I called the animal hospital about an emergency surgery and the first girl I spoke with was extremely helpful. She placed me on hold to speak to the doctor directly. She came back and told me as long as they have a referral from the speciality center they can move forward with the surgery without an exam and gave me 2 different day/ time for surgery. When I called back to schedule the surgery I spoke to a different girl that told me he would have to have an exam first and then they could schedule it. I explained the situation and what I was told 10 mins prior and she said “well that’s what my manager just told me” so then I asked if I come in tomorrow for an exam will they be able to do the surgery because it’s imperative it happens today or tomorrow. She told me no. I then asked to speak to a manager and she immediately said she’s not available. When I asked if she could give me a call back the girl hung up on me. So needless to say I didn’t get a call back.

Had to take my cat to be seen by the Vet. We had the pleasure to be seen by Dr. White. Very satisfied with the visit and the care. Will be using BDH again!

Dr Carolina is the BEST. He loves the animals he cares for and it definitely shows. He also is an excellent surgeon if your pet needs that. We won't let anyone else see our animals. Very satisfied customers

It was my first time at a vet for me and my fur baby Kobe. We were both a little nervous. I can’t say my little guy Kobe will be excited to go back anytime soon because he had to get four shots but I was very pleased with the Overall experience and the girl that helped me with the bill and my options was so nice and beyond helpful. I will use them again in the future for Kobe’s doctors needs.

My dog was boarded here for 7 days. They did not clean her eyes once. She came home with fur glued and matted together under her eyes. She looks like she came from an animal hoarder not a veterinarian. So upsetting. Avoid this place like the plague.

Moved here 5 years ago and this place was first class. Apparently they are under new management and the place is a total money hustle. Paid over $1,500 and they never could tell me what was wrong with my dog after 3 visits and a 2 night hospital stay. Never saw the same veterinarian. Then my daughter schedules an appointment to get her dog nutered and was given a price of $65. After the procedure the price was $155 dollars. When confronted about the discrepancy the receptionist stated the prices had gone up. A manager was needed to honor the $65 quote given 4 days prior. I’m done with this place.

Thank you so much for taking care of my baby. I was so scared she wouldn't make it through the procedure but your expert staff made everything alright.

U would thk the $$ they making, they would be more professional. All the ppl that work there, half the time they in the back office playing around while the office is getting filled up with patients. They gave my Puppies the wrong shots & the front desk girl filed my Puppies under another person name instead of my number, how could she do that if I'm sitting all she had to do is ask my name, it's not that hard or my phone number to pull my info up. . I thk The South Buffalo Vet are better

My cat was completely misdiagnosed here. I wish I could give 0 stars but the 1star is for the kindness of the staff and doctors. I will start by saying the staff and doctors are very nice, but we brought our cat here for an issue last month because he was limping. He was unable to put pressure on one of his back legs. The office decided to do x-rays on his spine because they thought it was a spinal injury, but for some reason no x-rays were done on his limbs. X-rays showed nothing wrong with his spine, but he was put on a pain med and an anti-inflammatory. 10 days later at his follow-up, I advised the team that there was literally no improvement and he was still limping, and they told me after their exam that he was perfectly healthy ????♀️????♀️ Long story short, we just took him somewhere else to get a 2nd opinion, since it’s been over a month and he is STILL LIMPING, and the new office actually took an x-ray of his leg, and found he has a displaced knee cap. Plus they found he has a heart murmur! What the heck?? I’m so upset that my poor cat should have been recovering from knee surgery at this point, and we should have been able to be addressing the heart murmur. I would not take any of my pets to this office again even if it were the last office left in the city.

I have a very difficult dog (vicious, suspicious, willful, challenging) who adopted me. I have had to bring him here several times and they have always been very accommodating, generous, and professional. They have gone the extra mile to work with him and allay his fears while providing whatever care he might require. The front line staff is always pleasant and professional and the results - a living dog who continues to be healthy and annoying, speak for themselves. Highly recommended.

Got my dog a radio graph found out the results. Spoke directly with the doctor. She said my dog would need blood testing and understood how much medicine and blood work together would be and said she would prescribe pain meds and inflammatory medicine right now and to come in the next day it would to pick it up and I can get blood work in 3 weeks. The front desk rudly told me I couldn't because the notes say different!!! Made me feel like I was lieing! I'm not lieing your doctor notes are lieing! The doctor made a mistake and because the doctor made a mistake my dog has to suffer!?!!!

Do NOT take your animal here if they are sick or in need of care. Took my dog here they charged me $722 and then told me to take her to a different hospital! When I asked for antibiotics to take home they refused to give me a prescription. They offered no other option besides getting her to a hospital with a oxygen chamber. Ok, what about the infection? Oh and everything is a really big secret, you will have to ask for copies multiple times before you get anything from this place. And when you’re walking out with your sick animal in your arms you will be required to free a few fingers to sign a paper saying they are not liable for anything. WORST VET EXPERIENCE EVER!

I can't thank the doctors, nurses and staff enough for caring for Mulder during his Addisons crisis!!!! The doctors were so knowledgeable about his condition (even though it's a rare disease) and were able to literally save his life!!! The doctor was so patient and spent a lot of time with us answering questions and I had so much confidence in their competence in caring for him, it put us at ease. He is the most wonderful dog and I don't know what I would have done without him. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for saving him and giving him such care, in such a crisis! I'll never forget how comforting and professional the doctors and staff were! He's now recovering and happy at home!

First time and LAST TIME! Vet clinics like this one shouldn't be open! And from what I see it won't be long for the doors to be closed! All there negative reviews come from now back a year or so! Don't be fooled by there 4.5 stars there from years ago! This vet clinic has the same mentality as much other vet clinics. The more you love your pet, The more they will take advantage of you I mean your wallet! Unfortunately my primary care vet was booked, they gave me a referral they were also booked they gave me this location! They had MANY appointments available, now I know why. There a fraud vet clinic and people already know what there all about! I went in for one thing to see if my dog had kennel cough.. and to be issued antibiotics if necessary! Dr. Davon Carolina manager/crooked vet wanted to see me, they then issued me a room one hour later! He came in and told me alist of everything beside the cough.. X-rays, x-rays.. his heart murmur is at a 9 which he had 28 days ago with his primary care and his heart was at a 6. I asked why x-rays? It's important it's only $400 ???? I just did them not long ago with my vet! His answer! Then I recommended you go there then! I'm a owner of 13 pets.. a guy like him don't care about animals he cares about $$$. Not his fault, we love our pets! HE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT! Quick to take payment asap! $55 to tell me to go to back to Southern Hills Animal Hospital. Thank goodness I made first available which I'll wait few weeks for!

I went into this establishment to pick up my dogs medication and wanted to make an appointment for my dogs to get them updated on their vaccinations. I was told vaccinations are walk ins only. My 2.5 year old son is autistic and doesn’t do well in crowds so hence why I wanted to make an appointment and not do a walk in. They stated that the order of being seen is by appointment, emergencies and walk ins. I was told that it takes about 15 minutes per pet to be vaccinated. That would amount to a 45 minute visit. I understand that 45 minutes doesn’t seem like a long visit but with an autistic child that is a really long time for them to be out of their comfort zone. Their solution was that they could put my animals in a time slot but it’s not guaranteed that they’d be seen at that time as they’d be considered a walk in. I will now be taking my pets to a different vet as Blue Diamond staff clearly don’t respect those of the autism community nor understand my situation.

Tyanna at the front desk was the most helpful front attendant I’ve encountered. She treated every guest with respect (answered all questions, and was patient). I’ve been coming here for years and she’s hands down the nicest person working up front. Elyza, also front desk, was not friendly at all. She was very short in her response and rushed me out the door. Tyanna should train the front desk staff on maintaining high customer service.

Wonderful veterinary practice. Professional but they still retain the compassion for the animals. During our visit they were both friendly and understanding of our needs. Highly recommend!

I have never had any issues with this place but I give it a 3 mostly because I haven't been to any other vet clinic here to compare it with.

My furbaby wasn't feeling too good and wasn't eating much. We were monitoring her and since her activity level didn't change much we thought she would be ok but still kept a close eye on her. The next morning she vomitted and had abnormal discharge which freaked us out. I begin researching on google and with her not being spayed, pyometra seemed to be the common internet diagnosis. I called Blue Diamond Animal Hospital and luckily was able to schedule an appointment to be seen in 45mins. They answered the phone professionally and was very polite. Upon arrival they are very nicr and we were taken to a room right away. Dr. Louis saw our baby Khloee and was very nice and we felt comfortable right away. She confirmed the pyometra and recommended surgery that day as they were open. Khloee stayed over night and over the weekend as we had a trip we could not cancel but they took really good care of her. Dr. Louis called me to provide updates on my baby and addressed any concerns we had. When we picked Khloee up she looked like her old self again even with the cone of shame. Thank you so much Dr. Louis and staff for taking care of our furbaby. We will be taking our furbabies here regularly from now on.

This office was absolutely phenomenal. I had to make an emergency veterinarian appointment after I noticed a injury had gotten infected on my dog and was absolutely freaking out at 7:00 a.m. in the morning. They were able to find an appointment and squeeze me in that same day first thing in the morning, and I was able to get the antibiotics and treatment for my girl to make sure she was OK. Doctor white was absolutely amazing! My dog is terrified of veterinarians after a terrible experience with them a year ago. So when she first went back with Dr. White I had to encourage and help her but when she came back out with him she let him not only him get near her, she let him pet her. Which is not normal for her. She really liked them and I've been looking for a new veterinarian after the terrible experience said year ago and I think I finally found them. I will be returning.
