Awesome service, Katy is extremely helpful. Our dog used to have separation anxiety, now she goes in willing with a waging tail. When I dropped her off because of a travel plans the handler actually remembered her name, and our 100+ lb Shepard was happy to see him.

Great place to board & have grooming! Definitely the best rates in town & great staff! Will be back & will refer others!

Great place took my dog there for 4 days

They worked with my fluctuating schedule, and had my girls all bathed and trimmed when we picked them up. I count on them to care for animals I truly treasure, and they're always in good shape on pick up.

Not able to grade them higher since we just visited. They were full for when we needed them. But willing to try them.

Really disappointed in the customer service. I’ve used this company for many years for grooming and boarding. We had a return flight Friday night and planned to pick up our pets Saturday morning. Our flight was cancelled and I called right away to inform the staff I’d likely be in Saturday afternoon and asked the latest pick up time. I was told “we leave at 430”. I asked if there was any way I could pick up my pets that afternoon a bit past 430 and was told no one would be in the building. I was then forced to board my dogs an additional 2 days, Saturday and Sunday since they are closed Sunday. We arrived in LA and were in the area around 5pm. We went home to unload bags since we were told the Dog Lodge closed at 430. I received a call at 615pm from a woman in the office asking if I was close by to pick up my dogs before she went home. I told her I’d called about my cancelled flight. She sighed and said “the morning shift didn’t say anything about this” and said she was leaving for the day. If this staff was honest with their clients, I’d have picked up my pets Saturday avoiding the additional 2 days fee. I explained this at the front desk and was told “too bad. We can’t reopen the office to charge you. You don’t understand how business works” I very clearly understand I could have paid credit card by phone, they choose when to batch out the credit card systems. They simply chose to cut corners and not TRY and assist their customer. Very disappointing that after so many years of loyalty to this location, their poor communication was an easy way to get an extra $100 out of me. Why post 530pm closing if the staff just gets to come and go as they please?

Took my baby to the lodge for 4 days. I called a few times to check on him and they were helpful nice. When I picked him up he was happy to see me. He seamed a little off for the first day of being home but was back to his self quickly. I'd board him again there. Oh and he's a 100+ pound pit bull/bull mastiff and not the easiest to handle but the little old man that handled him did great

Very nice people. My dog always looks great and happy when I pick her up. Not like when I take her to big chain locations that offer grooming services.

They know how to take care of your dogs. They are friendly and helpful. Their groomers are also very good.(except for the fact that you can't pick up your dog's til Monday if you leave them there on Saturday cause they are closed on Sunday). They must be doing something right cause they have been in business since I moved to La Mirada and that was back in 1985.

Words can't even express my dogs experience here! Been taking them here for over 1 year after my dogs had a really horrible experience at PetSmart pet hotel. They left one of them in his own filth for the entire 4 days he was there. So heartbreaking! The Dog Lodge would never let that happen to your little babies. They take really good care of them. They allow them to lodge together. Helps with homesickness and separation anxiety as well. You can't go wrong here guys. Friendly staff and very clean operation as well. Go check them out. Don't pass this place up.

My dogs love the Dogg lodge

If I could give this place a 6th star I would! I found the Dog Lodge online on 30 November, yes the day before Thanksgiving, and to my suprise they actually had openings! The place is nice and the staff was amazing and friendly but the best point for me were the prices. It cost me a quarter of what I normally spend to board my dog here. After two days boarding and a grooming it still cost me less than what PetCo would charge me for one day of boarding. Lifehack: bring an old shirt with you to put in the kennel with your dog so they have something that smells like you while you are away.

Excellent service and care but I wish the kennel was open on Sunday's so I can pick up my pet.
