This place was the worst place ever! It was absolutely filthy and unhygienic! The doctor was very unpersonable and was in and out without answering any questions. It felt like he was not even interested in checking my puppy. I paid for an examination and all I got was the doctor listening to his heart. Worst experience ever. I would not bring your pets here! I do have to say however that the staff at the front was very friendly and kind.

I called this office to see if they could spay/neuter feral cats. I was told yes, by walk in only. I Arrived at the clinic right at opening as to give the veterinarian ample time. After 2 hours of waiting in this poorly run office, they called me back. The very rude and sarcastic vet came in and told me that they were too busy and he could just do the male. I then told him I called and was told I couldn't make an appointment that it's walk in only. I asked him if he realized how difficult it was just to capture the 2 cats I brought. He walked out. Receptionist came back in with her paperwork to tell me cost would be $198 labs, $50 office visit, $79 shots, and $129 for neuter. I picked up cages and walked out. I wouldn't recommend this vet, or his poorly run office to anyone.

We took our kitten, Mini, in for her hurt paw and her vaccinations. The staff was amazing and attentive to our kitten’s needs and are always happy to answer any questions we have :)

I have a poodle named petunia and she needed surgery to remove a tumor that grew. And honestly thanks to this veterinary they saved her life. And we’ve continued to go here from her recover to prevention of that happening as well as her dental work! They treat my petunia like a super star when she arrives there each time with great service and care! Thank you fontana animal hospital crew ♥️????????

I can not express how dysfunctional this practice is. The vet is slow and abrupt. There is no bedside manner whatsoever. The assistants are nice but there is no order. The front desk staff doesn’t exist. They turn off their phones so they can not be reached. Equipment is not sanitized prior to treating each animal. I had to specifically ask the doctor to wipe the table down before I placed young puppies on it. There was hair and residue from the last animal on the table. I waited for an hour for medical records and was given the incorrect ones. This is after I called and got a busy signal for three hours. I paid $700+ for puppies vaccines and prior to that $40 every Medicine that is administered including “vitamins.” These “vitamins” are $11.00 on Amazon and do not require a vets prescription. Overpriced and no order to the office. Waste of your time. I will always drive to Riverside.

Fontana animal hospital helped my cat when no other place would, he wasn’t eating had lost a lot of weight and was unresponsive other places didn’t count it as an emergency and said I had to wait for the appointment, if I wasn’t for the help of the Fontana animal hospital I would have lost him, they are always clean, very kind and patient with the animals always putting them first and are always ready to help our little friends if you are looking for a reliable and professional place to in trust your pet to this is the place to go

Very reliable! I’ve been coming to them for the past 3 years. They always treat my pets with so much care and respect. They save my little bulldog, he got an infection after he got neutered. They took good care of him and saved his life! Never going to any other vet. Staff show so much love and respect to all the pets they take care of. Love this place!

Fontana Animal Hospital always takes really good care of our fur babies. Our 6 yr old American Bulldog needed surgery to remove a tumor. Surgery was completed quickly and without complications. Azul is home and doing great! The staff at Fontana Animal Hospital really care about their animal clients and their families.

Horrific. Couldnt find time to see my pup even when i said he was really sick he died and. All because i couldnt find a vet in fontana that could see him that day. I thought that a few in fontana was good not now stressed my baby. Need help now. Not 1 vet in fontana could see him. Took him to first vet that said ok. In upland. Got there it was to late he tried if just 1 in fontana would have said yes he might have made it. So will never consider anyone of them good . if they really cared about animals. They would. Have at least looked at him. I said i thought he was dying. Sorry booked. Cant help so. Dont tell me how good they are my babys dead

They saved my dogs eye! He’s doing much better now. I’m very grateful for the service and follow up (they could probably use a bit more help, but good service!)

I took my dog here for a wellness check and shots and the doctor was so rude! The nurses were super nice and if it wasn't for them then my experience would have been worse. The doctor waked and didn't even introduce himself, and immediately started to demand me to hold my dog down and to pin her head. The doctor was raising his voice telling me to keep her head down and make her turn around. At this point my dog was a little frantic and he didn't even finish administrating the liquid! He just stopped and walked off without saying anything! I stayed around waiting for an additional half hour thinking he'd come back to finish administrating the liquid until the nurse told me he was already done. My poor dog was shaking! Never coming here again.

Overpriced and understaffed, they find any reason to up charge for medications, xrays and office visits even if your pet doesn't stay overnight you will still get charged an additional office visit for having them there while they wake up from anesthesia. Mysterious misc 5 $ fee for disposal of syringe or who knows what is always added to receipt. And even if you have an appointment expect to wait long wait times, unfortunate that it truly seems like they take advantage of the immediate care that your pet needs to charge an incredibly high amount of money. Expect to pay over$ 300 if you bring your pet here.

They take too long and not organized. I was waiting with my dog in a room and others were getting seen before me even when I arrived first. I asked to cut my dogs nails while he was undergoing surgery because he gives you a hard time. They did not do it! I paid for a nail trim but wasn’t done.

I've been here a couple times and I've always had a positive experience. The Doctor listens and answers all questions explaining much of what needs to be done and why. Connie is really great with my pets.
