Dr. Williams and staff have always treated us with respect and compassion. They really go above and beyond, they all know us by name now, and we can't imagine taking our pets anywhere else!! They saved my dogs life, and I will always have a special place in my heart for each and every person there. I also appreciate that they have reasonable rates.

I was overcharged for a health certificate for my dog to fly with me to Hawaii. They were not transparent about the cost. I was charged $295 just for the health certificate. ( he was up to date on all shots and his blood work) In addition to $55 new patient fee and $33 for the flee and tick medication for my dog. They took advantage and overcharged. Don’t go here for a health certificate to fly your dog to Hawaii or Mexico. The other vets in the area would charge $60 for the same health certificate as long as that is all you need. I finally got a return phone call today after I was told the manager would call me last Monday. But I had to call them. And now they have not called me back again when they said they would. Do not use this vet. The environment was not great either. When I came in for the appointment I was asked if I had the flee and tick medication required for him. That was the whole reason for the appointment?! Take you furry friend somewhere else more professional and transparent.

We love Dr. Grimm! She is currently helping get my senior cats health back on track. She is kind, patient, empathetic and very knowledgeable! All of the clinic staff are always welcoming, sweet and patient. ????

Our 15 month Labrador Retriever had been vomiting, not drinking water, and was becoming lethargic. It was Friday mid-morning when we decided she needed to be seen by a vet. We called our regular vet and was informed that they couldn't see her for almost 2 weeks! We called every vet in the Auburn area we could think of and not one could see our dog. We were finally referred to Brunswick Veterinary Clinic, called and explained what was going on and they were able to squeeze our girl in. We are beyond happy with the exceptional care that was given to our dog and the communication with us has been outstanding!! The clinic is suppose to close at 5pm and they stay until the last pet is picked up! We picked our girl up Friday at approximately 7pm and Dr. Williams called us that evening around 9pm to talk to us and Saturday morning they followed up with us again to make sure our girl was doing well, and then Sunday (Father's Day) Dr. Williams texted us to check on our girl...Wow is all I can say!! I do believe our two pups have found their new vet!! Thank you Dr. Williams and staff; you are AMAZING and we are so grateful to have found you!!

RUDEST, unprofessional, uneducated, uncaring receptionist staffing I have ever come across! Fast food workers have more empathy! Quit hiring your unemployed nieces!!!

Overbooked. Had no care or concern that it was 90° outside. The other person waiting when I got there had been waiting 30 minutes past his "appointment". I was basically scolded by the manager after I asked can I at least bring them in and drop them off where it's cool. She told me It's my fault because I didn't request that.

This clinic made space in the schedule right away to help my poor dog who got a stick stuck in her mouth (again), was miserable and could not eat. They took care of it very quickly and the staff were super nice. I'm so glad I found this place!!! They were doing covid-safe protocols so did not actually meet the Vet but really appreciate her helping us out. Highly recommend

Brunswick Veterinary Clinic is the Best vet ever! If you are looking for a vet who truly cares about your animal, look no further. Dr. Terra Williams puts her customers first every time. All of her office staff are amazing! I had taken my cat to Grass Valley Veterinary Hospital but, when my cat was having issues breathing the staff was so rude to me and did not care about us at all. They did not speak to the vet or try to fit us in. I was in tears worrying about Scruffy. When I called Brunswick Veterinary Clinic the office staff was so nice even though my cat was not one of their patients. They dropped what they were doing to talk to the vet and even though Dr. Williams was full for the day she offered to squeeze her in. I will always be greatfull for the simple fact that she cares about your animal as if it was her own. Thank you to the staff and the Dr. for helping me when my own vet would not.

I went to this vet for the first time today, as I am new to the area. I am so impressed with how well they did with my dog. They were really detailed and seemed very knowledgeable. The receptionists, tech, and veterinarian answered all my questions and made me feel validated in my concerns. Even though it was a bit after hours, they took a lot of time and care with my dog. The vet techs that were bringing the dogs to and from the cars were wonderful with the animals. I saw one of them even playing peekaboo behind a column with a cute puppy. It’s really nice, because I know they’re extremely busy but they still took time with everyone. My dog had also been sprayed by a skunk two days ago, and she still smelled like it despite bathing her numerous times. They were still really nice about it. The bill actually came out to be really inexpensive for a vet, which was really nice because moving has definitely been tough on my finances. I could not recommend this veterinarian more highly.

We were so happy to find out Brunswick Veterinary Clinic was open for business again! Our little dog, Ashley, is a rescue dog and has some issues with separation anxiety, among other things. The vets and assistants have always been very good with her. Although Ashley is not very fond of going to the vet, she has always received excellent care. Good job Brunswick Veterinary Clinic!

I had to rush my 10 month old male kitty, Claude, to the vet clinic in early February 2020. He is an outdoor kitty and he managed to tear open his entire belly. I brought him in and Dr. Tara W did a quick visit with him and assessed that he did indeed need some medical attention and gave me a brief description of what needed to be done (anesthesia, sutures, insert a drain, antibiotics, pain medication, and about 2 months of recovery time). Dr. Tara noticed that I was in distress (it was going to be an expensive procedure, also I am young and not very financially stable) so she asked me how much money I could afford spend. I gave her the highest dollar amount that I could (a measly $400) and she quickly came back with a quote that allowed Claude to get the medical attention he needed on a budget that I could afford. I was able to pick Claude up the same afternoon all stitched up and on the road to recovery. It has been 3 days since his incident and he is already back to eating and acting more like his normal self. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Tara W and all the wonderful ladies that work over at Brunswick Veterinary Clinic. They were all so kind and supportive throughout the entire process and took such good care of my sweet baby boy. I truly believe they saved his life and I will forever be grateful to them for that. This is the care you are looking for when your pet is in need of veterinary attention. I am going to start bringing my other 2 cats and my dog here as well!

Yay they have reopened their doors! Back to the previous owners Jay and Becca. It's good to have them back. Most of the same staff are back as well running the front desk. Always wonderful women at the front desk!

I've had 2 old goldens recently that needed to cross the rainbow bridge. All my goldens have been cared for at Brunswick. During this pandemic, brunswick vet treated us with compassion and such a high degree of care. They were honest and didn't try to get us to spend unnecessary funds when the outcome would not have changed.

This veterinarian is eager to listen to what you think about your pet and very eager to save you all the money he possibly can. He gives you lots of options and helps you choose what might work best for you. I can't say enough good things about him. Give him a try

This vet hits all marks. Appointments are quick and easy to set, and have always been on time when I arrive. Other vets had me waiting hours sometimes even with an appointment but not here. The staff are super friendly and on a return visit removed a wound drain in just a couple minutes. No charge, when they easily could have charged me something. This is my top choice for vet care in GV.

I recently had to put my elderly cat to sleep. Despite COVID-19 restrictions, Brunswick Vet in Grass Valley allowed me inside the clinic, so that I could hold my kitty until the very end. They don’t allow pet owners into the clinic for exams, but in the case of euthanasia, they make an exception. I was very impressed with the kindness of the staff & vet. They took us 20 minutes before closing & I didn’t leave until 90 minutes after they had formally closed. Yet, I never felt rushed. Their fees didn’t seem out of line either. I would definitely recommend them.
