Animal Clinic West Harbor City, California

This was an awful experience. I was told to euthanize my dog after a 10 minute visit. The dr was very rushed & seemed to have no sympathy. I walked out of the office distraught as I was just told I should put my dog to sleep because there was no other option. I went and got a 2nd opinion & he basically has a heart murmur that is very treatable. I still have him by the way & is going GREAT!

The veterinarian is also a long-time vet, he served for 40 years. Please treat him and his staff with respect, just because they can take your stress doesnt mean they should. I got ripped off by another vet by the animal shelter, and I was so mad because my male cat had a bladder infection. I really thought all vets were just after people's money and my cat would die. This place and the service it provided was more than outstanding. I feel so grateful that they were here. Thank you.

Best place ever. The owners are so heartwarming and caring for animals. I feel like all other places overcharge you and jump into expensive procedures right away for anything. Not here they're pretty affordable and they explain everything to you properly. Not to mention they take great care of your pets!

The doctor and his wife/receptionist are so compassionate it is heart warming. In December and again last Saturday we had to euthanize family pets. Both were @ 14. Its an incredibly difficult decision. Given the age and diagnosis it was the right decision. We had used Affordable Pet Clinic. When new owners took over their procedures changed without regard to clients or emergencies. We has used this office as an alternative. They are now our Veterinarian of choice for all procedures and needs. I can't say enough.

Wow is all I can say. They turned a bad thing into a GREAT THING. My daughter's car had UI they taken action right away. They made us feel like family, you can see the compassion they had for our pet. I found a new vet for our kids.. I thank you all so much. I will be back..

Really enjoy Dr. Woodward and everyone. Always good with our pets, reasonably priced. Limited hours, but can be flexible.

best doctor ever! never taking my dogs anywhere else. he diagnosed my dog with a gut bacteria in less than a half hour! with tests and everything it was under $300!! it's not cheap but at least it's not extortion like most vets these days. very grateful ????

BEWARE DISTRAUGHT PET OWNERS!! KNOW WHAT YOURE PAYING FOR!!! Went to cremate my hamster and paid $175. They never asked if I wanted ashes back- which I did! Called weeks after to ask for update and was told that I ONLY paid for the cremation process and that I wasn’t going to get my ashes back!! Super unprofessional!! After asking for the phone number to the company to see if I could possibly pay extra to get ashes back the owner/ vet said that the possibility of me getting the phone number was as likely as getting his parents maiden names!! Both the secretary and vet were passive aggressive, rude, and were clearly not made to be in this industry. Shame on them

We have 4 cats and Dr. Woodward is great with them!! He is a good old fashioned vet. No nonsense, no fluff. Just gets to the matter quickly, handles kitties with ease. He has 50 years of experience!!!! Mrs. Woodward is so lovely and handles the phones, appointments and invoices. Sergio is also fabulous. Animal clinic West is the Cats Meow!!! Update, we now have 6 cats and we appreciate the loving care our kitties receive here. Thank you Animal Clinic West

Am very grateful to Dr Woodward and his fine staff for saving the life of my beloved pooch Freeway. Freeway had been refusing to eat and started having seizures. I called Animal Clinic West and spoke with Sergio, who told me to come right over. He then contacted Dr Woodward , who had left for the day, and he rushed back to the clinic to help us. After an IV , medications and vitamins, Freeway greatly improved. Appreciate Dr W’s expertise, kindness, reasonable fees, and his generous willingness to go the extra mile.

The Veterinarian and the staff are wonderful. My kitten and I had a great experience. They were very helpful.

This place is old school. No frills, just great honest, service. No "office fees, lab fees, etc." They were up front with me and reasonably priced.

I was very happy with the service here. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable compared to some other vets and I will definitely be returning here with my other pets. One thing I did like about this Clinic is that they didn't try to upsell me on anything extra. I will definitely be referring them to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you guys for the Great experience.

The people here are wonderful. They take their time with you and don't overcharge!

When I first met Dr Woodward he walked outside to examine my dog knowing I had limited funds.He recently did surgery on my other dog, saving her life.He is the best of the best along with his wife.I highly trust him and recommend him to all!

I ordered 43. 00 of mostly tacos didnt get any onion and cilantro and the special comes with chips and salsa didnt get that. Disappointed to say the least. If you go through the drive through make sure your order is correct.!!!

First time going.. based on a recommendation.. & I will be going back.. being an Army wife.. I appreciated talking with the owner.. who is a Vet.. & his wife.. awesome customer service & they provide you with their undivided attention from start to finish!!

Prices is fair & good. Hospitality is excellent, comforting. They educate & explain medical conditions of animals, understand certain medical situations. Email or call in for appointments, animal medical questions pet, sometimes it's best bring so they see it to examine it to evaluate of possible medical condition(s). Any question(s)? Took my DC oh to have her put to sleep after. 14 years of having her. Told the Dr. I wanted to be with her when he did it. He drug her by the leash into a back room put her to sleep unbeknownst to me. The tech then came and threw her on the table and said now you can see her. I couldn't believe it. The worst experience I have ever had at a vets office. I am heartbroken.

They Treated Us Like Family! I had a friend with a sick bearded dragon and I stopped by just to ask a question... The veterinarian Dr Woodward answered all my questions and was very helpful... I knew right away he was the vet for me. Today 4 months later, My wife, daughter and I brought our dog and an injured cat that belongs to my daughter to be seen. We just dropped in (No appointment) and they went right to work (The office manager politely hinted they would like an appointment - if possible) We really liked her a lot... But we waited no more than 5 mins. My dog (Max) needed a checkup, He hasn't been seen in a while because his other vet was just ripping us off. The cat (Cupid) needed surgery to close a wound on his leg. The price was fair and the service was exceptional. We are very pleased to have found our veterinarian!

They are great. So helpful and nice. Was able to get me in right away. Such a pleasure.
