Dr. Mario is terrific. Always explains things clearly and always focused on what is best for the animal.

Great prices but horrible wait times. Also watched 3 people leave today in anger and after 2 hours waiting and being skipped for emergency pets (I watched a dog that was not an emergency, just needed a iron test to see if his medicine worked, cut the line because the two rudest people I’ve ever met were in charge of the signup list. A list that I had to bring to the front because they just left it somewhere and no one could find it. Some of the people there should not get to work at such a beautiful establishment. They were so mean to the customers, it’s shocking they somehow have kept their jobs at this place because the doctors are great, it’s beautiful and the prices rock but those two made the wait time horrible. They were essentially punishing people who asked about their time. They also couldn’t tell you what the wait time might be after 2 hours. Ridiculous.

I Love Mother Lode! There's a reason why they are so busy! Vets and staff are very caring.

Great help at an affordable price. I don't want to get all gooy, but they saved, and prolonged our little loves life. I highly recommend them, JB

Fabulous care for your furbabies!

They literally saved our precious puppy's life two days ago.

Dr. Natalie was incredible! We had to put our boy down and she made it as painless as possible. I was able to hold him until he was gone. Then a tech helped me out to my car. I will be taking his litter mate sister in a couple of weeks and have her checked over. She continues to grieve. Very sad.

Long wait after in the exam room but otherwise A+

Very very busy but very very very compassionate

Getting a Dr. Apointment is a better chance winning the lottery. And when I did week I had to sall as soon as it opened. Busy busy 9 min. Then the "urgent" next day was taken. The x ray to put the dog to sleep was quoted one price. But my bill showed a much higher price from the vet. I like the vet. But not the charges I came out with. And not much he could do. Then today I make a Apointment...the dog shots on himself and pees. His back legs are out. Best I get is the 31st of Auguest. Nice. What happen to the vets now?? So disappointing.

I sadly had to have the best dog ever put down here yesterday. They were so caring and understanding. Dr. Mario was the best. We had taken her to marqueens the day before and they were only about the money and made sure you paid before they started anything. When we brought her to motherload they brought her right in within 2 minutes of waiting in the parking lot unlike marqueens where we waited for 3:30 hours for our dying dog to be seen. I am definitely switching all of our animals to motherload from now on ❤️

They were very caring, helpful and fit us in at the last minute when no one else would take us. Love the Dr.'s and the staff. This will be my vet of choice for all my animals now.

Been taking my dogs here for many years. This weekend they saved my dog with an emergency Splenectomy on a Sat, at the end of the day, when they were busy. My husband and I were both K9 officers and have had experience with a lot of veterinarians over the years all over CA and Motherlode is by far the best Vet Hospital we have ever been to. All the vets and staff are top notch, really care about your animal and dont charge you outrageous prices. Cant say enough nice things about them. They are amazing.

I am so pleased with the care and compassion the doctors and staff show my 2 little dogs. They are extremely thorough in their exams and treatments. I have recommended them to many of my friends and neighbors.

Mother Lode got my puppy in right away even though they were so busy. Took care of the abscess by draining it and giving us meds. So caring and so loving even when they were so very busy. Cannot say enough about this wonderful hospital.

They are knowledgeable, compassionate and very real. When my 18 year old suddenly fell ill, they were kind and let me know gently, that he didn't have much longer to live. I appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to keep me bringing him in for time and money wasting treatments. They were right. He passed shortly after. Then they cremated my Mr. Kittles and returned him to me in a lovely cedar box.

Doctor Molly was very kind and considerate. She cared had great compassion even though we just met that day. I had taken my Coal in for dental surgery and she found a tumor in his throat so we had to put him to sleep. Everyone was very kind.

Bonney and Jaxson as well as my cat Nizcha are getting established at Mother Lode and I'm quite excited. I'm at the latest of a family that has been with this hospital for a long time... My mom's dog Max was the first to be seen by a Mother Lode doctor and she always talks about how sweet the staff was with him. And I can agree. Very lucky to have these resources.

Always very busy but there's a reason. They are very good at what they do and genuinely care about your family member. Careful diagnosis pinpoints the issues correctly. Definitely recomend.

My dog had been ill for almost 2 years, no improvement. Took her to Motherboard and they knew immediately. She is my luv, 14yrs old and has been treated the past year for Cushings Disease.

These vets are great and reasonably priced.

My dog had a very standard knee surgery and though I’m not a worrier, I love this dumb dog so much that I just kept thinking he must have done something to mess up the pins put in his knee because he jumps off the couch and slides out on the wood floor. I called two times to for reassurance- which I got. But on the 3rd call, they asked me to bring him in to get checked out. He’s fine. He’s healing right on schedule. But, the fact that they never made me feel silly or paranoid and didn’t talk down to me even when I was clearly worried about nothing. They took as good care of me as they did of my dog. The best.

When I had to euthanize my dog, they made us feel at ease
