I've been coming here since I got my pet 4 years ago. The staff is amazing and so knowledgeable. Dr. Bierstedt is amazing and always puts me and my pets at ease.

Friendly and reasonable prices as VETERINARIANS GO , LOL none are affordable but they are better than most here and so far seem more interested in my pets health than racking up a high bill THAT IS VIP IN MY BOOK

Trust is important with a vet. Everyone is so nice and best of all they're always honest. They could have recommended expensive surgery for my cat but instead gave me other options that not only helped her but were cheaper. That says a lot about them.

I called this morning to ask if they offered the cytopoint injection for my dog , so that I could make an appointment. Kim (receptionist) asked if my dog has had a physical exam recently and I stated “no because she is going to be a new patient and I usually get it somewhere else, but if needed I have the records on hand” kim then responded with “Legally we have to do an exam for a new patient before we give her the cytopoint because that would be practicing bad medicine” (which I understood) she then proceeded to rudely say “that is like going to your primary care physician and ” I then hung up on her because of how baffled I was with her response and her attitude I was not being rude, so I do not understand why she would respond the way she did. I just asked a simple question. I was planning on transferring my dog’s care to this clinic but after my encounter with KIM I will be taking my business somewhere else. I would not want my furr baby to be treated as poorly and unprofessional as her customer service is.

It was our first visit here, and it was very easy to make an appointment. The receptionist (Kim), was very informative, and while she was very professional , she was very sweet and personable. During the visit, the staff complied with the Covid19 safety procedures, so they took our sweet pooch, while we sat in our car. The doctor came out and explained everything concerning our dogs visit and aftercare, and was the kindest and most patient vet. I'm so glad I found this clinic, and I will continue to bring all my furry friends here from now on. Awesome!

We love DR Biersteadt and the Pajaro Valley vet hospital! Dr Biersteadt’s manner is gentle and friendly. He cares so much about his patients that he really goes above and beyond to take care of his animal patients. All of the staff there are kind and compassionate. They saw us when our cat had an emergency after they had already closed for the day. We couldn’t recommend Pajaro Valley veterinary Hospital more highly.

I haven’t been super happy with Pajaro’s services for a while, but after this I will not be returning. Another dog in my household was diagnosed with Kennel Cough so I called to make an appointment and their employee was able to diagnose my dog with absolute certainty that she also had kennel cough over the phone because she asked if my dog has ever coughed before in her life and I said yes. She then instructed me to give my dog the other dogs antibiotics that had been prescribed to her, even though there is a 35lb difference and they would just refill the prescription for me to pick up the following day, this seemed off to me, but she supposedly checked with the vet there and he authorized this. The following day when I went to pick up the prescription refill, Kim the receptionist informed me that not only was there no record of this being authorized or approved, she also informed me that without having seen the vet they cannot refill any prescription for an animal it was not prescribed for and that the amount would be too high for my dogs weight anyways (like I had questioned the other lady the previous day). I asked if I should continue giving my dog the medication or not, what I should do, or if there was a vet or anyone else available to talk to that could answer my questions, her response was I don’t know and she’ll have to get back to me on Monday. The more I tried to get any information the ruder and more agitated with me she became. Needless to say I will not be returning, but to top it all off when I went to request my dogs vaccine and medical history, I found it was a good thing I kept all of my certificates, receipts, and records, because in all my dogs records no where was it listed the vaccines that she has been given...... Just wanted to share my story so others can make an educated decision on where they go to find care for their furry family members.

We've been bringing our animals here for years summer was refused services and Ronin who was put down here we didn't even receive a condolence card ???? work on sympathy the humans have feelings just like animals

Once a month there is a natural dental specialist who performs exams without anesthesia. Cost $150. I haven't found this service anywhere else.

Excellent pet care, good honest service! My cat loved their Boarding Services so much she was purring when they brought her out to me. I was truly amazed! They never use guilt tactics to buy expensive products or services.

Excellent veterinarian!! Dr. Biersted is the best Veterinarian I have ever been to. The staff is awesome, always kind and caring towards my dogs and cats. I love the communication, they keep me up to date on my pets health.
