Princevalle Pet Hospital Gilroy, California

I called this hospital to check in my dog and they said they had removed my name from their list since it’s been a while I haven’t checked in with them - what a shame? Hospitals like these should close as they just work off of money and nothing else. I had an emergency situation and they just denied to take me in

We have been bringing our dogs here for over 15 years. We have lost some from old age and its some of the hardest times to go through. They were so patient with us and let us take our time to say goodbye. We have always felt that they truly do care for our little family members and we appreciate it.

I had been taking my dogs to Princevalle Pet Hospital to for over 3 years, and today I received a terrible customer service by the office manager, Sandra. For being a long standing customer, I feel that I should had not been treated in the matter she did, and to have them put my dog in neglect in her care. Sandra was extremely rude and incompetent to me when I called today in regards my dogs refill medication, and she did not care to even listen about my concerns or questions, and basically just hung up on me twice. I have transferred my dogs care to PetsVet Veterinary in Gilroy. I do not want to deal with Princevalle Pet Hospital, ever again. I would not recommend this place for beloved pets for any care at this facility, think twice before taking your pet there.

I have three dogs that they have been seeing for over 5 years. Last year one dog broke its leg. They were short on staff during covid and could not see him for three months! This year I call with a dog that won't eat, and because they have not seen my dogs in over a year I am now a new customer and they are not taking any new customers. Unbelievable!!!!!! Is that what vets have become?

Called to make an appointment for my pet, I was immediately turned down before I can mention anything and was lectured on how no vet will take new customers at this time. First time calling this place and definitely the last.

The staff is kind to my senior dog who gets nervous around people. Dr Fitzgerald even goes out of the way to recommend the best treatment plans that fit my budget. However, the clinic is bad about keeping to schedule. It's almost pointless calling ahead to schedule an appointment because we wait over 15-30 minutes after the appointment should start before being seen. One time we were sitting there an hour before the vet saw us, and not one member of the staff checked in or apologized for the inconvenience. Right now I've been on hold over 10 minutes trying to call and ask about my dog's bloodwork. All of this displays a lack of organization and professionalism on their part. It sucks because they're one of the few veterinary clinics in town and they have overall fantastic veterinary care, but... It doesn't take much to acknowledge the client by stating you're running behind schedule and apologize for it. That's basic customer service! Just know that of you try to schedule an appointment with this clinic to do it on a day that you're off or don't have work planned the rest of that day.

Dr. Colbert and the staff took great care of my little white mouse, Emma, when she got her tail caught in her exercise wheel. Everyone there fell in love with Emma and could not stop talking about how much having her there for the day made their whole week. Finding someone who cares for exotic pets and does it well is not easy. I will be taking all of my little ones there to see Dr. Colbert knowing she takes excellent care of them and the whole staff love them like their own.

The Veterinarian's here are very caring and the Vet technicians are also very caring. The only thing I do not like about this facility is they don't have an on-site ultrasound machine. It has to be scheduled out which is ridiculous! Had to take my dog to the emergency room for an ultrasound which ended up costing me double

I appreciate that they were able to work in my dog who is not a regular client of theirs while visiting family. Most of the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, and overall treatment was more than sufficient for him. It would be 5 stars but I had my own reservations on a few sentiments that were made, though nothing that would keep me from recommending them in a bind.

Dr Fisher is so wonderful veterinarian and your stuff always professional and friendly. Well done. I drive from Los Gatos to Gilroy just to go to this veterinarian.

I love this place! They take excellent care of my cat. You can also tell that they truly care about the animals and the owners. When my dog had to be put to sleep they helped me carry her in and the tech gave me a hug when I started crying. The people here really care :)

They are Great!! They love and hug and hold your dog even if he's stinky like my brothers stinky smelly ranch dog, Fat boy was that day. Love the place!

I took my cat in that had broke his leg, they took such great care of him. His leg is now healed and doing great. Great doctor and great service, I would recommend them to anyone.

I bring all my pet to this clinic. All the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and have become family to us. I have been bringing my dogs for over 15 years. Dr . Fitzgerald is the best .

The best. I wouldn't take my fuzzy children anywhere else. I trust Dr. Fischer completely.

Great staff! By far best vet around. Dr. Fitzgerald even took the time to call and check on our cat yesterday evening a couple days after her testing. She is amazing. Highly recommend this facility.

Everyone is friendly, love the animals, and genuinely care about them. They go the extra mile. I highly recommend them.

Keeping my dog happy and healthy!

I go to this vet because they are one of the few in the area that handles birds. The vets and techs here are very friendly but I pretty much always end up waiting for 15 to 20 minutes for my appointment. I don't know why they have such a hard time keeping to their appointment schedule.

Recently remodeled to have separate buildings for cats and dogs, noticeably keeps the pets more comfortable. Staff are great with cats, gentle and respectful.
