Staff very friendly. Facilities are very clean. They take care of our little girl exceptionally well. She's never stressed going in or coming back out which we've had with other groomers. Prices very reasonable as well. Our Sammy girl is quite content going there.

My babies come home nice and clean, but no warm and fuzzies from the staff, most likely they save that for the furry creatures.

Staff is friendly and always helpful. Only 1 time they were behind scheduled but they called to let me know. Better service than snooty pets. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I am a former employee of hair of the dog. I was at the salon for almost a year and i was very happy here. I left on my own accord for personal reasons. Some of these reviews are not only disappointing but completely untrue. The owner of this establishment is a great hard-working man and would NEVER steal from his employees. Steven goes above and beyond not only for his employees but his clients as well. Every current groomer there is kind, and professional. In the nine months I worked at the salon, I never had any issues, especially when it came to my pay or tips

Took my dog there for his first haircut and he is traumatized. He is a Scottish terrier and they had explained that they hadn't seen a lot of them, but I didn't think they meant that he was one of the first. His coat is uneven now and they gave him a really long skirt. He was so uncomfortable when he got home, he didn't act like himself for a couple days afterwards. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK & if you value your pets mental health then don't go here.

Went here a few days ago for the first time. New to Vegas and will be making this our new groomer. Every time I get my dogs groomed anywhere else they always make them so short . Honestly this was the best groom they ever had , they are fluffy just like I wanted and their blue tails came out great . Super happy!

Super happy we found this place! We were in town for only one night and our dog really needed a good wash and haircut before we started our drive to Texas. They got us right in and had him ready in just under 2 hours. They did a great job! Highly recommended!

I would give this pet salon LESS THAN 1 STAR if possible. My dog, a small 11 pound maltipoo, received the full groom here on August 24th. When I picked up my dog from the groomer, I was told that she had received A “minor cut”. I didn’t get the chance to observe her carefully in the store, but I noticed that she had large cuts and scratches all over her body in the car. She had a HUGE circular gash on her inner thigh as seen by the first picture, and it would not stop bleeding. Her skin actually formed a crevice because they had nicked her skin so bad. It may not seem that big in the picture, but please keep in mind that my dog is a small 11 pound maltipoo. In addition, she had razor marks all over her feet, legs, thighs, neck, and ears as you can see by some of the marks in the first picture with the wound. If you think that this is because my dog would not stop moving while grooming, that is not the problem. My dog has been to several groomers before, and she has NEVER EVER had any sort of issue while being groomed. Another reason I’d give this salon LESS THAN 1 star is because she came home with a LIVE TICK ATTACHED TO HER NECK. There is absolutely no reason for my dog to have ticks. She is a strictly indoor dog that does not go outside (even the backyard). The only time she goes outside is for walks on her bath days where we wash, dry, and thoroughly comb her fur (once with a regular detangling brush and once with a flea comb). This is once a week. As you can see by the photo, the tick had lodged itself into my dog’s neck under her ear, and you can see that it was a HUGE LIVE TICK. FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF YOUR PETS PLEASE DO NOT GET YOUR PETS GROOMED HERE.

They do a good job, I am very happy with the hairstyles of my cat and my dog ​​thanks guys ????????????????????

Great staff my 2 dogs always look great

I’ve came here a few times before and it was great, this last time.. not so great. They lied about giving my dog a bath. They charged me $40 to trim her rear area (not a whole haircut) , brushing, and to spray my dog with something. I paid for a bath, they shouldve gave her a bath! nothing like my experience before. Won’t be coming here again.

I absolutely love this place, no one seems to know how to groom corgis and every time I take them they are still shedding all over my house. My puppies looked so happy when I picked them up and smelled AMAZING! The store is so clean and the prices are great. I am going to be bringing my 18 year old chihuahua here (which I don’t trust many places to take care of her since she has seizures) since my corgis were so nicely groomed and taken care of

We only bring our 3 Boston Terriers to this dog groomer. You can tell they really love taking care of your family members and so perfectly. I definitely recommend the Hair of the Dog.

I would highly recommend this grooming company, they got me in right away, it was very clean and it smelled amazing, very happy with their service, I’m so happy I found a new groomer
