Petco Huntington Beach, California

Shopped in this store yesterday without a mask ( nowhere in orange county is requiring it) and I was asked to leave for not wearing one. I'll be moving my 4 animals to a new vet and will not be shopping at a petco again.

This is the best Petco! It is always so easy to find everything I need

I asked the person at the register that I needed assistance at the small animals dept. She requested for someone to assist me over the PA system. It took 2 calls on the PA system and almost 10 minutes before anyone came to assist me. I had searched the store for anyone to assist me before going to the register. No one to be found. The only person to assist anyone in the entire store was the person at the register. I will be returning only because you are close to my home.

This is a smaller, older store, but still has everything and very friendly staff.

I really like this Petco for toys and dog food. Very friendly people and great selections. However this review is more about the grooming. I had an appointment Friday morning at 815. I had to be late for work to drop my dog off, which I don’t mind doing. But, after getting there at 8:10 I was told to wait outside while it opened even though it opens at 8. I waited an extra 20 minutes and was never helped. I ended up leaving. Obviously very disappointing. Never want to wait when you have an appointment.

they always have what I need

The associate ( I believe her name was Olivia) that helped us with getting our first hamster was very knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly and we are very thankful she helped us out☺

We get our dogs groomed there often with Noelle. She is a miracle worker and my dogs love her. They don't like anyone. But they like her. She is the Dog Whisperer. And she is a wizard when it comes to grooming. I follow her wherever she goes.

I am baffled at continually shopping at Petco with my Rewards number and never, not ever, receiving any rewards. Ever. Strange. I am planning finally to shop at the local Mom and Pop pet store. Petco has also spent money in perplexing ways while never having anyone on the floor to assist or guide.

MASSIVE Petco location, with grooming salon, vet and every product you can imagine. Staff was friendly, parking easy and great for a quick trip!

i bought a 40 gallon aquarium and the staff helped the best way they could, that and the quality of the products i bought like new filters, and really soon i expect to go back to your store to buy new fish for my new tank! thank you. also the staff can be really nice and they are knowledgeable about the products they offer.

Location, price, adoption center, grooming salon, clean facility, knowledgeable and patient staff.

Fix your hours. You used to be open till 9. glad petsmart is.

Like the store.. needs a bit more customer service

For the most part, the associates are friendly and personable. There was one young lady who seemed to have no idea about any of the products or where they could be found, but the ones at the cash register are lovely, make the effort to remember me and my dog, and have a little chat while we complete our transaction. It's wonderful to have that personal experience in a corporate location. I also love our Thrive vet and the groomer - the staff at both places are very friendly and kind, and very accommodating. I feel comfortable taking my pets to them. I used to find Petco to be a depressing place, but my opinion has completely turned around, mostly because of my experiences with the staff at this location.

Good stock, convenient hours and location. Friendly staff.
