Got my new best friend right before Thanksgiving and start doing some at home training by myself. Had some small success but realized I needed professional help and reached out to some local dog trainers. Spoke with bag meet with over 5 …

Stacie is amazing! She has been working with me and my now 9 month old German Shepard mix. When she first came over Masha was 10 weeks old. She has taught me so much about my dog and how to train her so we both have better quality of life! Stacie is professional and has a sixth sense with dogs! I highly recommend her and my sweet Masha and I will continue to work with her!

I highly recommend Staci Holden if you are trying to decide on a trainer.., I have a 5 month old puppy and from she was with me from the time we picked it up and went to pet i and bought the things I needed.. when it was time to socialize my puppy Gizzmo I took him to the dog park but he attacked all of the dogs so when I told her she immediately went with me and she took Gizzmo in the park and had no problems come to find out it wasent my puppy it was me I was scared that one of the dogs would hurt him because he was so little.. WOW now we go a lot of places he plays well with all of the dogs and I’m doing really good.. we are now working on healing and him knowing his place in one night my puppy has improved so much it’s crazy we are going to have a beautiful long life togather when all of the training is complete I will never question her training methods again she is definitely a dog whisper LOL.. Thank you Staci for all you do.. Charlene

A couple of years ago I hired Rich to help me with a rescue that came with some issues at 3 months old. 3 years in and 2 Petsmart training sessions, she was getting better but still a concern off leash and with other dogs on leash. I was skeptical of the shock collar. Rich was amazing, and his training eventually allows you to wean off the collar. It seriously beefed up all the positive training we'd already done and made her WAY MORE responsive. Twice the collar and his training has saved her life from running way far away and potentially into the street after something of interest. Because of Rich we can continue our desert hikes off leash with a comfort level of keeping her safe and out of trouble. He's not there to coddle you or your dog- he's there to help protect your dog and others from potential harm. I would and have recommended him numerous times to others.

Seeing all these bad reviews really angers me, Rich was and is such a responsive and incredible training for our extremely rambunctious and destructive lab Bravo. Rich came to our home for weeks and when our one on one training wasn’t working because in all honesty we just didn’t have the time, work, kids etc. We sent our boy to his boarding training. Bravo came back a completely different dog. He knows all the basic commands and BEYOND. Our boy will not touch a piece of food that drops right in front of his face unless we tell him he can, he doesn’t enter the house or leave the house until we tell him to, he stays in “place” no matter what and stops barking immediately when told “quiet”. We wouldn’t have survive our dog if it weren’t for Rich. Can’t say enough good things. Sending my brother to him for his new German Shepard puppy!

I have had Rich dog train 3 of my dogs. In 2006 I had and Airedale about 1yr old and a Jack Russell about a year and a half old who would fight to the point of needing muzzles. Reached out to Rich and we were able to resolve the situation in the matter of bout 2 months. In 2010 I had him train my West Highland Terrier and he did a great job. I would highly recommend Rich.

Shameful excuse for a dog trainer. Shame on you for telling my desperate neighbor to re-home or euthanize her Germans shepherd that has been her family pet for six years. The dog had a fight last night with the other dog in the house. The dog has never shown aggressive in the past. Yes, she has small children. (Unfortunately the trainer that I’ve used in the past is closed today for the holidays.) So you were called out of desperation for immediate help what to do. It is disgusting that you told her that she should find another home for the dog or take it to be euthanized. If the dogs behavioral issues are over your head ... the right thing to do is refer her to another company or trainer that does specialize in aggressive dogs and can deal with dogs with behavioral issues you can’t . Never did I think I would hear a trainer tell someone to get rid of their dog or euthanize it. I have calmed her down and assured her the company that I have dealt with in the past will be able to help her with her dog once they are open tomorrow. I could not believe what I heard you just say and you have the nerve to call yourself a professional trainer. If you’re looking for a basic obedience trainer this might be the place for you... but if you’re looking for someone not interested in trying to fix a dog that desperately needs help, tells you to take your dog to the animal shelter to find a new home or take your pet to your vet to euthanize it this place is right for you. But I would not take my dog to a trainer that suggests dumping your family pet.

Rich came over for our free consultation, and after just 30 minutes of being with our super rambunctious 3 month old Saint Bernard, there was an immediate improvement in our pups behavior and response. We were very excited to start training with Rich, but we couldn't seem to get him to commit to a schedule. He claims that he had back spasms that prevented him from keeping his appointments with us, but it happened more often than we were comfortable with, so we decided against hiring him. It's a shame, but I wasn't feeling good about spending almost $800 on a trainer that we may never see.

Unfortunately I can’t speak for the work that this company does with the dogs they work with. I scheduled an in-house evaluation two separate times, and both times the trainer was unable to make it to our appointment. I feel bad for the situations that kept the trainer from making it, but I’m not sure I would pay money to a company that doesn’t follow through with initial arrangements. Dog training usually requires strict sessions; a solid routine to keep the dog on track. I’m not sure that this company could provide that.
