I took my dog here for 14.5 years. From the time she was a puppy until the very end. Dr. Mauro is one of the kindest and professional veterinarians I have been to. She truly cares about the animals and my girl loved it here. I would highly recommend this vet no matter what stage in life your pet is.

Dr. Mauro and Heather are fantastic. They are both caring and thorough. The reason for the 3 star review is because of the lack of expediency for test results/labs and also because of the rude attitude of their new front desk person named Judy. She is very short, cuts you off and is inept at being able to listen and communicate effectively. This is unfortunate, and she will eventually diminish Dr. Mauro’s practice of nothing changes.

I love Dr Mauro and her staff! They are so kind and understanding. I have two special needs dogs, and Haven takes excellent care of them. I never feel pressured making medical decisions,and I know they love my dogs!

They seem to care..reason for lower rating is that its bern impossible to build a relationship w vet as they wont let you go in with your pet..drop off outside still required. I've heard they also have rotating vets so that concerns me as I dont know who is treating my dog. I havent returned for that reason. It's very personal intimate relationship between vet, my pet and me.

We visited this office as a new patient 4 weeks ago and the visit was great. I was looking to get established at an office so if we had something happen, I would have an office to call. Well, this past week I noticed an issue with our pup and let a message on voicemail this past Sunday (6/20) asking for the office to call when they open on Monday so I could make an appointment to bring our pup in. It was 12:30 pm on Monday and I still hadn't received a call so I called in. I was told that they are short staffed because nobody wants to work because of COVID and they were doing the best they could. This person told me she would check with the Dr. and someone would call me back. At 2:30 pm I still did not receive a call back, so I called in again because now our pup had an accident while playing and thought I should have him looked at. I was told that they had my message from 9:30 am the day before but they were booked for the next 2 weeks and that the Dr. said I should take him to the emergency vet. After being told that I was disappointed because illness, accidents & check-ups is why we established at this office.

I called from my grooming salon to verify rabies and the old lady at the front desk was so rude over the phone and said “C’MON I DONT HAVE ALL DAY HERE” after i was waiting for her to read back the name i gave her and i told her she didn’t have to be so rude and her excuse was that they’re just busy.. disgusting attitude don’t go there.

Nice easy trail for walking and jogging

All staff (especially Allison and Morgan) are warm, friendly, and professional! The vet always communicates with me directly with a thorough update. I feel I can trust my pups are well taken care of with every vet visit. I love that they provide an ID card with my puppies vaccination record, PHI and photo. I can call any time during business hours whenever I have a concern about my pups and receive immediate feedback.

My Granddog has been seeing the Veterinarian here for many years. Such kind and friendly staff. Always putting the Pet before the Dollar. Love this place.

Caring and committed vets, and great staff...

I’ve brought my dogs here before the COVID and loved this place but since all this happened, now they’re taking your pets from you while staying in your car, thats terrible!! I went two different days, just for a nail clipping, i waiting in my hot car over 1 1/2hrs and they kept taking other cars that barely got there! And they never came to my car! I even called to let them know i was there waiting. I will never bring my dogs here again! Very poor service if you ask me!

This place is great. The vet tech's are some of the nicest, most caring people I've ever met. They genuinely care about you and your animals. I highly recommend this place.

This place is great!!! Fast and quality service, the people were so kind and the prices are significantly more reasonable than other places around town. I will make this our place to go to when our little dog needs care ❤.

Best place in the entire city to take your pets. Dr. Mauro is so well versed on what is going on with the local pet population it is beyond impressive. She treats all the animals as if they were her own and does not allow you to leave until you completely understand what is happening with your fur baby. She makes you feel like a close friend and that means a lot. My precious Shelby hates the smell of every vet clinic she has visited or passed by but she LOVES the welcome and the warm feeling she gets at Haven. If you are not taking your animals to Haven, then you are doing your fur babies a GREAT disservice.

Dr. Mauro and her staff are the best. Since Drama was a newborn puppy, they were always there since day 1. Our Drama is 11 yrs old now and still healthy. Thank you Haven Animal Hospital.

Dr Mauro and her staff are AMAZING. They take the time to care for your pets and explain everything that is going to be done. Our dogs and cats all love everyone there too. Thank you guys for everything you do!
