Found this puppy Nov 24th in garden Grove , then researched and found this ad posted 4 days prior to finding the puppy someone else had found it in mission Viejo area turned it in. seems suspicious (possibly no owner ) or owner is just abandoning it trying to get rid of her . So she pops up in my door and we give a place for the night then we go to this hospital to get her checked out and explain these concerns , TERRIBLE PEOPLE !! They dont want to hear me out they just trying to take the dog and send me off ??? (THEY TRY AND KEEP ANIMALS FROM MY SUSPICIONS) , it's a stray and brought it in with good intentions to get her home , the place is full of people they take the dog back and I asked them politely to give a quick second to bring my 5 year old son in just to say good bye (kid emotional) (it's ok) now they were absolutely so rude about the situation the kids crying next me Infront of everyone just asking for the simple request for my son to say good bye to the pup and they were heartless people !!! They said no to us refusing this simple heart felt request my son was breaking down and I wish to thank the people in the lobby for also supporting in the request that the 5 year old gets to give his well wishes IF IT Wasn't FOR EVERYONE INFLUENCING THE STAFF THEY COULD HAVE CARED LESS !! over all I can tell this is a terrible place with terrible people I personally WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST TAKING YOU'RE PET SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT KIDS THEY DEFINITELY DONT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS !!!

Took my cat beans here would never do so again told me my cat was “too aggressive” and was never examined because of that (my cat has never been aggressive in its year of life) they then came out and charged me an extremely high bill even though they didn’t even examine my cat which is what the doctor told me and then someone else came back and tried to lie to me when the doctor clearly told me they hadn’t even touched him because he was “aggressive” it’s an awful place went to another place the next morning they told me he was the sweetest boy and didn’t understand why they put that on his paper work and knew they had probably hurt him or did something to hurt him I would never trust this place with my cat again or any other animal for that matter it’s a scam

I'm feeling heartbroken and scared reading all these horrible reviews. My English bulldog was perfectly fine last night, playing and eating. This morning he woke up with dry heaves and wouldn't eat. He was quickly diagnosed with Parvo. He will be kept until Monday morning. I am mortified after all the research I've done but am hopeful because of how fast it was diagnosed at the OCEPH. A call later in the day was greatly appreciated.

You pay for what you get, a breath of fresh air to know your pet is in good hands.

Arrived at 7:58 AM on Sat. No one there to help us. Our dog died as a result. Called at noon on Sat and they of course said someone was there but they also said they wouldn't have been able to help us since the vets all leave at 8 AM. How is this emergency service?

Please as a pet owner and as clinic employees and doctors don’t release a sick pet back to the owner my baby passed away 3 hrs later after being released. I wished I would’ve done a million things differently to save his life. The picture below was my baby Tyson the westie 6 hrs before passing away my heart is broken and it’s easy to say now only if I would’ve known the severity of his condition. Please anyone faced with a similar situation ~ If they recommend blood ???? work X-rays or whatever and if you have the money just do it trust me this F pain is not worth it. God I will give anything to go back and fix all my mistakes I love you Tyson and I will miss you forever. Silvestre family & Sanchez family ????

I came here on June 27th my frenchie came in for emergency csection due to her going to labor and puppy getting stuck, it's sad that they make your pet wait for so long before even helped instead they BILL you make you wait before doctor comes inn and let's you know they are performing a csection (already about 30 mins inn there waiting) my poor frenchie in the back just waiting by herself with a stuck puppy , we had ultrasound confirmed 4 puppies i didn't have ultrasound on me at that moment inside the emergency, doctor send me home for them to perform csection about hour later get a call stating that csection was done and had only pulled 2 dead puppies but mom was great so I went soon as I can to pick her up and when I had gotten there I had asked I wanted to confirm 2 puppies had died but they wouldn't let me then I had brought up where are my other 2 puppies they took a minute to response to tell me ultrasound must of been wrong only 2 where inside mom and still wouldn't let me confirm other puppies death I came home to find ultrasound sound to show n confirm on 4 pups in pregnancy due to there open schedule I been getting the run around and had the other worker there tell me they leave notes to doctors to help my issue about missing puppies I been calling no answer always goes to voicemail that they don't respond to HORRIBLE PLACES I just want honest answers looking into you reviews seem like you don't care about anything but your money and if you guys are keeping puppies that ain't right I'm already reporting this place to the VSB save you time your pets your money don't ever come here

I came here with my cat who had swelling in his arm. I was greeted immediately and after taking down some details they rushed my cat to the back and they asked me to wait in the car due to Covid reasons and they would call me and I informed them that my phone was dead and I did not have a charger and the receptionist was very friendly and even allowed me to charge my phone at her receptionist station. I was called in within 15 minutes to discuss what was wrong with my cat and my options as well as pricing. I am very impressed by the clinic and staff and will definitely be back to this Location in the event of an emergency.

DO NOT GO HERE. I took my dog here and had to wait 2 hours for her to be looked at by a vet. After another 2 hours they call me talking about the bill. They said they would start working on my dog after I paid them in full. That means they had my dog and did nothing for her for 4 hours. I finally got my dog back after 5 hours and am now stuck with an expensive bill. I noticed that I was not the only one experiencing similar problems with this place. The people are unprofessional and work very slow which is upsetting because I only came here because it was an emergency. IF ITS LIFE OR DEATH YOUR PET WILL PROBABLY DIE. I never post bad reviews but this place is terrible.

They don’t see exotics but they are the closest emergency vet near us and were able to help both our guinea pigs pass peacefully and quickly when each of their times came. I appreciate their expedience and kindness, especially with how busy and short-staffed veterinary hospitals are right now.

I am thankful Jamie put my mind at ease Via the Phone . And has the Medicine that was recommended by a Dr. That only Communicates with me Via Text and won't respond by Phone and keeps telling me bad news about my Fur baby each day . Quick to take hundreds from me & won't give me documentation of what test she did nor give me paperwork on what she diagnosed him With????. Said she needs to get a second opinion on what she thinks is showing on his Xrays . She must be waiting to hurt me more with the worse news last. And try and keep collecting money from me . While My Fur Baby is in Chronic Pain and I suffered a Anxiety Attack at Cottonwood Vet in Los Alamitos. They did not show one ounce of concern .. walked out while I was crying

Terrible Service! DO NOT GO HERE! They had my dog for 8 hours and after a 600 dollar bill did not treat my dog, mis diagnosed my dog, and were not responsive to our requests. I am seeking a charge back from this company and if this not resolved I will be reporting to the BBB.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, MY DOG WAS HERE FOR 8 HOURS 669 DOLLAR BILL, AND THE DIDN'T ADMINISTER ANY MEDICATION TO MY VERY ILL DOG. Our pets are our family and its very scary time to have to wait outside for your pet to be seen. I came here as a last result, having seen some of the reviews but my Ginger needed to be seen. I asked what the charges were for and the lady didn't know, they lady who did know was on the phone and couldn't talk to me at the time, I am literally still waiting for a call back from this facility. When you question what was done, or why no medication was given they have no response, but very quick to demand their $$. AWFUL PLACE !!! Save your money, time, and pet car for literally anywhere else!

Words cannot explain my gratitude of their care towards my dog Meatball. They were clear, concise, and straight to the point (did not try and take advantage of me with any unnecessary procedures $$$); all the while being compassionate towards me.

Though the reason we went was very grief, the vets at this clinic were very helpful, very responsive, and honest. They didn't sugarcoat the words they said, they didn't take forever to update us on what was happening with Buddy, they even let us say goodbye. They were a bit pricey when it came to treatment though. They told us what was wrong, they helped us, and though it ended in the worst case scenario, they did their job, and they did it properly. Thank you.

This place is horrible and very very unprofessional. If it’s your absolute last resort then go. If you have other options you should use other options before you go to this place. The receptionist/nurse was rude inconsiderate and I don’t even know how she has a job. The doctor did Test on my animal And told me nothing other than I need to take the pet to my primary veterinarian. $900 later I had no answers and they gave my animal back to me in worse condition when I can. Very very unprofessional if I could leave zero stars I would

So my friends dog got ran over bye a car before they would look at her they were already asking for $900.00 dollers as she was bleeding they needed a credit card which they were very clear for payment so doctor can start working on her in less than 10 min they said she has 10 percent chance of servival and it would cost us another $299.00 to put her down and cremated the animal so we walked out with a bill that had to pay on spot $ 1,200.00 and no dog this place I felt was in it for $$$$ only no the interest of the aninals

Terrible place. I took my pet here for an emergency after being attacked and loosing much blood and they turned us away because they were going to close in an hour. Gross. This is not a pet hospital to take your pet to in an emergency, ironic.

My old dog got some inflammation on her back. Right now cuz of covid the whole “waiting room” situation is kinda weird but overall the vet was very reliable and affordable, especially being a late night.

Horrible place. They don't care about you or your pet. They'll take your money and do nothing. Very rude. If you love your pets, take them literally anywhere else.

This is not the sort of place I like to review, but nevertheless, I needed their services. My senior cat became very ill very suddenly. By the time I raced him here, he was screaming in pain and couldn't move his back end and his feet were cold. The tech who greeted me at the door was polite, but frank- no time for BS. When I explained the severity of the situation, they rushed my cat in immediately. The vet found my cat had a blood clot that caused paralysis, pain, and would lead to an excruciating death. The vet gave me the option to transfer to a higher level of care for a second opinion or proceed with humane euthanasia. I've never been to an emergency vet (I've been to a lot) that didn't try to upsell 1000s in extra labs and services, so I was confident in the vets direct diagnosis. Due to COVID, no one is allowed in the building, even for euthanasia. We had just lost out dog to cancer two weeks before this and it was devastating for my four year old. The vet made my cat as comfortable as he could so my kiddo and husband could come say goodbye to our sweet boy. Under the circumstances, this facility could not have handled things any better. I wish I remembered the names of the two techs who helped us, because they were super heroes. They were dealing with so many emotions from people worried about their pets, frustrated about having to wait outside, upset about costs, etc, but these two techs didn't waste any time on anything other than helping the animals in their care. I genuinely hope to never need an emergency vet again, but if I do, I will definitely be returning here.

If you want to experience unethical pet service come to this place. I took my pup on Thursday, 2 owners of pets were ahead of me and the staff would not take my pup because she wasn't wearing a gown, but when some other expensive pup came after me and she didn't mind the gown. Than other 3 pet owners came after me and they were given service before me, at the end all i got was a brief call from the doctor without any details of my pup condition, he just wanted me to leave my pup under their care, but after seeing all this unethical service i took my pup with me. I paid 132 dollars for them to tell me what i already knew, and when i call the main office the clerk told me that people spend thousands of dollars and yet pets won't make it. So i took as if she was saying if you want to give us your money, you are more than welcome. It would sound mean but I'll rather see my pup die with me than to die in a strange cage without the love that he deserves and still pay for that. God bless our pets!!

We brought in an injured crow on Memorial Day. It didn't have all the feathers yet. The girl said it was okay to see the crow after asking their doctor. Then she came back saying they wouldn't be able to because it was not our pet. They wanted us to give the poor bird to wildlife. WE WERE JUST HELPING THE POOR BIRD, WE WERE NOT KEEPING THE BIRD ILLEGALLY. They said it could be expensive but we didn't care, we were willing to pay the fees. We just wanted the bird taken care of, healed then we will release it. We checked in online, the staff kept taking other people's pets in before us. Then finally they took it in. After waiting for 2 hours outside of this place (COVID-19 so you couldn't be inside), the crow still hasn't been seen. We asked for it back because we had to go. About an hour later, Animal Control called after that vet place informed them. Then Animal Control said the vet place should have done with no charge for the reason that we were "good humanitarian." They then offered to come pick up the bird and bring it to a vet. This makes me think that our 2 hr wait was for the Animal Control to come. Anyway, we are happy to give the bird to Animal Control so they can give it the care it needs. In conclusion, this place is in it for the money. I wouldn't take my own pets here. Oh and 3 out of 7 cases brought here that day, within the time frame we were there for, they recommended euthanization.
