The Village Pup La Quinta, California

Thought I would try here as I just moved to the Cove. First very nice and clean place. Had to wait for my grooming appointment. A couple of hiccups on getting that appointment with communication. But today was greeted nicely and told my groomer would be out. He came out not even knowing the name of my dog. Not a good start. She is under 20lbs a very easy grooming just a 1/2 inch all over.. nothing fancy. He told me you know this will be uneven right. She is 4 been groomed many times never a problem before. He makes no fuss of her and finally asks me what her name is.it’s going to take an hour. When at home I get my text notification of my appointment 21 minutes after my appointment has started. I pick her up yep she is uneven as he said she would be, you left her ears and tail long not what I had asked for she doesn’t even smell like she was washed. Then I get charged $85 and tip of 15% so $97. Absolutely rip off. Will finish the job myself. And not support local. The 2 stars was for the cleanliness that’s about it.

Buddy always loves it there. People are so great with dogs of all ages.

Such a GREAT experience!!! They take every reasonable effort necessary to ensure your pups safety and happiness. I really appreciate their level of service all around. Their staff is super friendly and top-notch professionals. We used their daycare and grooming services and will definitely be back and often!

The La Quinta facility is amazing! Honestly it’s like a paradise for dogs. The employees were all amazing with the animals and seemed very engaged with them. I highly recommend them!

We have used this ever improving kennel for our dog for years. We and our dog love the place.

We were in LA Quinta for the weekend and wanted our pups to have some social time. The staff here is amazing. There is no place like the Village Pup near our home. We can't wait to visit the desert again knowing our pups will be well taken care of and happy.

If The Village Pup accepted humans at their facility I would move in and never leave! But at least I know my dog is in the best place staffed by knowledgeable, truly caring people. And I can watch her on the Pup Cam hanging out with all her pals! What's not to love?

The service here is spectacular. My mom hadn't been back in over a year and they remembered her dogs name!

We have been taking our dogs to The Village Pup since they first opened and have only had good experiences. Ours dogs love going and come home tired! The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. They put the safety of all dogs before anything else, which is the most important thing to us. Thank you for all you do!

I LOVE this place because my fur son does. I know he loves it because I get to check in on him on the cameras throughout the day and can see him having a great time. The staff is super friendly and it's always a pleasure interacting with them. Excellent customer service and a safe, fun environment for my pup to socialize. What more could you want?!

Desi the Newf and Bodie the Berner love to come for a play day and spa day. Great associates where who get to know the dogs.

Let me start by talking about the people who work here. The owners and all the employees are excellent with your pup! You wouldn't do this job if you didn't have passion for it. They are knowledgeable and take the time to make sure you know everything you need to know about the service your pup is getting. I first started taking my boy here for daycare so he could be socialized. He loved going in and hanging out with all his new friends. Plus he was mellowed out by the time I got him home. Next, Zeus was part of their training program. I chose the one where he stays for a few weeks overnight and is trained in the day. I hated to leave him, but I knew it was for his own benefit! They were sweet enough to send me pictures and messages during the day because it's so hard to be without your puppy. They did an excellent job training my little goober. He still knows all his commands 5 months later. I decided not to have him neutered, so he is not going to daycare anymore, but now he's getting groomed here! This was the first time I took him there for grooming. He came out a whole new dog! They did such an excellent job. Zeus will definitely be coming back.

I'm given it 2 ☆'s because they're awful at getting back to prospective clients. This place was recommended to me by a nice lady I met at a dog park almost 3 weeks ago. I requested information on how I can enroll my 6 month old pup to bring her in and to this date, my request went ignored...????

It is a great place and she did not come out shaking for her 1st time there. They seem to be very careful with her and loving

No cages, doggies gang with each other the way their nature wants it. Clean at all times. folks love what they do and care for the pets. A god send for our family.

Claim to be dog people, not close. Traveled around the country with my shepherd lab mix, stayed at pet daycares everywhere and never a problem. 15 minutes at the village pup, and she's not a good fit. Wasted our time.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been bringing my puppu here for quite a while now and they never disappoint me. Super friendly and super kind to my little fur baby. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!

Village Pup is our dog's favorite place to go to. It is a very friendly place for dogs. We enjoy taking are boxer to play with all the other dogs and he loves it.

I am so happy to have found Village Pup when we moved to the desert this summer. Caring and attentive boarding and day-care. Plus top notch grooming services! Our Molly has always come back from boarding stays nervous, but with Village Pup's care, she comes home happy and tired!

No cage dog boarding that really cares about the dogs. Grooming on site as well.

Great spot to drop dog off for indoor play or boarding.Very nice staff& Owner!!????????????
