Initially came to All Creatures for an emergency for my little one and the service, care and professionalism was fantastic. Enough to decide they would be my normal Vet office. As luck would have it, my dog then got sick a few months later and, again, had to bring her in. Even with no appointment, they managed to squeeze me in, where, again, she got great care, a quick solution to what she was experiencing and efficient, professional treatment from the nurses and front desk staff, not to mention the Vet. I can't say enough positive things about this location.

I took my little dog in for a cough that she had, that has progressed to concern, on a Friday to se Dr. Emswiller. We went on Saturday to review the results which showed she had bacteria in her urine and blood while also coughing with a possible infection. The Doctor put her on KD food and didn't address the cough as he wanted to first go through her Kidney issues. Nothing was done on her cough, which I brought her in for. The next morning I wake up with her gasping for breath and coughing consistently. I brought her to the VCA Emergency clinic on Jefferson and they found Pneumonia. She had to be kept overnight in an O2 tank and nearly died. The VCA Emergency Clinic was great and the Doctors very helpful. The Doctors there found she had Corona Virus, Kennel Cough, and another infection. How this was missed by the first Doctor at the VCA on Washington is beyond me. It was literally less than 48 hours with similar symptoms. I paid the VCA on Washington $1000 for a false hope and diagnosis. I paid the VCA emergency clinic over 4k. Then, I brought her to a new vet who also agreed, and apologized for the VCA on Washington Doctors diagnosis. My dog's kidney test came back fine as she had bad Pneumonia which was the cause of showing kidney failure. Now I am working with them to verify if she has an enlarged heart and liver. This vet never offered antibiotics or help on her cough, just her kidneys which were failing due to pneumonia. The point is, I wasted $1000 at this vet for an improper diagnosis that none of the 4 other Doctors my dog has seen could get behind from this particular vets diagnosis. Be careful and make sure your dog is looked at for what it is brought in for.

Really nice people! Excellent job with my sick kitty! Was confident to leave my fur baby with them. Thank you!

After a few months, I thought it important to finally write a review of my experience at VCA. It was horrible. My cat is a client at the hospital for the better part of a decade. Over the last two year, the service and care at All Creatures declined. My cat required blood work. The nurse messed up my message and requests. The doctors did the wrong test. I never said anything. But I am very upset about the whole ordeal.

Very poor care for my 3 dogs. Sent them home with feces. Refused to bath them after staying under their care for 4 days. Was.told my dogs were left alone because they were timid. Animal neglect. Not happy at all.

I do love Dr. Lingareddy as he is really informative and thorough but SERIOUSLY the management needs to hire more help! The front staff works really hard but there is not enough of them for such a busy office. Always put on hold..it's so frustrating. It would also help if I could just reorder food and all refills online but the online account is incomplete. HIRE MORE PEOPLE PLEASE!!

Very disappointed about the quality of care regarding chinchillas. I called to ask about this hospital’s experience caring for chinchillas and was told yes they do care for them. After waiting 1 week to be seen and my chinchilla had specific symptoms.. animal was misdiagnosed. By the time i could self- referral to another vet who specialized in chinchilla care.. it was too late to save her life.i suggest avoiding this vet. Hospital if you require exotic animal care.

My two Standard Poodles have been coming to see all the staff here. Our boy fell ill quickly and they supported him and us in his passing 5 years ago. Our girl has just turned 14 and it's in large part due to this excellent staff. Dr. Lingareddy and Dr. Fenton are her primary. The supporting staff here are kind and highly effective. The Boarding staff has cared for my fur family members as if she is their own. I can't say enough! Here is a picture of the 14th celebration they gave her during her last boarding . I'm grateful for their service.

Dr Fenton and his staff are first class-they care about their patients and the patient's servants(owners). Have known Dr Fenton for 20 years- he has taken care of all our critters in a truly caring, professional and heartfelt manner.

Costs are high at any vetenary hospital you go to, but here they at least have the best staff. So friendly and understanding, as well as thorough with explaining everything that is going on with your pets. Hopefully you only need to bring your pets for standard checkups, but if not, its still best to come here.

Doctor Fenton is awesome. Explains things really well, and also helps you to figure out what might be the next course of action.

Every time I call this vet which I have used for 12 years, the first thing they tell me is to call some other vet because they are too busy. The woman who answers the phone is excessively rude and her entire goal is to get you off the phone and your pet away from that hospital. Seriously horrible. STOP TELLING ME TO CALL SOME OTHER VET. IT IS TOTALLY INCONSIDERATE.

VCA All Creatures Veterinary Services are average. Our Cairn Terrier had a skin melanoma that went unchecked after being seen by 3 different veterinarians there. We discovered it at home and then had it aspirated at VCA All Creatures. I had the melanoma removed at another VCA clinic in Pal Springs. Dr. Fenton then called me today and refused to do dental surgery on my Cairn Terrier. This was after botched appointments and recommendations. I would highly recommend seeking veterinary services elsewhere. I am very disappointed in VCA All Creatures and if you do contract their services , please be sure to get a second opinion to ensure that recommendations are necessary and “necessary” services are warranted.

Great service, friendly but expensive I’m afraid if you don’t have pet insurance, charged me $45 just for a follow up that took 15 minutes. After spending around $250 for the first visit and medicine for my cat , which I thinks it’s more justified but for the follow up ?

Dr. Fenton is EXCELLENT, MOST CARING & even tried to maintain my 17 y/o poodle's life, unfortunately she did pass away from old age. DR. FENTON even phoned me THE VERY NEXT DAY TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING, This truly indicates how Dr. Fenton & staff truly care for our pets & our pet parents as well !! I would gladly give my VET a 5 STAR. Prices are good & his staff also enjoy working here. I just got another 8 lb Poodle & will naturally continue using their services, Lynn West. . .

This was my first time at VCA All Creatures and I had an incredibly positive experience. From the time I first called, to the friendly way I was greeted dropping off my little one, to the personal talk I had with Dr Fenton, right through to picking back up my dog who was treated (and cured) for all issues. It was a short notice appointment because my dog had been bitten on the nose, and the staff led by Andie were incredibly accommodating and helped me feel very calm and confident during a scary situation for my dog. I’m now making this location my regular vet for all my pet needs, and I can’t speak highly enough of them!

I have mix feelings about my recent service with VCA All Creatures. I recently took my Heeler in because she was limping on her back leg. My first appointment was on Friday afternoon. The Dr. wanted to do x-rays. Being so late in the day it would not be good for my dog. Schedule an appointment for Monday morning first thing. So far follow up was good. Dr called me Monday afternoon to tell me he had to wait for the final reading from the X-ray Dr which he would have Tuesday. He said he would be off Tuesday but would have another Dr call me Tuesday with the X-ray Dr findings after reading the x-rays. It's been close to three weeks and no call from anyone with a follow up on my dogs x-ray readings. Lucky my dogs back leg healed up fine with rest. I really wanted a much more positive experience with this vet especially since I saw this location offers acupuncture. Make sure you go over your billing carefully. I caught twice the staff trying to over bill me for over $170.

Very nice vets office, Carlos the vet tech was awesome and gave my puppy flea treatment but we still can’t figure why she itches so much. Stool sample came out clean. Vet recommended a spay and shots. $125 well spent I thought I was happy to continue going here until I realized how much they nickel and dime you. When my dog reached the recommended spay age I call to schedule a spay and ask about the pricing. At that point I am informed I will need to pay another $75 for a “quote” on the spay. Basically they wanted to perform an unnecessary exam. They couldn’t even give me a ballpark price After looking at my initial paperwork I realized the goal here is to sell you on some type of insurance. If you’re not going to buy their insurance then they don’t want your business here The insurance might be a good deal, but I don’t like to be forced to pay for it

Jan 2021 UPDATE: My review for Dr. H remains the same - however, I am updating my comments due to my recent communication with the front desk staff. I am currently travelling and wanted to ask Dr. H about a medication that was prescribed to my little one. I didn't want a diagnosis or any other examination as I'm out of the Country until the borders re-open. The clerk who answered the phone would NOT allow me to ask any questions, nor send an email to Dr. H - my vet of choice for my little one's life. Neither empathy, sympathy nor any other caring attitude was conveyed other than I was wasting her time. I wanted only to get Dr. H's thoughts on the medication that was prescribed for Little Bit's heart while I was out of the country (Dr. H IS my little one's Doctor) and I wasn't given the opportunity to ask him a question directly. Dr. H has ALWAYS reached out to make sure Little Bit was healthy. He very well may have responded to say that I needed to discuss my question with the vet from abroad that prescribed the medication. But I was not even afforded that communication with my dog's own Veterinarian - I'm not certain how the front desk staff have the type of authority where they - alone - can decide which clients can speak to their own veterinarian? VERY different Customer Service since my last visit in 2020. Too bad. This Review was from 2020 It's very rare to find a Veterinarian that makes you feel so lucky to have found them! Dr. Hyun (Dr. "H") at VCA All Creatures is that person! My baby girl is 12 and my every day joy! I relocated back to the Desert this month and found that my favorite vet had gone to NC. I visited no less than 3 hospitals and met each of the Veterinarians to experience their 'bedside manner' so-to-speak, in order to decide who I was going to trust to care for my little one. The minute Dr. H walked into the room, I KNEW. His smile meets his eyes; he is so genuinely caring about my girl and I didn't hesitate to book the procedure with him. Little Bit is an older girl, so I was extremely anxious about her going 'under', but EVERY single person I met at VCA All Creatures was NICE, smiling and still professional (it CAN happen!). Dr. H not only called me personally both BEFORE & AFTER surgery to let me know how Little Bit was doing, he ALSO called me the evening after I picked her up to follow up and ensure all was well. I can't say enough about this hospital and all of the team! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hyun and VCA All Creatures - they will set your mind and heart at ease that you have finally found the right place! THANK YOU!!
