El Toro Animal Hospital Lake Forest, California

A family member recommended we come to El Toro due to their affordable prices and good service. I am glad we listened to this suggestion, as we are extremely satisfied with the services provided. To begin with, the front office ladies were very nice and helpful with check in and pick up. The staff that took our dachshund inside and brought him out when they were done were also friendly. Other hospitals had a long waiting list and quoted us $500+ for a neuter but we spent a lot less than that here. It has been two weeks since the neuter and our little baby has fully recovered. I don't know what the negative reviews are about prices because everything was transparent and we were given an opportunity to add or decline things we didn't need. 5/5!!

A SCAM!!! This place tried charging me hundreds of dollars in fees for my dog and I was suspicious of it already so I took him to another vet and they told me he was a perfectly healthy puppy! DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR MONEY! Additionally, after my basic health check for my puppy. I requested a doctor's note to submit to the insurance companies and they keep telling me that I neso I ed doctor's approvals to get the note so I am still waiting a week later to get the note

Overall conversations and care with the actual Vet is always great! But nurses/reception are normally really unclear and vague. For instance, they will sometimes do tests without specifically telling you till the end when you get the bill. Even though you told them specifically what you are there for. So just have to be overly clear!

Did terrible job on nail trimming and then gave attitude when brought up the quality of the job they did, very unprofessional and rude would not take my dogs there again

I hadn’t been here since Dr Fred bought the hospital and I’m so glad to be back! Dr Read was very informative in his quest regarding our old rescue German Shepherd Arthur. He asked detailed questions and gave us reasonable possibilities and assurance of making him as comfortable as possible. We learned more in 5 minutes than we had in the last 5 years.

Took my cat here and I can tell he was in good hands. They said he was well-behaved and he is terrified of strangers, so he must have felt safe. I dropped him off for surgery and was able to pick him up with no problem. My only comment is that I came as soon as the place was supposed to open and was waiting with others at the front door. The woman who was supposed to open up was late about 10 minutes.

In this time with COVID everything is done with a remote feel by calling when there, staying in your car until ready, etc. I like the friendly reception of the technician's and the Vet still talking to you directly and not changing the direct communication with them. I liked this Vet and will definitely come back.

Dr. Fred is very nice, but the other “doctor” I think it’s Doctor Fred’s son in-law, don’t ever leave your pet in his hands. He is not a kind person at all, if you know what I mean. It’s been a few years but I never forget the look on my baby’s eyes looking at me when the door accidentally opened and I saw how bad he was holding her and “trying” to cover up his mess. I had a great law suit in my hand but I choose not to.

I have been taking my 2 dogs to Dr. Saad for the last 3 years. He always takes good care of them. The dogs seem to like him as well! The staff are great and answer all my questions. The place is clean and has an entrance for dogs and another for cats.

DR. Fred is taking care of our Boston Terrier for 10 years . He and his staff been very kind and professional treating our dog with love and compassion. Best employees very helpful so nice saved my dogs life

Dr. Fred and his team always show love, empathy and compassion. He has taken care of our Boxers for the past 7 years and we would never go anywhere else. We had to take our Sarge this past Tuesday due to an allergic reaction and Dr Fred took fantastic care of him, Sarge is now hive free and a happy pup again.

Crazy rediculous prices. My 17 year old dog was sick. Dr arrived in the room, asked a few questions and left. Next, a woman comes in with a bill for $630, to pay if I wanted the Dr to help my pet. I'm a disabled senior on disability. If I were able to afford that amount, I still would have done exactly what I did. I picked my baby and took her home. Sure I cried but my tears filed me to treat her myself. Four weeks later? She is bouncing around like a three year old. I for one am not ignorant and refuse to be treated ignorantly. I went to this place trusting them. I left there vowing to never return.

Been taking my Labradoodle to El toro Animal hospital for a year now and have only had a pleasant and professional experience every time. I was running 15 minutes late for my last appointment and was still greeted with a smile and the front desk ladies, who are always so nice and helpful, got my pup right into the waiting room. My dog never leaves unhappy and neither do I.

Maria who runs the front is awesome, she is courteous and very professional. This office is our Dogs permanent Vet from now on.

I was given an appointment and when I got there I was told that we needed to spend more money and have more appointments before they would see us. They have a total disregard for people's lives.

Dr Saad is professional and compassionate. The staff were courteous and accommodating. The doctor remembered us from our last visit, almost 8 years ago.
