Since it is curb side service now the coordinates probably deal with a lot of phone calls lately. The female coordinator didn’t show a tiny bit of patience. For some reason my simple inquiries of the wait time were interpreted as accusations. Her responses were neither sympathetic nor polite.

The doctor did not care much about our new puppy, the puppy exam was very simple, just broefly checking the body and heartbeat measurement. No ear, temperature, and heartrate checking. The doctor was not helpful at all, he was just in hurry to leave, did not talk much. We could not trust them, so had to go to another place to make sure our puppy is healthy

I worked with Dr. G in OH. The old clinic has had to respay several dogs and cats that he spayed because he left ovary remnants behind. He is not a competent vet and I highly suggest you take your pets elsewhere.

Very honest and easy to schedule an appointment when every other vet clinic has said “sorry there’s a vet shortage, we can see you in 4 months”. They helped me with a really difficult time with my dog and everyone was very empathetic.

One simple word I can describe this place is “unprofessional” I would NOT recommend taking your little furry family here. I had my puppy microchipped for future international travel with her. I asked clearly if this microchip is international approval? Is it accepted in this specific country? They said Yes. So I got my puppy microchipped here. Couple weeks later, I visited my friend’s vet for some help in international travel with my furry friend and found out that the microchip Animal Pet Cove gave to my puppy was NOT approved for international travel... I called them to ask what happened and they were saying “I’ve never heard that some countries don’t accept this type of microchip. We only have one type of microchip.” So that basically means they didn’t know and just said yes to all my questions?????? UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! If they don’t know exactly, they should NOT perform anything!!! My puppy just went through pain and we paid money for nothing! We also had a dog that passed away a couple of years ago, and one time he had red eyes, tearing up a lot and his visions were getting bad. When we took him here, the vet told us it’s probably an allergy and gave us some drops for his eyes. But it was getting worse and worse so we took him to the emergency and found out he had an issue with his brain. What is this? Just unbelievable. NEVER bringing my little family here EVER AGAIN.

My experience here so far has been nothing but amazing. The front desk staff is cheerful and super helpful, the tech staff are quite possibly the sweetest most eager to help people I have encountered in a veterinarian clinic, and both Doctors have been super knowledgeable, direct, and extremely kind to my super anxietized dog. I'm thankful I was referred to this establishment.

Had a great experience today. My feline friend was a little shy but it was great to know she was well behaved and in good hands. The team did a great job in diagnosing her conditions and listening to my concerns. I'm definitely coming for a followup and becoming a regular client ????

On 6/8/2021My cat (10 month British Shorthair) cannot open the right eye in the morning so I took him to Animal Cove pet hospital at 5PM. Dr. Dilip Garikipati performed the exams for the tear test and Fluorescein Stain and said there was infection but no ulcer. Prescribed the antibiotic eye drop. However, they gave us the wrong eye drop of Dexamethasone without antibiotic. We applied the wrong steroid eye drop from 6/8 night to 6/14. Mochi's eye got much worse. After one week, the doctor confessed that I was given a wrong eyedrops and gave me the correct eye drop on 6/14 with both antibiotic and steroid inside without checking the cat - even when I asked if I can still apply the eyedrops he prescribed before as my cat's eye started to show white stuff and he said yes. It turns to be a disaster as my cat got sever ulcer steroid can only make it worse. We went to Emergency Care on 6/16 and confirmed there was a large conceal ulcer which should not use any steroid eye drop. We started using new antibiotic since 6/16 and the situation improved. Now ulcer is gone but there is a scar in the middle of the right eye which could be stay there permanently. My cat suffered for the whole month for their unprofesionalism and I had to spend much more money (additional $500) and time to take care of him - I am so disappointed about the services.

Animal Cove Pet Hospital was amazing to my dog and if it wasn't for them he would have not had the quality of life he needed towards the end. I think they're great and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been using Animal Cove for about 30 years. The staff is always very friendly, caring and helpful. Dr Cowing is very thorough and explains all your options and what care is needed for your pet. Recently I had a very sick cat and it wasn't the outcome I expected, but they helped me through the sad process. I highly recommend this office.

Experienced vet who gives gentle but comprehensive exams to nervous pets. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to find and park.

The Doctors are great. Having both animal and people skills can be hard to find but the levels of genuine care and professionalism I've experienced have earned my trust and respect over the years.

Dr. Cowing is the best

Absolutely one of the best .. went in to drop off a sample for testing (which was done over a weekend). However they have been responsive and helpful in the 6 years we have owned Baker and Pepper

Great place. Always helpful, and willing to listen. I have a dog who is problematic with people, the vet tried several approached to make sure she can examine her and left notes for next time. Very reasonable.

Amazing and gentle vet helped to sooth our two scared kitties. Helped prepare the documentation to bring our furballs across the border to Mexico.

I have been bringing my cats and dogs to Dr. Cowing for about 30 years. He is knowledgable, caring and thorough in his care plans, whether for wellness or when ill. My pets are my family members, have lived to relatively old ages, and i appreciate all the support Dr. C and his office have given. This office is and has been an amazing contributor of professional services to our community in Foster City!

1100 later and my dog died. They cleaned his teeth and cut nails costing me an extra $200 when past away the next day
