A friend recommended Camino Pet Hospital to me and I've taken my cats there ever since. The staff are friendly and the prices for procedures are very reasonable - affordable! Thank everyone at Camino Pet Hospital for being so awesome!

We love all the staff at Camino and our family has been using them for decades. Dr Shoolman really listens to your concerns and will tell you if you have anything to worry about or if you are over thinking it as some pet parents can do. Lol (That's me!) Our eldest dog is 19 years old thanks to their love and care! That should say enough right there. Also, we make the drive from Long Beach because it is worth it. ❤

I have been bringing my dogs here for over 10 years. I felt the doctors provided good care. Unfortunately, this is not the case anymore. I am very disappointed in Dr. Shoolman. I brought my dog to see Dr. Shoolman in March 2021. My dog had been having a weird cough for a couple of days. it sounded like bronchitis to me. He seemed to have phlegm and was acting like he was trying to cough it up. When I brought my dog to see Dr. Shoolman we had to wait in the car due to COVID. A lady came and got him and I told her what was going on. I checked the time she took my dog because I wanted to see how long it was going to take. I could not believe it when 4 minutes later I got a call from Dr. Shoolman telling me everything was fine and he thinks my dog is experiencing "reverse sneezing." I told him that I don't think that is what it is and he said my dogs lungs sounded fine. There was NO way he provided a thorough examination in 4 minutes! He prescribed an antihistamine and sent us on our way. I tried giving my dog the antihistamine for two days but it did not help at all and he got significantly worse! The coughing was twice as bad and you could hear rattling in his chest. My husband and I took him to another vet. They did a chest x-ray and provided a thorough examination and my dog did in fact have bronchitis! After a few days on antibiotics he was starting to feel better. In the mean time my other dog ended up with bronchitis. I will never bring my dogs to Camino Animal Hospital again!

We have both our cat and dog going to Camino Pet Hospital and it has been a positive experience. Our dog and cat have had minor and medium level problems (digestive issues to a broken leg) and Dr Shoolman has always managed them well. He and his staff were courteous and have cared for our furry buddies well. We are happy with them and trust them in terms of care and pricing without trying to gauge us for unnecessary procedures or elements. Updated 7/9/2021: Just came back with our cat with a broken leg from our appt with Dr Shoolman. All going well. Am impressed with his no nonsense common sense solutions and treatment of Lucky our cat. Again, very reasonable and fair costings, and good sympathetic care for our little Houdini.

Took my dog in for vaccines and blood work. She’s only 3.9 pounds. They drew blood from her neck and they did not apply pressure long enough after the blood draw and caused a large hematoma. I’m extremely unhappy this happened and told it was no big deal. I’ll NEVER take my dog back there, especially with them doing curbside only, so unprofessional ????

We all want to go to a vet that we feel confident with and feel secure that our dogs or cats or whatever pet you have is taken care of responsibly and with love and care. Camino Pet Hospital and Dr. Aaron Shoolman is by far the kindest and most responsible vet I have ever gone to. Above and beyond that he is so kind. You will not be disappointed. The gals that work with him are just as kind and thoughtful....A great place to be.

Brought my chihuahua in for a pawdicure. I was charged an extra $50 just for the nail buffing. It was a ridiculous ripped off. And the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. Big mistake!!

My dog has been a patient of Camino Pet Hospital since he was first born. He's almost 5 now and I'm beyond grateful for them and their services. Everyone who works there is so kind and the doctor services are top notch. I don't live too close the office, but I make the drive because the are worth it. ***** 5 stars

This office takes really good care of my dogs. Recently I had a situation where my dog was vomiting and had diarrhea all day. They were able to see me immediately. That was a Saturday. Sunday the vet phoned me personally to give me the lab results. I don't know of many veterinarians that care enough to phone you on their day off. Luckily the test results indicated it was just something he had eaten. He did get antibiotics and was on IV fluids and is now regaining his strength. Thank you so much to Dr. SHOOLMAN and his staff

Dr. Shoolman and staff are always kind caring and professional. We've been taking our furry family members there for 10 years.

SO RUDE! I will never take my pet back again. I will never refer anyone here, I will refer you to anywhere else! my conversation with the vet began with "so you have never owned a cat before have you?" well matter of fact Mr. Vet yes I have. I have also worked with them in a boarding facility. When I told him I had one as a child he said, "oh okay, so your parents for the cat then?" No Mr. Vet we all did. Some parents teach their children responsibility so we cared for the pets, not our parents. Charged for things I should not have been charged for, then got more attitude after he took one charge off....... Because I care for my animals health and safety I paid and got the H*** out of there. I am now disputing charges and notifying anyone and everyone to STAY AWAY!!!!! There are hidden reviews that are not counted towards their overall rating, which is why their rating is so high! ALL of the 1 star reviews talk about how rude the vet is or how their pet came home hurting.... SO SAD, please keep your pets safe!

I am so grateful we found Camino Pet Hospital. Our dog Winston needed cleaning and several teeth pulled. Dr. Shoolman's communication is excellent as well as his response time. He reassured us about the procedure, what to expect and spent so much time answering all of our questions. His team was also very attentive and caring. We feel fortunate to have a new vet so close to our home.

My two dogs got "fixed" here they were very thorough . They are handling the covid rules appropriately with distancing etc they pic your dog up the the car and drop them off the same . I would recommend them to anyone and I will be back. I forgot to add that I recommended your place to Coco's mom Kona who was diagnosed with breast cancer. You preformed breast removal surgery and spaying on Kona just a few weeks back and she is home recovering well. Her human mom has had to reach out to you because Kona has had a few issue's one was and infection and you responded quickly and she is on the mend. Thank you so much for taking care of Coco's momma Kona . For anyone reading this yes dogs can get breast cancer, but early spaying can help make the chances less possible.

Dr Shoolman and the team are the most amazing. We had to move to LA county but we still take our dogs to Irvine for Dr Shoolman to see them. They also keep a very good schedule. I haven’t been waiting much for the doctor ever and that while he always answers all of our questions patiently. We and our dogs are so happy to have them as our vet team.

Dr. Shoolman and his wonderful staff are a treasure in our community! They are knowledgeable, caring, understanding, responsive, friendly, well informed, and always provide excellent service to their patients (furry & human!) each and every time we visit!

I like Dr Schoolman and the staff very much. They are engaged and caring about our famiy as well as the dogs. They keep me informed and work with me in caring for our dogs. Nice as well as professional. A good combination. As a nice side benefit the 99 Store is right there and I can run over for my favorite sushi rice and sauces and good stuff. Unfortunately, the wonderful bakery next door was forced to close due to Covid-19. Those of you who might have read my review of the bakery will be sad about this. It was a favorite place to get my mom a treat. We will miss them and wish them the very best.

Dr. Shoolman is the best veterinarian out there due to his knowledge, clinical skills, and bedside manner. His staff is caring and compassionate and they are caring and loving with our pets. Thank you for all you do.
