I needed to board my very sweet 10-year-old corgi for a week. My vet recommended this place and I couldn't be happier. The dogs have the run oh a large play area (smaller play areas are available as well). My dog enjoyed socializing with the other dogs and the staff. They sent daily report cards that included a photo, a written report, an update on how well she ate, and a list of the dogs she played with. The facility also offers doggie daycare, which I may try in the future.

Great service- my dog was most giddy .. 3/4 days later, he's still prancing everywhere he goes thanks to the premium bath package I think it was called. You must try this place out if you have a pet in need of grooming & or boarding.

It was our first time leaving our pup because we were going on vacation and we were super worried. I've heard about other places that don't really take care of the dogs or just keep them in the kennels the whole time so I was definitely nervous. And our dog, Allie, usually has anxiety and gets really nervous. We saw that Beach City Dog Camp has just opened up near our place so we went to check it out and see how it was. Before letting Allie stay there, they let us come in with her so we could check it out and get a feel for it. Allie is extremely nervous, so to see her comfortable there was such a relief. The day we left her, Allie looked super comfortable and even excited. We were still worried about her when we were gone for the week, but Kimberly would send us updates and videos and pictures too!! And they let some of our friends swing by to check up on her and see her. They all said she was doing great! She wasn't eating well, but they were patient and hand fed her to make sure she was eating. The people at BCDC really seem like they know what they're doing and they really love the dogs, so it was so comforting and made us feel relieved. We would definitely let Allie stay there again if we go on vacation!!!! Thank you so much for taking care of our pup!

Our pup absolutely loves this day care. As soon as we are approaching the geographic area, he loses control. He begins to cry, jump, and bounce around with excitement, its hilarious to watch. The staff is super friendly and very informative. If you ask a question and they're not sure, they will follow up with an answer when you return. Even if it's a general question about your breed. You can sense the genuine and compassion they feel for animals. We have yet to purchase any behavior packages however, we are strongly considering it. Every time we leave our pup, we receive a report card of his behavior along with the cutest pictures. There are no cameras at the moment for live feed, but I'm sure that's soon to come. Based on the atmosphere and windows every where, we have never felt any reason of concern. The day care is surrounded with green turf, natural light and lounge chairs for dogs wanting a sunbath. Its adorable to see the dogs napping in the sun. The availability and hours accommodate our work schedules and weekend chores. It's very convenient to drop off our pup on a Sunday while we run errands. Daycare fees are reasonable compared to others. We couldn't feel more pleased with Beach City Dog Camp. We love being apart of the family!

My dog attends another daycare facility regularly for over 6 months and I never had any issues. After the required "temperament test," I immediately noticed that my dog had a laceration on his ear that looked fresh. His eye also looked bloody when he looked to one side. I know my dog and I play with my dog every morning and he did not have any of that before I took him to his Beach City Dog Camp's "temperament test." I rushed him to see his vet. I call Beach City Dog Camp when I get home from the vet and ask to speak to a manager. Kimberly- manager calls me back. I tell her about the laceration and eye injury after I came back from "temperament test." I ask her that I would like to know what really happened. She states that she will review the tapes in 20min and will call me back. An HOUR later, another person named Laura calls and leaves me a voicemail. I call back and she states that she reviewed the tape and when my dog was following another dog around. The other dog did not want to play so the other dog "CORRECTS" him. She states that after the other dog "CORRECTS" my dog, my dog "got the message" and stopped following him. Laura continues, "SOMETIMES a dog needed to be CORRECTED by another dog!!!!!" Laura states that "BUT THERE WAS NO DOG FIGHT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT." Then she starts probing me on what my vet said exactly...which ear was the laceration... was it a corneal abrasion or ulcer??- Laura states "BECAUSE CORNEAL ULCER takes time to develop" suggesting that it couldn't possibly be their fault. The entire conversation Laura was trying to find many ways to suggest that it was my dog's fault. The entire conversation, they are doubting me and they make me feel like I am trying to make up this scenario. Trust me, I have better things to do than to make up a scenario to get my dog into a daycare. I told Laura that in all honesty, I understand dogs are dogs and not all dogs get along and things like this happen. BUT in this situation, my dog was being judged for A TEMPERAMENT TEST. One would THINK that during a temperament test, the dog in question would be kept under a strict watchful eye. But that is just my opinion. During this 1 HOUR TEMPERAMENT TEST, my dog got TWO physical issues that needed Veterinary care. In my book, this this is unacceptable. AND to be told that my dog needed to be CORRECTED by another DOG DURING A TEMPERAMENT TEST FOR FOLLOWING ANOTHER DOG!!!!! IS DISGUSTING! I don't know about you but I look for people that truly care about dogs. In my humble opinion, this includes ensuring that the dogs undergoing a TEMPERAMENT TEST, as well as the other present dogs, are kept safe during the TEMPERAMENT TEST. I am very disappointed in this establishment for not keeping the dogs safe during a TEMPERAMENT TEST. I fully understand all of the risks that could be possible during dog interactions at places like doggie daycare or doggie parks. But to have this occur during a TEMPERAMENT TEST is unacceptable. During my all of my conversations with the managers regarding this incident, they never once apologized, sympathize, or empathize with me or my dog. They never once wished that my dog will recover soon. They never once apologized that this unfortunate situation was happening. All they cared about was covering their a** and putting the blame on my dog during a TEMPERAMENT TEST. I really hope that this doesn't happen again to other dogs here. That is the reason why I am writing this extremely long review. I really hope that nothing like this will happen again to another dog during a TEMPERAMENT TEST. So fellow doggie parents, take this review with a grain of salt and really be skeptical of this place. Make sure to ask a lot of questions and thoroughly examine your dog after they are returned to you. Maybe this place will work out for your dog, who knows. Better yet, its best to steer away from this place.

It's a great place to take your four legged friends to for a bath or a haircut. They got some of the greatest groomers. They're really loving and caring towards them. They take their time to make your loving furry friend look their greatest.

I never bother to write reviews of places even when I've had a horrible nightmare experience, but I am beyond thrilled with BCDC and how much care they took to groom my Siberian Husky I thought I should show my gratitude by taking the time to share how wonderful they are here. I've had what many would consider nightmare grooming experiences with other professional groomers and it's quite shocking what I had to put up with at the expense of my furbaby. I shared my previous concerns I had with other groomers with BCDC and their team took the time to put me at ease and the groomers came out to meet me and go over their plans to make sure my Husky doesn't suffer any uncomfortable complications from inadequate, poorly educated, and careless lazy grooming. I'm very open minded and I'm willing to give anyone a chance and even multiple chances so I gave BCDC a try. I was so happy to see how clean and we'll groomed husky was when I picked her up. They even managed to put a bow on her and keep it there (something I have failed to do for the past 2 years). My husky is very wiggly and I don't have enough hands to hold her still while parting her fur to apply topical flea treatment down to her skin. I asked them to help with this and for a reasonable fee they took care of giving my husky her Advantix after grooming was complete. I do have to say there were clumps of Advantix on her outer fur (probably she was wiggly and moved) and hope next time application will be easier. I am pleased to report that it's been a day since my husky was groomed and she is a very happy and clean baby. Her last grooming at another place left her damp which is a horrible thing to do to a long coated woolly Siberian husky. She is not like a typical husky and her "flawed" long coat makes it hard for her to dry out naturally unlike other breed standard huskies. She developed hot spots all over her body and her paws (which she eventually chewed raw) and was uncontrollably itchy despite all the hot spot treatments I tried to give her. On top of hot spots developing because the previous groomer at another business left her damp, it made her smelly right away too! Reyann at BCDC took a lot of time to ensure Abby was very dry and as a result she is a very happy husky now. I haven't seen her gnawing at herself once and she smells like a clean dog as she should. Reyann did note that Abby did develop a few mats after bathing despite the care she took as I warned might happen and she patiently took care of Abby versus a previous experience with another groomer who created extremely horrible mats with her carelessness and insisted my dog had to be shaved and quit after leaving my husky with very painful mats all over. Another groomer rescued me that time and successfully got out all the mats. I can't thank Reyann enough for taking care of my husky, listening to my concerns, and giving my husky a positive grooming experience so she can continue to learn grooming isn't so bad. We will be back for sure! I also want to share that beyond the basic vaccination requirements and flea & tick treatment to board or leave your dog for day care, BCDC requires that your dog have a negative fecal exam. I've never had any boarders ask for this, but I can appreciate that BCDC made this requirement to ensure the safety of the dogs they care for. The manager apologized I wasn't informed about this requirement and I'm glad to report I overheard them fully explain their requirements to another prospective customer when I was there yesterday. This is a brand new business so a few kinks are understandable. They are extemely professional and work to train their staff correctly once they identify problems. Wish they streamlined their paperwork better there was a lot to fill out and it was repetitive. A digital input system would be nice. I'm very glad to have found BCDC and can't wait for my husky to have some play time with them. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you BCDC!
