What's not to love about this hospital. The Dr. is incredibly knowledgeable and her love for animals is super evident. Caring and hospitable staff, the facility is clean and welcoming. All the dogs I've seen here seem to feel is a playground. They all love being here. It's an incredible experience, a huge amount of information is provided. Not enough good things can be said.

Dr. Goldfarb has been fantastic. We've been going here since our dog was a puppy. Over the last year we've battled through multiple issues including severe gastrointestinal and skin issues, along with the odd puppy accidents. Indy's place has always been available, patient and welcoming and most of all - we learned so much as new puppy parents. Our little girl loves it here and goes crazy seeing her favorite person in the world, and I don't think you can say that about too many vets as stereotypically dogs are pictured as hating vet visits. Dr. Goldfarb has been patient, at the same time has always advised us on what's best for our dog and how to manage and solve any issues that have cropped up on pretty much regular basis including the odd emergency check and diagnosis in between appointments and lunch hours when no other appointment was available. Sometimes it can be a little challenging to find appointments, which is understandable given the current situation across the industry - but Dr. Goldfarb has always made it a point to check in with us over the phone or email making sure our little dog always had the most up to date advice possible, including after hours medicine and food pickup to make sure our dog gets better as soon as possible even when no appointments had been available. You can tell Dr.Goldfarb not only knows her stuff, but she makes her best effort to refer to experts for specific issues making sure that we are doing right by our dog. I don't know if we'd ever been able to manage bringing up our dog in the way we have without her advice.

I got Dr. Goldfarb's name from the staff where my dog goes for doggy play. His previous vet had retired. My dog is the anxious type about going to the vet - gets shaky, tail down and even growls. I was dreading apologizing for 40 lbs. of "don't touch me". Dr. Goldfarb was unfazed - she sat on the floor with him, pulling squeaker toys out of a box and spent the time (much like a pediatrician with a reluctant toddler), encouraging my dog to just go with the flow and reeeelllllaxxx.All the time she was doing her vet check - touching, listening and watching. Never forcing, just cajoling, patting and rewarding. When you come to this practice be prepared to spend some time - all for the good of you 4-legged friend. Oh yes, she doesn't charge you much at all for this show of patience. We will be back and my guy is already doing better.

I'm an old patient/client of Dr. Kerem's, well before he and his wife opened Indy's. Back then I had a cat that had a very sad terminal disease. Dr Kerem was the only vet we saw who was kind and understanding. He was very giving of his time and knowledge. He truly cares about the animal and it's human. Now it's a couple years later, and I have a new cat. Indy's is about 40miles from my home, but it's worth the drive to have my pet seen by the best. I would drive much further to see Dr. Kerem-- best veterinarian ever!

We really love going to Indy’s Place since they care such good care of our fur baby, Asher! Since Asher was a puppy until now, he looks forward to every visit to Indy’s Place. Both Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb, as well as the entire staff are superb. They really care and love Asher, and that means a lot to us. Highly recommend Indy’s Place! ????????

Dr. Rachel Goldfarb is really good with my cat. For a first time pet owner like me, She gave me a lot of good advise on parenting my kitten. Ironically my kitten loves to visit the vet! Thank you doctor.

I have been taking my Shiba Inu to Indy's ever since she was a two month-old pup and now I bring my new kitten for care. The staff here are all professional and kind and Dr. Goldfarb is a fantastic veterinarian. Every time we come in for a check-up she explains in detail everything she is doing and always follows up with informative discharge instructions. Indy's Place Pet Hospital prioritizes your pet's well-being and so they play calming music and use only positive reinforcement techniques to make all visits to the vet a pleasurable one for you and your beloved fur babies. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Dr Goldfarb is wonderful. Pays so much attention and care to your pet. Very thoughtful care. Only downside is how busy and sometimes hard to get appointment in a rush.

Dr Goldfarb and her team are the best practice we have encountered and highly recommend them for your pet. We have some rather difficult, skiddish dogs that are scared of vets. Dr Goldfarb and her staff go out of their way and spend considerable time treating them. We are extremely grateful for the compassionate and loving care they provide. Try them and you won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal vet office. One of our dogs sadly became very traumatized over vet visits over the years due to a couple of painful elbow surgeries and many procedures before and after. We really struggled to find a vet option that would work for him, even for simple things like vaccine shots. Someone suggested Indy’s as being great in terms of their fear-free, patient approach, and they have been AMAZING. So patient and willing to work with us and our dog Cody. Dr. Goldfarb and the rest of the team there are the best!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb! I was the godmother to Bella Donna, who bravely battled an ultimately terminal illness for almost 3 years. Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb provided top notch, compassionate care to both Bella Donna and her human mom. They made highly personalized and effective suggestions to provide Bella Donna with comfort, dignity, and the best quality of life possible during her final illness. Their fear-free approach is both highly innovative AND effective - when animals are calm, it allows for the most thorough and effective examination possible, not to mention successful treatment for any health conditions that may be discovered. Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb truly understand that our animals are an important part of our families, which is reflected in the fear-free approach. Thank you both again so much for everything you’ve done and continue to do - the world truly needs more veterinarians like you!

If your looking for a new vet in the SF Bay Area you do not need to look any further! You have found a new home for your family fur babies. My experiences have only been beyond positive with Dr. Kerem, Dr. Goldvarb and his kind staff. Yes everyone is very busy because of Covid still. I was caring for a very critically ill kitty and always heard back from Dr. Kerem. His support was beyond amazing. Beyond. I am very grateful to him and his staff. They really do care and have so much knowledge to share with all of us. Blessings to them Genie. ❤????????

Very Friendly Staff. We will be coming here for our pet’s healthcare needs. Over the phone, I had a lot of basic questions and Jackie was super patient with me and offered a wealth of useful information. If Jackie’s service is an indication of the skill and expertise of this clinic, I’d feel very comfortable leaving our pet under their care.

When we first came to Dr. Goldfarb our pup was scared of everything, especially coming to the vet, we don't know why but it is a fact. We worked on happy visits with Dr. Goldfarb and right now it is Ginger’s one of the favorite places to go :). Sometimes she insists to come over if we walk nearby. Our pup is happy to see Dr. Goldfarb and staff. We come to Dr. Goldfarb with different problems, and we always get help and a lot of information about what is going on with Ginger and providing choices on what can be done. It is very important for me, “helicopter” mom :). Right now we are working on weight loss and with a prescribed diet we are doing good. I will definitely recommend to see Dr. Goldfarb with your furry or not so furry pets :)

I wish I could give more stars. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb. Our puppy has had digestive issues since we got him, and they have done a great job of explaining what our next options are. They always give their professional opinion without pressuring us. We have also probably had half a dozen 20 min phone calls to explain what different things mean, all without an appointment. The emails and discharge instructions are very clear and detailed, and the invoices are as well. I have no doubt that Indy's gives us the best price. Otis loves them too! He goes absolutely crazy in there, running and playing everywhere! He gets mad if he is in the car when we stop there and he doesn't get to go inside. I am pretty sure Otis might love them more than us, even after blood draws and the use of a catheter. I cannot recommend this place enough. The only reason I would not recommend them to someone is so I can have more of their time!

Brought my cat there since we adopt her. Very friendly staff, very responsive.

Dr. Kerem did an amazing job helping us get our puppy's digestion back on track, and helping us with his itchy skin. He really cares about his patients and how they are doing, and takes his time to ask questions and answer any question you may have. Our puppy is so excited to go to the vet and loves when the vet tech comes out to pick him up, he wags his tail like crazy. There is no fear at all and only a happy puppy.

I would recommend Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb to anyone who love their pets! They genuinely care about my mini bernedoodle puppy - he now loves his vet visits as he gets so many treats and affection from everyone in the office! They are also so great about communications - not only do we get comprehensive discharge instructions every time, both Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb has spent time responding to my emails at different times late at night when I had questions. Thanks so much Dr. Kerem and Dr. Goldfarb!!!

Best vet. Always very gentle and caring. He was willing to stay late to see our cat who is having diahrea. Much appreciated!

Been there twice, and and all I could get performed was booster shots. Every other time after that, I have had trouble setting up appointments or even getting a hold of someone to assist. When I finally got someone to respond. The receptionist was dismissive of my questions and unwilling to help. I’d suggest finding a new veterinarian clinic. That is now what I need to do. (Changing One star to Two stars) I did get contacted by DVM Asaf Kerem of my negative review.

So grateful my last vet recommended Indy's. I switched to doing at home vet visits because my cat could never get comfortable in other environments. When that service shut down the vet there recommended Indy's because they practice Fear Free medicine. Dr. Kerem creates a welcoming space where my cat was very comfortable. That environment resulted in the first successful office visit I've had. Dr. Kerem is very communicative and always willing to answer any question. I will definitely be recommending Indy's!

Brought my dog in for a dental evaluation and got some very detailed feedback and recommendation, both over the phone (covid measure) and over discharge email. To provide a comparison, the yearly appointment at another vet included a 3 mn chat at the end of the appointment, where I felt rushed, and no discharge email/document. Even though this was a dental evaluation only, Dr Kerem took the time to get to know my dog's habits and general health first. I'll otherwise share that my dog is sweet but gets really nervous and isn't as easy to handle when checking her teeth, so it was pretty impressive. I would recommend this veterinarian.

Highly recommended for anyone that loves their pets and wants the best care for them. We recently moved to Foster City and are extremely happy with our choice. Dr. Kerem is extremely knowledgeable and deeply cares about his "patients". He spent heaps of time getting to know their medical history and made sure that we had the best options for them. He also went the extra mile to make our male dog feel comfortable, as he has major anxiety issues. So after shots, discussions about their diet, teeth cleaning and a minor surgical intervention we can definitely say that we are fully happy with Indy's Place care for our little monsters Canoowie and Lola.

We recently switched to Indy's and are thrilled with the communication and thoroughness of this pet hospital. We were previously with VCA and had concerns that our dog was being over medicated. Dr. Kerem ran tests and confirmed our dog's levels were too high. Dr. Kerem is humble, thoughtful and takes the time to explain, in detail, results and recommendations. He is collaborative in defining a care plan. We are very grateful for his care.

Dr.Cerem was very good ! He treated my two cats so well. Definitely a great vet clinic.

After two visits to Indy's place, I know this is my go-to place for my puppy. Dr. Kerem is professional and caring. He is not only patient with the dog, but more importantly, very patient with ME! As you can imagine, a new dog owner can be very anxious and stressed about a slight change in her puppy. I took my 4 month husky Lucky to Indy's place one week ago for a preventive health exam and rabies shot. Everything goes very smoothly and Dr. Kerem talked with me for more than half an hour over the phone (no-contact visit due to pandemic) to explain all sorts of the questions I have. I have never bothered a doctor for both human and dog like this previously. So I was pretty impressed by his knowledge and patience. Last night, Lucky was not comfortable when I pull her leash while walking. I called Dr. Kerem again. Even though it is close to their closing time, he let me bring Lucky in, just to make sure Lucky is fine and I am not too worried. It turns out to be nothing, and Lucky is very playful again. Dr. Kerem also gives a lot of helpful tips about small gadgets to make both my and Lucky's life easier. So thankful for such a nice vet in 10 mins drive.

Very nice place and excellent service provided by Asaf Kerem, DVM. Our cat Don Cecil is quite senior, needed gentle caring. Doctor performed very good surgery, made some other treatments and provided valuable suggestions.

The doctor is very kind and thoughful.
