I’m so confused at their name it states Banfield pet hospital and there hours are Mon-Sat from 8am-6pm I’m writing this on a 1/15/22 and it’s currently 8:52am I have been calling at exactly 8am and there still closed my dog is sick it’s urgent I’ve called every other clinic and hospitals and they all give me the run around what the hell are we pet owners suppose to do when our dogs need medical care it’s so sad myself being in the medical field would never treat ANY patient like this. I’ve been up since 6am yesterday my went to work came home and my dogs accident happened at 3am this morning and I’ve been up calling every place even drove to when and no one bothered coming out after I even called and explained what happened they said it was critical and too bring my dog in BUT NO ONE GIVES A DAM. It’s 9:13am and I’ve called more then 10 times that’s how desperate I am and their still closed but there website hours state they open 8am I’m so dam confused.

Trying to help my sick and dying elderly cat cross that rainbow bridge. They couldn't be bothered to spare 5 minutes to end his suffering.

I made a huge mistake signing up for a plan. First, they never explained that there is an annual commitment. They never even give you a copy of any agreement. Second, I pay every month but cannot even get an appointment during emergencies. On top of that, they leave the poor dogs in cages all day only to wait until the end of the day to check them. Every time I took my dog to the facility, he would be traumatized. I wish I never wasted a dime on this place. I do not recommend it at all.

The service here is worse than at DMV. It’s impossible to get a hold of anybody at this location.

DON'T COME TO THIS PLACE! All they want is your money! They charged us over $500 for a health certificate while it costs less than $200 in other places

Staffs are Amazing No Matter what time of the Day. Kudos to DR. BaRLANDs Team & Dr CHAO! You Guys stay That way..Its Not too often you Find a place now with Smiles... Keep Strong. Thank You For Yöur Service!!!~ Tai-tai ????. You may be understaffed most of the time but they still get to manage to smile and Courteous and keeping it together despite some impatient patients. Thank you for your hard work and empathy.

Get employees that have some employees that have phone personality. Geez tried to get some information and who ever answered seemed like they couldn't be bothered. Because the person did not make feel welcomed or even nice why would I even try to bring my dog there?

Took my cat here and the receptionist was so kind and friendly. The check up finished after 2 hrs and compared to other locations, it is really fast considering they had emergency cases that time. This branch did not make it hard for us to get some prescribed meds too for our dog from other clinics of Banfield. I remember other locations demmanded that we get our dog checked and pay a lot of money just to get tick and flea medication thats prescribed already. If I could rate this location higher, i would.

I've never really had a problem with Banfield until now. Our dog needed to have surgery and there was a test that they suggested and we told them we didn't want that done. His surgery had to be rescheduled and they ended up doing the test anyway even though we told them we didn't want it done. They charged us for the test that we told them we didn't want about $200. Not once did they ask us if we changed our minds and would like to have it done. We thought we were all on the same page and that everything was good. But apparently they went back to the original page and disregarded everything that we wanted. They admit that the notes are on the account to not have this done and even STILL went through with it because "sometimes patients change their mind".They refuse to refund us even though the fault was on them. We were told the lab wouldn't give them a refund which is completely understandable since the lab had already done the work. However we aren't asking the lab we're asking benfield for a refund. Since they insisted on doing it even though we ask them not to they should be the ones to foot the bill. They didn't do anything to fix the situation the reasoning they gave was completely ridiculous. We aren't able to cancel the current wellness plan we're on. But once it is finished we've already started looking into other plans and other vets and will no longer be coming to Banfield Glendale.

I have been bringing my pet here for 3 years and all the staff has always been polite and responsive to my concerns. I can't recommend this particular hospital enough and it's the staff. I appreciate all the hard work they always do for my pet. They have been super busy and it is harder to get a hold of them since pandemic started because they have been short staffed for a few months. But they do always end up returning calls.

Do NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE. There are enough one star reviews on here to give you stomach cramps. Find a real vet, your pets will thank you.

Took my pets there for the first time a few days ago. Since I kind of switching clinics it was kind of confusing for me the way they work there. But so far the treatment towards me was excellent and the same for my furry babies. We'll see what happens later on because I certainly hope to go for another visit. Only thing I found disappointing was that they don't have a grooming service there, meaning that I will still make visits to the old clinic to get that done until I find a place were they can do everything in the same place... unless they decide to add the service there in the future...it would be fantastic. Other than that the ladies and doctors there are very friendly.

The worst thing about this place is they seemed understaffed. There is usually just one person at the desk answering phones and handling in person appointments. This poor person always looks stressed. Never had any major issues but it is very expensive- then again most vet clinics are. They do try to upsell a lot. When trying to diagnose a symptom it's like a big guessing game. You will always walk out with about 5 tests you didn't need. I paid for an x ray and the doctor showed me the x ray from a picture on her phone. For something that cost a few hundred dollars you would think it would be a little more professional. Plus she couldn't really give any in depth diagnosis. Again, big guessing game.

I called in prior to bringing my dog Rosie in to chat with a vet and see if they thought her symptoms required a visit. Over the phone she told me she would love to see Rosie and from the few symptoms I gave she knew what tests she would run. I brought Rosie in and sure enough Rosie had what the vet tested for. I have Rosie signed up on the puppy plan so I only had to pay for 1 of the 2 tests that were run as well as her medication. Thank you for taking such good care of Rosie!

My dog arrived at 9:00 for a follow-up appointment and was not seen by a doctor until about 4:00 pm. That's too long for my dog to sit in a crate. The doctor was in surgery all day, I just wish they could of told me that from the get go. The staff is friendly though.

Two of my dogs were well cared by kind staffs. Recently they were neutered and before that they had allergy issues. Both times the doctor explained what their conditions were in a very concise and informative manner. Every staff member I met was extremely nice and helpful.

I’m really happy with the treatment my dog received here. The doctor came up with an effective treatment plan and they did not do anything unnecessary or overcharge me. The receptionists were thorough and friendly. It was very clean and they were following COVID protocols (but still allowing clients inside which was great). I would definitely come here again for the treatment of my precious fur baby!!

Customers were backed up. The person doing intake messed up everything and my dog was given the wrong vaccine. This is the second and final time I've had issues with their intake/register person. Last visit my credit card was charged twice for my dog being spayed. I won't be going back.

Never go here! To any location around the U.S They will scam you with a wellness plan. They don't give out proper info. Very misleading. Unprofessional behaviour.
