I give them 5 stars! My dog “ Thanful “. Gets so excited to go get groomed! His first time he fell asleep while being groomed!

$5 for my dogs toe nails clipped with no wait time and my dog usually struggles with people clipping her nails and she didn’t even flinch.

I took my Golden Retriever in for a scissor cut feather and trim, and 6 1/2 hours I picked up an unevenly shaved dog. I chose to go to GB groomers because I had taken three of my other goldens there in years past to be groomed by Sherri, and she had always done a great job. I stopped by in person on a Friday afternoon and learned Sherri no longer worked there. I spoke to another groomer and told her my dog had a thick, beautiful coat, but that had gotten too long and shaggy over the past year, and it matted easily from daily trips to the lake. I didn't want to shave him and she suggested she could do a blended scissor cut feather and trim on him. I agreed and dropped him off as planned at 9:00 Monday. The groomer I had spoken with wasn't there and a different person signed us in. She asked what we wanted done and I repeated that he was to get a scissor cut feather and trim (verbatim). She asked if I wanted him trimmed on his back, too, which I thought was an odd question, and I said I guess so if necessary. Well, he was there almost all day, and when I finally ready I picked him up at 2:30, I could barely recognize him. He was shaven down to 1" and his beautiful coat was now shaved choppy and unevenly. Even the ears were not trimmed evenly. He looks terrible and I was stunned! When I asked why she had shaved him instead of what we agreed to, she said the woman who checked us in told her that was what I wanted. She didn't bother to call to double check. I will never take my dog there again. The communications were poor, and the results were extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I had already written out a check which included a $20 tip and left it before I saw him (they don't accept cards). I regret paying them anything after this bad experience. If you are taking your dog there for the first time or using a different groomer, make sure you double and triple confirm what you want done. Don't assume anything.

my two cats arent a fan of the drive over but once they've had their spa day here they're much more relaxed. i have a long hair calico and a short hair tabby, we always receive excellent service from the staff and my calico comes back with a very fresh and silky coat. both of my cats are special needs and the groomers here are excellent and trustworthy.

Dropped my Bostie Puppy off for her first groom. She came out sparkling and excited to be pretty. They took their time with her so that she was as comfortable as possible with the new noises and experience. Would definitely recommend.

I work next to this dog groomer and I watch dogs and an occasional cat go in and out all day long. 9 out of 10 times the dogs are so happy to go in and all look beautiful when they come out.

I dropped my small dog off in the morning and despite having an appointment he was not ready when I came to pick him up about five hours later. They quickly finished him up, but he is only half groomed. One side is as long as it was when he dropped him off and I had to remove additional mats in his fur when I got home. When I called to check on him half way through, they did not recognize his name and asked me who was supposed to be grooming him. Very disappointed that I paid $50 to pick up a half done trembling dog.

Great I always take my dogs to get there nails clipped there. Only takes about 2 minutes and it's only $5 what a great deal!! Highly recommend!

Walked out from appointment wouldn't leave my dog, These people where helpless with little knowledge of our dog. Very unhelpful low level of trust. Had to wait half hour for groomer to show up to work. Went down the street and had a wonderful experience with another company.

Great place, they do a amazing job and are fair priced. Be sure to make an appointment tho they do get booked up quickly.

The women who dealt with my whole transaction was rude and very unprofessional. She didn’t give me a pick up time and when I called she said you didn’t ask for one in a rude voice just basically giving me an attitude the whole time. Will never take my dogs again.

Excellent service and Jan was great with my two cats. I will bring them every month for their nail service.

We moved to Granite Bay recently and had know idea who was going to groom our Yorkie and Beweir. I decided to take a chance on Granite Bay Groomers and they did not disappoint. They do a good job and the price is within reason. We have now added a Labradoodle to the party. We will be bringing all three of them in tomorrow before the heat wave hits.

I have been going to Granite Bay Pet Grooming since the early 90's and have always been pleased with the care of dogs and cat as well. Our current little dog is so happy to go to "Janice's"! All the doggies, big and little--kitties too seem happy as well. Through all the years, the care and attention has remained consistently superior.
