Took my 1st puppy here. Dr. Kramer is good . They do seem to care about their customers AND animals they take care of. They also took the time to explain to me all the details of her visit and didn't just rush me off! I highly recommend their wellness plan (about $50 a month)includes several important and needed things I will use for your animal.also go to Petsmart and purchase $20 "new puppy" coupon booklet which is well worth ir! It's already paid for and your money's worth with just 1 of the coupons which is free 1st wellness visit for your pet which I believe is $40 alone. Also included free bath, free 1-day doggie day care fun and much more! Petsmart is affiliated with banfield vet hospital.

I'm not had a horrible experience here they are caring did you communicate well and overall I'm very pleased with the service I would receiving them. I would say they tend to try to attack everything under the sun on so be proactive and make sure they are transparent about everything done to your pet there they probably charge you to pick you will dog up off the ground. Still great place, great doctors, great staff.

They took care of my pet when I walked in even though they are appointment only. Cat seemed as happy as a cat in a box can be when I picked him up. The doctor called and discussed his case with me. Twice note I've gotten good care here.

They need to open the hell back up for normal business dealings. Forced to go to a local Vet and pay 50% more just to get nail trimmings. Been will them 3.5 years

This is literally the best banfield location. Dr O’Connor and the vet techs here are amazing. They take great care of my Debra Ann (my fur baby). I’m so grateful for their continued excellent service even during Covid.

Great customer service, however getting an offensively high invoice of $119.04 for a simple Cytopoint injection because of the added $44.95 “Vet Tech Exam” and $25 for the “injection administration” because I don’t have a paid subscription plan is atrocious. Clearly I was offended and surprised at the invoice cost when I was being asked for payment over the phone even as I stood outside the door, though I watched as the previous 3 customers before me were all able to hand their card to the employee instead of having to read out the details over the phone. Considering: 1. The appointment I made over the phone wasn’t even in the system. And 2. I wasn’t offered an estimate before service nor told there would be an added service cost at any time... I asked what that vet tech exam entails, especially considering I did not authorize that fee, I was told it’s simply the cost of having an appointment and being seen at all since I don’t pay for their membership. So... No actual veterinarian consultation. There wasn’t even an actual “vet tech exam” that took place. $44.95 for my dog to be allowed in the door and $25 to give her a shot. The person who took my dog in, charged me and brought her out was very kind and personable. But dishonest business practices like this still get reported to the BBB. Thanks.

I love the flexibility I have with Banfield. I have moved across multiple states, all without needing to request records from the previous vet. I don’t need to keep paper files on my dogs, including immunization records. Everything is online in the event I need it. Banfield did a great and smart thing going nation wide.

The vet there cares so much for my dogs skin issues, I love that he remembers her. Also love that he recommended a dermatologist and other remedies for her?

I have been taking my elderly dog to this location for several years - we have gone through multiple illnesses and surgery with Dr. O'Connor. I have been calling for multiple days to discuss end of life planning for my baby with him, and each time have only been able to speak to a tech. When I spoke to the last tech I left a message requesting a direct call. I also left a voicemail and requested to speak to the Dr. himself rather than a tech. And what happens...I received yet another call-back from a tech that he was in the office, got my message, and asked her to return my call instead of himself. I am a physician and cannot even fathom asking my assistant to call a patient about sensitive and serious matters like this. It shows an utter and complete lack of professionalism to a dog and owner who he has been caring for for so long. If seeking a vet, look elsewhere and find someone with compassion.

This was my home vet when I lived in HB and loved it, but today when I tried to get a flea pill from there they told me I couldn't pick one up since my pet doesn't have a relationship with a vet there. Last May I went there to pick up a flea pill and had no issues. This place is not consistent. I liked Banfield since they have different locations and I am able to visit any, so I thought, but after this experience I am extremely disappointed.

Clean and staff is friendly, but way too salesy. They will try to upsell you with products and services your pet doesn't need. Felt like they were way more interested in my wallet then my pet.

Dr. O'Connor is the best vet ever. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. He and his staff treated my Riley with so much love on her last day with me.

Dr. Amini is the greatest vet ever! I scheduled an appointment with the Seal Beach location originally, because my cat had been vomiting for a few days, but when I got there, somehow the appointment had never been booked. Luckily one of the vets saw my distress and called the Huntington Beach location to see if my cat could be seen that day and they somehow found a way to see me despite a full schedule. Dr. Amini was super helpful in explaining everything and the tests that would be done. He helped me figure out what the most important tests were, to get the an answer for my cats symptoms, and said we could do further tests if needed, but they weren’t necessary right away. He didn’t make me feel rushed at any point, as I’ve had happen at different locations (out of state). He went above and beyond compared to other vets I’ve seen in the company, and I am so appreciative. I got the medication and food needed to fix my cats condition, and it’s comforting to know I have a doctor who I can contact who will really be able to help my cat, and give him the best care. My cat is almost 10 and I learned so much about him today that other vets have never given insight on. Thank you for making a stressful day as easy as possible for us! And the vet tech ladies who helped us today were super great as well! This will definitely be the location I bring my cat to for everything in the future.

ONLY reason I give this place 1 star is cause I have to and because of the coupons in the puppy book. EVERYTIME I come to banfield they try to keep finding reasons to take my money. And when I tell them NO I have everything else I need handled multiple times they still continue to sit in my face and say “if you don’t have the money I would save up and come back” like first of all. I have the money. But like I said over and over again I have it handled and taken care of. Then no matter how many times I told them his breed they still got it wrong on records. Never going back to banfield. Will continue to go somewhere else.

This location is great! We went here for an appointment when our normal location didn't have any openings and our experience made us decide to make this our permanent location! The staff is so friendly and loving towards our pet and us as well. They are fast but don't make you feel like you're being rushed. They even called us the day after our appointment to make sure our pet was doing okay!

Knowledgeable, professional staff with excellent communication; facility offers a variety of options for services and drop-off/pick-up. Lobby is clean, welcoming, and even has a section to entertain children.

Full service vet with a country wide network if you buy into the monthly plan for your pooch. It's decent service, lacks personal touch particularly for the price point. Feels very corporate. I'm still unsure if I should just go with VCA for both of my dogs. TIP: opt for the printed invoice since their "emailed invoice" is just a link to the app that will not give you a PDF version for your records.
