. I will always choose Karing for Kreatures also because of Dr. Betchels vast knowledge of treatment and best care practices for my animals. A sparkling gem for the city of Lemoore.

Doctor made all decisions based on Vet Techs notes BEFORE entering the room and never did a physical or even visual examination on my dog but she entered the room with a whole lists of tests and prescriptions that I would have to pay for before she would examine the dog further. How does a doctor make a decision based on a tech’s notes only? How does a doctor examine a dog without physically or visually examining it? How does a doctor know what prescriptions to prescribe without examination? How does a doctor know what tests to assign without examination? It’s not ethical to make a medical evaluation based only in vet tech’s notes and never actually examining the dog. All the doctor wanted was for me to spend money during this vulnerable time. Cares more about money than Karing for my Kreature. You responded to this and it was not truthful. The vet never physically examined my dog. Didn’t even touch him. The entire response was not even close to the truth. Don’t worry. I won’t be going back. Remove me from your patient list and consider this my official cancellation of the next appointment. Do not charge me for it. After an honest vet examined my dog, it was clear that not only did he have degenerative myelopathy, Pannus, and neurological issues, he was very sick and in pain. If your doctor took the time to examine my dog, she would have known these were all common and well know issues with older shepherds. My dog did not wag his tail. My dog was not walking normally. He dragged his legs while the vet was in there. I was very careful to be truthful and honest in my review. You unfortunately, in your response, were not. Sad.

Dr. Betchel is the only one I’d trust to take care of my dogs Denver and Alpine. Everyone who works here is so nice and they are really attentive to me and my dogs. I highly recommend this facility!!

I would just like to say that K&K is phenomenal. They have helped me with all five of my dogs. They are always respectful and courteous and kind. They have never dealt with a problem that they did not find the solution or the answer for. Additionally they are prompt when I call and I need service I have never had to wait for anything. I have a dog that is on monthly medication and through their app the next morning it is always ready first thing. And the staff, DR, Betchel and all the vet techs are nice. People these days are not always nice, I really appreciate it. Hands-down best vet that have been to in a very long time

Since they opened, I had loved taking my pets to Karing for Kreatures. They were decently priced & I had previously never had any issues with them not caring for my animals correctly or had any issues where any staff member was rude or unprofessional in any way. All of that changed when one of my dogs developed a bad ear infection. We took him to the vet in January 2021 & they cleaned his ear, gave him antibiotics, gave us an ear flush to clean it, & we were told to tend to it for 7 days. We did just that, & the ear infection never went away, but got worse, now infected in both ears. Less than a month later, we take him back to the vet with both ears infected & inflamed, so they proceed to clean his ears again, prescribe us the same ear flush, Baytril, antibiotics, & give him an allergy shot. His ear infections continued to get worse even though we were thorough in our aftercare, so we took him back to the vet yet again for the 3rd time in less than 2 months. They finally order a cure for both of his ears to get to the root of what exactly is causing the infections, & then proceed to prescribe the same exact ear flush and Baytril treatment that hadn’t been working for the past 2+ months. Of course the treatment didn’t work, & my dog’s ears remained just as painful, inflamed, & infected. So, we scheduled an emergency appointment asap to confront the doctor about what exactly was going on. We’ve already invested hundreds of dollars into these treatments & his condition has only worsened. When we arrive to the appointment, I am sitting right in front of Ladonna, who proceeds to look all around & ask where my dog’s owner is (I’m literally holding him), to which another nurse responds & points to where I am, Ladonna then condescendingly remarks “are you sure?” & proceeds to tell me that my dog’s appointment is only to see a nurse, when I was told he was scheduled to see the doctor; mind you we’ve already been waiting for over an hour. I tell Ladonna that I don’t care about the cost or wait, I am just worried for my dog because he’s been in constant pain for 4 months in the same condition, despite me pouring out every last dollar I have for his treatments. Ladonna then proceeds to tell me that when they take my dog to the back, the doctor is going to do the exact same thing that she had done for the past four visits (clean his ears and look at them) like he hasn’t had the same problems for months! Their treatment plan worsened his condition and left him in constant pain. In defeat, I told Ladonna to let the doctor know that she was not going to be treating my dog, & I would be finding veterinary services elsewhere. Once I requested my dog’s medical records, The extremely rude & unprofessional Ladonna argues with me, claiming that I am not my dog’s owner, & that my mother is. Keep in mind that I am almost 19 years old & adopted & paid all of the adoption fees for MY dog less than a year ago as an adult in my own name. Ladonna kept repeating that the owners on their records were “Michael & G*” (“G*” is my mother) my name is Michaela, which is spelled Michael with an “A.” No matter how many times I tried to explain to Ladonna that they must’ve simply made a mistake & forgot to put the letter “A” at the end of my name, Ladonna continued to argue that I was not the rightful owner of my dog & therefore I had no right to his medical records. Two minutes later Ladonna’s attitude completely changes and she says “Oh... it DOES say Michaela... the lettering is just really small haha” after being completely unprofessional, rude, & condescending to me in the lobby for 15 minutes. I will never bring my dog Malcolm back to this vet clinic. As a pet owner who is constantly with their pet 24/7, you would think that the staff would at least listen to or consider what I have to say regarding my pet’s condition. I do not recommend this veterinary clinic at all. The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over & over again & expecting a different result, & that is exactly what Karing for Kreatures did to my poor dog.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl and their support and compassion made a difficult process so much more bearable. Also, once while on vacation the staff, mainly Ladonna, worked with us to ensure our pup was able to get necessary medicine even from 5 hours away. This vet and staff has been beyond amazing and treat our pets as their own♥️

We brought our Queensland into the vet with very bad female problems and they said that there was a very good chance that they could help her. So we put our trust in the vet and after a few days we brought her home and she is on the road to recovery. We are so happy that everyone took really good care of her. They are the best.

This clinic has been an amazing addition to Lemoore! I was lucky enough to adopt one of the kittens that Dr. Betchel had saved. She made sure the kitten was vaccinated and ready for a forever home. When my cat unfortunately developed a complication with her eyes, Dr. B was quick to diagnose and prescribe the necessary medications to treat her! I'm so thankful that she has saved so many animals, especially my little Gapi! Gapi now lives an adventurous life as a house cat, chasing dust bunnies and knocking things off shelves!
