I brought my puppy here she was vomiting white foam which is nothing serious but since it was ongoing I brought her for checkup. My puppy had one vaccine left to take in which they said no it three vaccine that she needs to take and I said ok. Since I was worried about my puppy in which she was not at critical stage or anything like that I was just worried because she was the only one I had left and raised. They saw that an took advantage the run so many test that they didn’t need give her vaccine shot which was not listed on her last visit. The doctor comes on the phone to talk to you for seconds I couldn’t even understand what she was saying last I heard was I need to keep your puppy over night. I didn’t like the idea but I trusted them and allowed my puppy who was playing running jumping.. to stay overnight. The next thing I called early morning and I was told that she is doing fine and we will get in though one the doctor comes in which is 11 am. I got a call around 1pm saying that your puppy is going through a CPR which did not make any sense to me . I questioned them that this is impossible that my baby was fine yesterday there is no reason that could get her to undergo a CPR. The told us to take her to emergency which was not even the plan. This happened because they feed her some kind of food disregarding her condition and now my puppy is gone for every because she was choking and the doctor said there is nothing I can do just like that. They made us pay all the CPR … payments. We paid for something that was caused because of their negligence and now my baby is gone for ever because the didn’t pay attention to her as per her body size and condition. They only care about the payment the doctor talk’s to you just because she had too.I paid $2000 in one day. What kind of a vet is this. Couple of years before I heard the same things about this place I didn’t give it enough attention but now I experienced it first hand. If you love your puppy please do not bring it to this place as they are very negligent and business focused only they could cost you your puppy/ baby’s life. I would never forgive them for their negligence and not giving extra attention and care to animals.

I needed a very last minute Health Certificate for my move to Hawaii and these guys got me in even being a new patient and got me everything I needed. They were all very awesome and helpful. They helped take a load off my shoulders. Happy I found them!

Dr. Jackson saved my husky Princess Nikita years ago when the vets at the animal hospital in Century City said she would need to be put down. My husky developed pyometra at 8 years old. She had a hysterectomy and went into multi organ failure during surgery. We called Dr. Jackson and said she thought she could save my Nikita with a few days in her clinic. She saved her and gave us another 8 years with my baby girl. Thank you for not giving up on her, Dr. Jackson, we will always think of you with with loving thoughts. ❣

DO NOT EVER take your pet to Airport Cities Animal Hospital. Dr. Toya Jackson, who I understand is the owner, is an absolute crook and con artist. She also carefully trains all her employees in the art of con-artistry. Since their office is close to me, I had the horrifying experience of taking my precious kitty there for a simple case of Cat UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). Being a careful shopper, I proactively asked them on the phone what this is going to cost me. I was told "We cannot give you a price for treatment (understandable), but we can tell you that an office visit costs $65 and for that you'll get a diagnosis". Ok, sounds fair enough to me. That began my 1 week ordeal of absolute horror with this place. We come to find out that we DO NOT GET A DIAGNOSIS for the cost of an office visit. After the exam. we find out that we need to pay for VERY EXPENSIVE LAB TESTS in order to get a diagnosis (Don't forget this is very textbook, routine UTI, the most common pet ailment that vets treat). Being a first time client there, the Dr. skillfully "qualifies" me (a sales term) to find out just how much cash she thinks she's going to be able to extract from me. She tells me that my cat (20 years old) has a few teeth that NEED extraction. I know this costs several thousand dollars, and it's beyond silly to even consider it for such an old cat. So I nicely ask her to focus on the UTI and we'll consider dental treatment later. At this point I'm in for $59 and this is when the real horror begins. I ask for the diagnosis, and thus begins the HARDCORE UPSELL tactics. I realize that I'VE BEEN LIED TO. I DO NOT HAVE A DIAGNOSIS for the cost of an office visit. Long story short, these criminals ended up robbing me of over $500 for a SIMPLE CASE OF CAT UTI, and THEY DID NOT EVEN CURE HER. And that was with me having to put the kabosh on many other things that the Dr. wanted to do and bill for. The Dr. gave my cat a (VERY EXPENSIVE) antibiotics shot. The Dr. recommended that my cat spend the night (with of course a boarding fee). A day later I pick up my cat and I see the over $500 bill. And $500+ is not enough for this pig of a Dr. She also wants to sell me VERY EXPENSIVE cat food and supplements (all of which are available online at a fraction of this con artist's prices). I AM LIVID. But at least I'll have a cured cat. NOT! NO SUCH LUCK. Within 1 week, the cat's symptoms are back. Full blown UTI again. AND THE DR. KNEW THAT WOULD BE THE CASE, AS THAT'S WHAT THE SHOT DOES. So I call the office, and ask what do we do now? I am BEYOND SHOCKED and HORRIFIED to hear very matter-of-factly "Well bring the cat in and we'll begin the process again". WHAT? No credit for the $500+ I've already spent? YOU KNOW the cat has UTI. No backup plan? Nope. "We need to run new labs". "Do I pay for these new labs?". "Of course you do. We bill for everything we do". All the employees are VERY SKILLFULLY trained in the art of "how to win arguments with customers and how to blame the customer for everything". It's like talking to a wall. Everyone who works there knows well that $$$ M-O-N-E-Y $$$ is the bottom line. I am so disgusted that I just hang up and start searching for a new Vet. Thank g-d I quickly found a good (AND HONEST) Vet. And as an FYI, there are several Vets in this area this offer a FREE office visit for first time clients. Not so for the pig of a Dr. Toya Jackson at Airport Cities Animal Hospital. After a hands-on exam, my new Vet simply prescribes liquid Amoxicillin (the standard, textbook treatment for Cat UTI), and my cat was cured for good. Summary- For OVER $500 (plus MANY MORE upsell attempts), Airport Cities Animal Hospital did NOTHING to cure my cat of the simplest, most common ailment that cats can possibly have, except to run up a HUGE BILL. For a TOTAL COST of $18 (for meds, 1st office visit was free) and NO upsell attempts, Dr. Kumar of Hawthorne CURED my cat permanently of UTI. Airport Cities Animal Hospital. is an extremely dishonest, CRIMINAL OPERATION. DO NOT EVER go there. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

It pains me to leave one star. I don't want to go into the entire story on my pet's ailment because it is long, but I had been with Dr. Jackson since 2009 for 5 dogs and 1 cat, so I'm not just some walk-in. After 8 years, there was some incredibly unprofessional behavior - even other veterinarians involved in the situation were shocked. I am glad there were witnesses during all of the conversations (I use speakerphone at home) because some of the things said were extremely disturbing. There were several attempts to say I had been told one thing when in fact I was told the opposite (and have the witnesses to prove it). They even pretended they didn't know how to read a lab report and had to be told where to find the lab pathologist's name! Other vets have said that's standard stuff that shouldn't need explaining, so something weird was going on. I have been contemplating filing a complaint with the California Veterinary Medical Board. I suspect the unprofessionalism began when they realized they had messed up and tried to cover themselves. Really disappointing. I also see other reviews where long-time clients noticed unprofessionalism/greed and decided to stop using Airport Cities, so this seems to be a trend.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET!! Let me start by saying I am huge pitbull advocate and believe they are the best breed ever. I love my animals more than I like people. They are my best friends. I have 2 dogs that have lived together for almost 7 years with no issues with each other until about a year ago when of my dogs got vertigo, then my dogs started occasionally getting into fight with each other. Over the last 3 months they have been fighting almost everyday. On Sunday when I was breaking up one of the fights I finally got a bad bite and spent the day in the ER. It was my fault for getting bit because I stuck my hand in the way but I didn't want them to kill each other. The following day I decided that no matter how much I loved them that I needed to put them to sleep before some seriously got hurt or one of the dogs killed each other. So I decided to contact this vet, they quickly told me that this was no excuse to put a dog down and that everything would be fine. I insisted that everything would not be okay but they stood their ground and would not help me. Well today 72 hours after contacting them I walked outside to find a dead dog that was brutally murdered by the other dog which is also in bad shape. Here is what the living dog looks like. I would like to thank Airport Cities Vet Hospital for turning my great memories of my beloved dogs into the biggest nightmare of my life. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I have been going to Dr J (Jackson) for over 13 years. She has taken wonderful care of my dogs & her staff is great. She is a compassionate, understanding, & knowledgable vet who wants to give the best care possible. She helped one of my dogs with numerous issues & was always patient & caring, wanting to do the best for my dog but also what I felt comfortable with. I live in Redondo & she's worth the 20-25 minute drive!

Be very wary of Dr. Antoun. I blindly trusted him with my cat. He let him lay there for 2 weeks, giving him only fluids. $2,000 later I took out of there & to a real animal hospital only to find he has cancer. I do not recommend Dr. Antoun. I am also disappointed in Dr. Bernstein as well. Both of them were negligent & careless.

I was moving to Australia and used Airport Cities Animal Hospital for a final vet check for export. They were extremely professional and caring of my dog. I would certainly go back if I wasn't leaving the country! Thanks!
