I love what they do and what theyre about. If youre ever wondering who to donate some money to these people should be high up there (along with street dogz lv). They do so much for the animals in need of saving in our community.

Rude when you call. These "people" who run these organizations seem bothered by the fact that some may need to make hard decisions regarding their own pets that they dont even want to make. Try finding a friend or family member first before you try any foster service to take in pets..these people dont seem to really care about the pets

Took a week to look at a dog after being told multiple times that my info was being passed to the fostermom. Got to see the dog and fell in love. THEN they tell us it's an over $400 adoption fee after I met him and fell in love. After I told Diana it was too high I got a snarky response. I will never adopt from them. Should of read more reviews.

I appreciate all operations are run by volunteers, however, if you are unorganized, it doesn’t benefit the cause. My husband followed directions and put in an application for a pup, waited the 48 hrs. as they instructed, followed up mentioning he filled out an application, only to get a respond of “did you fill out an application” no other correspondence. He followed up again a couple of days later. One sentence response, “it was adopted yesterday”. Adoption fees are high, responsiveness is not acceptable so we recommend going with Animal Foundation or Animal Network for better communication and easier adoption process.

Got my Telly little over 3 months ago. She is a wonderful girl. Chi/Jake Russell mix little over 2 years old. So glad Home 4 spot takes their time to rescue these precious fur babies for a 2nd chance to be Loved. Thank you to all.

A very rude woman answered my call I’m assuming the lady running this establishment. She was not professional at all. Very unpleasant experience.

I was inquiring about a special needs dog. When I made the call the person who answered the phone was very rude. I'm really sad because I kind of fell in love with her picture. It's really just a shame. Very Sad

I found the perfect dog for my daughter's and I. It even mentioned in his description that he's great around kids. But because mine are 5 & 3 I was turned down on the application. I find that rigorous. I want a dog my girls can grow with. He seemed so perfect for us and we would have gave him all the love in the world. Id give no stars if I could. Would not recommend. Unprofessional and rude from the get go. Shame on you Diane.

Dreadful experience. Wanted to adopted a rescue of a particular breed that rarely comes into shelters in Vegas. I was soooo excited when I stumbled upon her, emailed them, and filled out the paperwork. I offered to pay her fees without meeting her. I bought her new bowls, collars, food, toys, a bed, and had an appointment scheduled for her at my clinic to get checked out by Doc. The staff did not understand the best way to introduce current pets with potential new family members; especially dealing with an "aggressive" breed. Before I even got my first dog of this breed I spent 2 years researching it. You NEVER introduce the way they wanted. Gentry would have been eaten in a second. I've successfully introduced pets multiple times. They also, had concerns I could not support the rescue financially with any hypothetical potential medical bill - I manage a VET clinic. Where we treat all pets. With potential medical issues. Where, if I get charged, it's heavily discounted. They never once asked for pay stubs or a bank statements so where did this concern come from? She literally would have had access to the best care. We do everything from regular vet medicine, acupuncture, canine rehab, CBD options, Chinese herbs, dental work, and more. They also said they concerned that I have home repairs going on. I bought fixer upper... I'm upping the fixer. Isn't that what you do? The stray I took in 3 years ago seems okay with processing the work being done. He's just snoozing on his bed now. So, instead of rescuing an adult dog that needed a loving home and someone experienced with that breed, I bought a papered one from a AKC registered breeder - because I had the financial means to, the space to. Oh, AND I introduced them successfully and not the way they wanted to. The particular dog is still waiting for a home... it still bums me out. I had really wanted to provide her a happy life filled with love.

I had to put my dog up for adoption a few years ago and A Home For Spot was a big help I'm getting her adopted. Bella was adopted in 24 hours time and Mandi, a volunteer, helped with the paperwork. It was an easy process and they made me feel at ease.

It's been 2-3 years now and Chester is the best dog ever. We got thru Home4spot. The people running everything seemed tired like they were doing everything they could. We paid a modest adoption fee irrelevant at this point as our dog is priceless.

I rescued my dog bagel (beagle) re named him Biscuit. He originally was skittish and was already potty trained and liked to chew as he was only 11 months old. I have now had him 4 months he has really come around no more chewing is now extremely loving and not skittish anymore. The staff at Home for Spot are very professional and very caring and loving towards the dogs. They really take their time to place the dogs into good homes and find a good fit. I am blessed to have found him often I wonder who saved who. I strongly recommend this rescue if you are looking for a pet.

Both of my grand dogs were adopted from a Home 4 Spot. They are the best dogs we could have asked for. The foster dog parents take really good care of these dogs it shows. I would definitely recommend this rescue if you are looking to get a dog. A rescue should be your best option to gain a best friend to love and for them to love you back.

We adopted a dog and paid for the dog but due to a 24 hour delay in the contractor coming to fix our gate.We were told no because we have never owned a dog before. Ridiculous that is like telling a couple no you cannot adopt an infant because you have never been a parent. Then they have the nerve to send us a picture of a different dog.It was not about getting any dog. We fell in love with Squiggy and were excited to welcome him into the family l.I would not recommend this organization to anyone.Yes we are still waiting on our refund but the dog is being advertised on their Instagram for adoption.

My boyfriend and I found our amazing dog through A Home 4 Spot. He was going to be euthanized by a local shelter for being shy but they picked him up and brought him out of his shell and he is just the most amazing dog!!! They provide a great service to the community and the homeless dogs of Las Vegas!!!

Diane is the absolute rudest condescending person I have ever met. I have had dogs since I was 6 years old and have had 2 dogs that lived in my current home over the last 28 years, She said no because of weeds in the backyard (that by the way will be gone on the weekend) My dogs have never got sick because of weeds - they both went to doggie heaven because of old age, I would NEVER even consider A home 4 spot I am so disappointed and upset - she may find a nice backyard but will never find anyone that would have loved and cared for those dogs more

I adopted my dog from this organization on Black Friday at Petsmart 2.5 yrs ago. Zappos helped cover some of the adoption fees. Our little boy is a true gem, and we couldn’t imagine our house without him.

My daughter and I adopted our cheweenie “Buzz” about a year and a half ago from A Home 4 Spot. They were having one of their adoption Saturdays at the Pet Smart at the North Rainbow/Best of the West shopping center. We were looking for a small dog and this organization had a ton of small dogs. We fell in love with “Buzz” and was able to speak with his foster Mom, who had been taking care of him personally the last 3 months. She was very polite and professional in explaining what kind of food Buzz liked, which toys were his favorite, and went over his general background. Poor Buzz had come from an abused home, but “A Home 4 Spot” rescued him and now he has been living happily ever after with us. The cool thing is that during the adoption process, we got a booklet of coupons from Pet Smart, ranging from doggie daycare, grooming services, pet hotel, and even obedience classes. The organization also followed-up on a few occasions to make sure that Buzz was adjusting to living with us and that we were all happy together. So just know, these are good people who run this organization and they truly care about the dogs and placing them in the right homes. If for some reason, things do not work out, the organization asks that you bring the dog back to them instead of one of the animal shelters.

I emailed and texted them about a dog they posted 15 minutes prior to go meet and they never got back to me. I check again the next day and the dog is now "pending adoption."
