Got in on a Saturday when my dog suddenly became ill. Very nice doctor and staff. Glad this is now our vet hospital in Gilroy!

Got rabies shot for our German Shepherd so we could renew dog license. They now allow one human with animal inside.

They got me an appt as soon as possible. That was nice, but they haven’t called me back in regards to scheduling another appt

Took my dog to get spayed a few years ago and it was insanely expensive and when I noticed my dog incision was extremely swollen, red and hard I called and no one answered . Being the concerned pet parent and unaware if this was normal i went to their office and the staff was not helpful at all , she had no knowledge and couldn’t answer any of my basic questions and didn’t know how to help,when she asked the vet all he said was “it’s fine” and didn’t bother quickly looking at her ! CARELESS. Took her to San Martin VCA and they’re amazing !

I've been taking my dog here since my dog was 8 weeks, he is now 10 years old. Dr. Harrigan and Dr. Hoyt are both fantastic. Dr. Harrigan saved my dogs life a few years ago and I will always be grateful. I highly recommend Gilroy Veterinary Hospital.

I'm giving them 2 stars for seeing our puppy right away and give him the test he needed, but they prescribed him a medication for diarrhea and it gave him head tremors. Our lab puppy was 3 months old and shouldn't have been given this medication because he was so young. He could have gotten very sick. Hopefully he will be ok soon.

I have been going to Gilroy veterinary hospital since 2007 When doctor Martinez was their I would drive from Prunedale times have changed doctor Martinez is no longer there and neither is the quality and caring service I have become accustomed to My Kota has been diagnosed with cancer they just wanted my money nobody gave me any information what are my options what do I do now but they have my money.koda is doing well I took her to The animal cancer center in Monterrey thank you to Dr. Arteaga and her staff they Squeezed her in And spent 3 hours with her to determine that she did not have cancer She had a cyst Dr. Arteaga sent us to Monterey peninsula vet Emerg & spec ctr Where they perform surgery late Friday night thank you so much for being there for us

I left the vet wondering why my bill was so high if I only when in for vaccines??... so i called the clinic and asked the same question. I was informed that if your dog has not been to the vet in the past two months they charge a Vet visit (whose dog goes to the vet every two months?) as i told the girl that sounded ridiculous she came back with the classic line "I dont make the rules I just work here" as i tried to move on and ask her to have someone who i can express these concerns to she hung up. Moral of the story "where there is a bad seed there are others among them". Just so you get a perspective as to why I am so concern the VET visit is $62.12 including the two vaccines my bill was $116.33. Needless to say we wont be returning, I hope this helps others when making your decision in selecting a VET for your precious fur baby.
