I've been here 2x in 2 days (different dogs) and they've been great. Everyone has been friendly, the wait sucks when you're a walk in but that's to be expected. The prices seem fair as well.

They saved my puppy from parvovirus. Very kind people that care about the animals! Highly recommended.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!!!! They cut my dog badly!!!!! And I could see that they were being rough with my dog, when he was not being bad nor has ever been bad!!! These people are so unprofessional and it is clear they do not care about animals! Do not take your pet here if you care about them, they mistreat them! Read the reviews and yelp reviews!!!!

To make an appointment is so ridiculous. They sound like they don't know and can't help me. Literally they placed me on hold multiple times. So annoying.

I’ve seen this place get as busy as they can get & they were still able to take my pet in, all the techs & receptionist are so well caring & try their best with what they do. Highly recommend amc

We lost 5 puppies out of a 7 puppy litter thanks to this place. My aunt and I took her dog, who was in labor for over 24 hours, to this vet for a c-section. The reception staff was lovely, but that doesn't make up for the fact the male vet there LAUGHED in our faces and told us our dog wasn't in labor, as she pushed right in front of him. Such terrible bedside manner and condescending attitude. Would no reccomend to anyone who vaules their pets lives.

If you value customer service this is not the place to go. I made an appointment and when I arrived myself and another customer stood there waiting for 15 min. When they came to help the other customer I waited another 15 min before just getting into a room. No one says hello how may I help you etc. A week later I call back to get test results and the receptionist was short in her response and made me feel like I was bothering them. I paid for the test so they should give me the results! It only makes sense. Well nothing they do makes sense and if I can avoid going there I would. Myself and my pet deserve better service as paying customers.

I had an appointment at 3pm. They called me to the back room with my pet and had me waiting for 30 minutes for the doctor. I had to ask the front desk twice if it was my turn yet. Still waited after that. The doctor came in checked her and just looked at her with a face of “I have no clue what’s wrong with her” and suggested X-rays & blood work worth $400. Such a waste of time for absolutely no answers what so ever.

The male nurses are awesome and will spend time trying to listen and explain issues, whereas the lazy, unprofessional and rude Dr.s act like they're far too valuable and important for us peasants. The receptionists try, but are really only there to answer phones and not help with the pets. If you don't have an appointment, even in the case of an emergency, go anywhere else because they will skip over you several times if you walk in. Very disappointing when I've brought several animals here over the years.

wasted my time here, thinking they’d help, and was told to go elsewhere because they were much too busy. we did call ahead too. sadly, our dog passed away as we headed towards another available clinic, much farther away. don’t advertise yourselves as capable of providing emergency services if you are not well-equipped or staffed for emergencies!

The only veterinarian in my area who made time for me when I had an emergency with my puppy. My 3 1/2 month old puppy ate something bad and needed surgery. I'm so grateful they saved his life. Thank you so much Animal Medical Center. ????????

I called asking about my dog and to put them down. They won’t put down a 1+ year old. My dog could be bleeding out and already half dead and they won’t put them down. They also had me on hold for about 7 minutes as my dog could’ve been in serious pain as a mom of a pup i could be in worries and they would leave me on read. They are also very rude.

If you love your pet DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS SCAM ARTIST. They are only interested in milking your wallet.

They seemed to really care about the wellbeing of my dog. It was so hard to leave her there overnight but the techs showed me they care about their job.

I, found a Puppy in horrible shape. I rescued him from the desert. I named him Duke. I drove him to this location randomly in desperate need. The Doctor and Staff are Compassionate, Kind and Heroes. They saved Duke's life! Please bring your loved ones here. Your pet will be loved, cared for and treated with dignity and respect in this doctors office. Amen to these people.... Please support this clinic with donations, this will help other animals with medical care and emergency care when owners have hardships. You will not regret getting care from Animal Medical Center in 15013 main Street Hesperia, CA 92345 I was a walk in and We had excellent service.

my baby rune was severely sick and lethargic, she struggled with breathing. it was heartbreaking seeing how much pain she was in, i had went to a previous vet and they denied entry twice because they said they didn’t have any room for her. this place was so much more reliable and comforting with my kitty. although we aren’t able to afford some of her needs, one of the employees donated $20 so she can get the care she needs. she’s been so much more energetic recently, she started eating again and her medication hasn’t even came into the mail yet. i’m so grateful for the caring people who worked here. they were the most reliable animal hospital in the high desert, very professional. i would provide more stars if i could. keep up the good work :)

I called this place 20 mins before I arrived they told me to come In I explained over the phone what my dog had they said no problem 60.00 for walk in. I get there they want to tell me we are not accepting no more walk ins how un professional they should’ve told me this over the phone…

I just wanted to thank the staff for helping our puppy .she went in this morning after having a reaction to something and they had her feeling all better by this evening . The staff helped ease our worried minds and now she is home back to her normal self . everyone was very friendly and helpful thank you!

Very happy with their service. They have never let us down all of our emergencies we have been to amc they saved our cat lb after it was attacked ,they helped ease our senior dog Fallons arthritis pain , our pup diamond when she got into something she shouldn't and helping with the cremation of our old dog gypsy after crossing the rainbow bridge and helping our cat mickey cross the rainbow bridge . I love the staff and we have never had a bad experience with them

Called ahead of time to take my dying dog to take test. Receptionist said i can go in as an emergency visit. When i showed up 20 mins later they said they couldn't see my dog because doctor was going to take an hour break. Absolutely unacceptable they waisted my time and could have told me over the phone they wouldn't be able to see him. Time was everything during this emergency if you love your pet dont take them here, there is way better vets in the area. Went to this location because they closed later than most & our original vet was closed at the time. Also receptionist are horrible doubt they even went to college!

I took my dog to get looked at because he was severely itchy for a few weeks and the vet said it was an allergy (without specifying from what). I even asked if it would be a possibility it was fleas, he said no because “we live in the heat.” The nurse gave my dog an allergy shot to only find out a week later IT WAS FLEAS THIS WHOLE TIME. My poor dog… Don’t waste your time at this vet, I wasn’t even in there 5 min before he was out the door.

Took my baby girl here when I had a scare with her. They took her in immediately and gave her the treatment she needed and held her for observation for the rest of the day. When I picked her up the staff that evening was also friendly and answered all my questions that I had.

Very poor quality diagnose the animal without even looking at it. Will never go back there again I love my animal more than that

This is the worst place to take your pet. vet wants me to do a bunch of test and make my dog to stay for days and he didn't even know what to say and I end up going home and my pet was getting better the next day when he told me that she was very sick and she wasn't gonna make it if you love your animals don't take them there

Not what they advertised, they are not a true walk in service. I signed in and waited about 30 minutes with my 2 dogs which was not easy with all the animals around and my 1 year old being a barker and scared the whole time, also no where to be without being on top of other people. Just so they would tell me they don't do vaccines as walk in's. All of that information was written down on the sheet for 30 minutes or longer that I was a walk in and they need vaccines. They could have gone over the list and told me a lot sooner to start, let alone who's to say it isn't urgent? If I don't get them vaccinated they won't be accepted into our new housing that we got short notice and have to be out of where we are by the end of this month. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I said it was deceiving and not clear that there were regulations to their walk in services on their website, it just said walk ins welcome. She responded with well you can make an appointment for june 2nd (a week away) and she said let me know if I wanted to make one and walked away. She was rude and dismissive and walked away before I could even explain that my situation is urgent. I do not reccomend this place for anything, if that is how they treat people I doubt there services have a higher standard.

I would give no stars!!! I'm saying from experience. if u love your pet DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!! AND NEVER GO WHEN PAIGE IS THERE WORST EVER!! We. Went to apple valley animal hospital was very happy!!! They will put a pet to sleep to just not deal with it!!

Really good vet ,she did a great job with dental surgery on my 12 year old dog with heart mummer and other vets wouldn't help. They were kind and answered all my questions. I Would bring my pets back here again.

Went into this clinic with a 24 hour old puppy who was not eating and very lethargic, after sitting there for 25 to 30 minutes bawling my eyes out and not one receptionist offered any emergency service, clients in the office gave up their appointment time, but still the hostess runs over and tells me this will be an emergency cost for you at $85 for the visit, I looked at her and said I really don’t care that’s what I’m here for and you didn’t even give me the option, needless to say they took the puppy back didn’t explain to me that it would probably be better for the puppy to just euthanize it instead one of the technicians carry that baby puppy in her pocket is what I was told when I returned for three hours then they called me to tell me oh your puppy is ready to pick up I get there pick up my puppy my puppy is worse off $550 later I’m driving home from Hesperia to Phelan only to watch this puppy die. I personally do not recommend this vet... they are out only for the money
