I've been a customer at Ace for 11 years. Since being taken over by a corporation their service has suffered greatly. Their staff, including the doctors, are frequently rude, short and impatient while their prices have steadily gone up. Their hours are shorter also. Before the corporate take over, they were open 7 days a week with longer hours which I loved. No longer happy with the service here. I'm now searching for a new vet.

Took my dog here for allergic reaction to fleas. They were very thorough. Man, does owning a dog get spendy when you have to take them to the vet but I’m glad my dog is feeling better. I was grateful the vet spent so much time talking with me about all the issues, my concerns, and the options as well as discussing cost with me before doing anything.

Unprofessional front office. One word to describe over the phone customer service: Rude! I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I first called to make an appointment. Communication was not clear about submitting information. Expect a long wait for your "appointment". Overall experience it not great, especially with the pandemic. I prefer to be in the room with my dog. Give it a try, maybe you will have a better experience??? The only pleasant person to talk to is the actual vet. Ace Animal Hospital, ya'll need to buy your employees happy meals!

I have been at this vet for so many years but today was the first time I was overcharged, disrespected, and ignored. I was scheduled for an appointment at 10am, I arrived 20 minutes early and I wasn't checked up until 10:20am! I came in for a consult which was $60 then I was charged for a nail trimming that I didn't ask for. My total was supposed to be $60 but ended up being $90! I am very angry and will not be coming back here. Do not come here! Very poor services, terrible employees, and a vet that overcharges you. Make sure to always check your receipts!

Made an appointment for my dog who needed critical attention due to a bandage change for paw trauma. Even asked them on Monday for specific treatment needed and they confirmed they’d be able to do it. During the call confirmation 3 days later, they called and I just wanted to double check if they are still capable of doing the treatment. Not only did they say “the person that helped you over the phone didn’t know what they were talking about” but they also said the doctor will be canceling the appointment completely because it was something they could not help with. This is frustrating because it wasted 3 days I could have accommodated and made an appointment elsewhere and they didn’t offer any alternatives or accommodations. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

We've been to this vet for both my dogs and we were happy with our experience the two times we've been there. We didn't get to go inside the office because of covid, which was frustrating because it's hard to really get a feel for a place from the parking lot! (Btw there's lots of parking.) However, all the techs were nice and treated our dogs carefully and when they brought them in and out. My husband spoke to the doctor on the phone. The vet told him that our little girl dog was healthy and that he'd give us the prescription for her sensitive skin food. We'll continue going to Ace.

Overpriced place. Spent over 500 for a blood test, one injection and 5 pill of human brand omeprazol. And the doctor was hard to communicate. Will never return.

My pets have had wonderful care from Dr. Longley and Dr. Diaz. Both are very wiling to explain all options and costs in detail. Dr. Longley cared for my 20 year old cat who developed kidney disease. She also cares for my cat Rocky and my dog, Eddie, who has back trouble. Dr. Diaz also cares for Eddie with acupuncture. The vets are patient, positive, and willing to work with you to have the best care possible. I highly recommend them! The techs and office staff have been great, too, especially Nicole who showed me how to give fluids to my old cat, Millie. There was someone who answered the phone who was difficult to deal with but this hasn’t happened lately and I wouldn’t let that keep me from seeing these excellent vets.

Critical: Professionalism In person their staff is very nice but over the phone very cold and does not seem to be willingly helpful. We tried to get a prescription through a online vet-pharmacy store and need approval and waited many days for approval in order to fill the prescription. I called ACE a few times, explained the situation and answer was always "no email was received" and showed no proactiveness/responsiveness to resolve the problem. Very frustrating and cold, and making me feel like "begging" for service. Reading the other reviews, we have to think about changing vets.

They "Forgot" to do a urinalysis I paid for, they "Forgot" to charge me for medications they gave me, They "Forgot" to shave the clump of fur I paid to have removed (not refunded), and they gave my cat the wrong medication and at the end of it all the doctor laughed/scoffed at me.

Every time I come to Ace animal hospital it is a pleasure the staff is very welcoming very knowledgeable they make sure that everything is good for you I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone have a nice day

In person their staff is very nice but over the phone very cold and seemly rude. I tried to get a prescription for Chewy or any other vendor for that matter and on first call doctor will have to process. Waited 5 hours and no response. I called back and had to repeat myself 3 times and she did too. Very frustrating and cold. I asked about the online request I made through Ace Animal Hospital Fremont and she said she did not receive it only from Chewy. I wanted a copy of the prescription to send to Chewy and she said the doctor will only give a one online (to Chewy) or a written one, not both. In person they all are nice and usually on the phone they have been nice, but NOT this time. Reading the other reviews, it seem like they have changed over the past year and I will think about changing vets.

The staff has become very rude. I've been going to Ace for years, but now, I'm changing Vets. I also feel as if they are always trying to up sell.

This place is terrible! We used to come here before new management and it was amazing - they took such good care of our pets. But this new staff is terrible - they are really rude over the phone and up-charge at every moment. I think the worst part was when I spoke to the doctor about my complaints (her name is Nicole), instead of understanding and trying to get to a solution she was rude, talked over me, and could care less about my issue. There are better places out there for your pets, please don’t go here!

We scheduled appointment for our cat in advance. When we come to clinic they said that they don’t have anything scheduled for our time. I can’t recommend this clinic because as professionals this is not acceptable to lost appointment.

Ever since management changed sometime late last year, this place has not been the same. There is a huge disconnect between the patient and the vet, making everything seem down to business instead of a genuine care for your pet. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment, coming from quite far to this place and I was told my appointment was nullified because I was 15 min late..when 5 of those were me on hold trying to figure out why I was marked down as a first time client when I have been coming here for over 10 years with my cat and dog. I told them when making the appointment that my dog has a lump on his chest, but this was not enough of an emergency for my appointment to be fulfilled. I suggest old patients find where the old vets went and follow them there as I will.

We've been using Ace Animal hospital since we moved to the area late 2018. Up until today it has been mostly small things (nail trimming, shots, bladder infection, etc.). Today, we discovered that our cat was in need of emergency surgery - this came only a couple months after having to put our other cat down. Dr. Desai put my wife at ease and did what she could to help alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with emergency vet care. We appreciate your help, consideration, and professionalism Dr. Desai. Thank you very much.

The staff here is warm and friendly. The Doctors are knowledgeable and really seem to care about my pet and my pocket book. I've been to many Vet Hospitals over my lifetime and I can stay for sure that this Hospital is run wonderfully. I will always recommend this place to my family and friends.

I had an incident happen, i feel only one vet i talked to was honest with me. The other two we talked with gave little information which I feel like didn't help with my cat. But before this I brought my other cat in for bladder stones and the vet I talked with didn't charge me and I'm forever grateful for the ones who helped me more than they needed to.

Brought my brother in laws 2 month old corgi here, they explained all the shots and stuff we needed for the new pup They were really nice and very explanatory
