We love Barkingham Palace! Shannon is kind and patient with our dog who gets very nervous about getting groomed. We have been going here for years and couldn’t be happier!

I took my 14 year old shih tzu in for a “gentle” grooming (cut only, no wash or blow drying) and she did great! The owner met me at 7am and she was done in about 40 minutes. I appreciated the extra care with my senior baby and the cut was awesome! Highly recommend.

Love the look they give my dog. They do a great job and have a decent price. I have continued to go back.

Shannon did a wonderful job on our Maltese mix, Scamper. You can tell this person loves dogs and has a good way with them. Pricing is on par with other groomers in the area. The customer service was a bit above so Barkingham Palace will become our regular grooming place for our pets. Very happy with this place.

Phenomenal service. The staff really care about the comfort and hygiene of our pup. It was her first visit and left with her tail wagging!

10/10. Did such a great job with my mini poodle. He’s a rescue and was abused by a previous owner so I get nervous he will be unhappy and scared. When I picked him up, he was very happy and smelled great! They also really seem to care about the animals. Always using barkingham palace from now on. Thank you!!!

First time taking our girls here and was very pleased. They were able to get Roxy and Princess in at the last minute. My Lhasa Apso needed her summer cut and it was perfect! I’ll be back for sure! Fantastic prices and the staff was super friendly. Thank you again for doing such a great job!

Best place to go for dog grooming

I will NEVER bring my dogs to Barkingham Palace ever again. My husband dropped off our doodle (LuLu) and poodle/bichon mix (Molly) off this morning to be groomed. When he picked them up, the lady explained to my husband, Molly the (bichon/poodle mix) had knots on her ear which caused blood flow to be cut off (That wouldn’t cause my dogs ear to bleed even if it were true). My husband didn’t think to look at Molly’s ears after hearing this. As soon as I got home from school, I examined her ear and it appears my dog Molly’s ears have been cut, yes CUT. Dried blood, two cuts, etc on both ears. My dog, Molly has been under the bed since I have gotten home. If she made a mistake during her groom, the groomer should have been up front, NOT beat around the bush making up a story that doesn’t even add up, nor make sense. I am in medical school-you can’t make up a false story. Also, my husband and myself both brush Molly every day. Her ears also get examined because our doodle is prone to ear infections. They have *NEVER* had a problem. Molly is now constantly shaking her head every 5 seconds because her ears hurt from being cut with scissors or trimmers that should not have been used on such a small dog. I can’t imagine what Molly went through when I wasn’t there. BE AWARE of this place and take your pup elsewhere-HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Such a nice lady in there and my dog came out looking awesome. I think I paid like $50 which is nice for my little dog and the services she got. 10/10 would recommend.

Very accommodating and great customer service. They were able to squeeze our dog in last minute which we really appreciated. Took less than an hour and she came out happy and squeaky clean! We will definitely return.

My first time taking my 13 year old bichon to this groomer today. They took wonderful care of her. She looks beautiful and came home very content and not stressed out. Thank you ladies! I’ll never go anywhere else.

Shannon and her team do such a great job keeping our dogs looking AND smelling great. We have a large Labrador and shepherd mix and they do an amazing job with them. We’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and will continue to bring our boys here regularly.
