I appreciate this place. I have two extremely high maintenance chihuahuas- that need boarding and vet care. This company is reasonably priced and the people know my pups. They give good quality care. I appreciate it and so do my pups!! ????

They were so good with my elderly dog and she adores them. They explained things well. They were really great to work with!

I love Dr. Heidi and her staff, they are always so friendly and Dr. Heidi truly cares for the animals. She has been know to call us after we received services for our animals to check and see how they are doing. I would recommend anyone who cares for their animals to take them to FVH.

I recently took my dog in to be spayed. They took great care of her and she was able to go home that afternoon. You can tell they really care about their patients. My dog’s recovered nicely. Thanks Dr. Heidi.

Unsubscribe. Please share this with the owner. And then, please stop sending me emails. This week, today, I needed to have my dog seen, and was told you could not see him until December. I found another place to take him today and the appointment took 20 minutes. I know that some vets are short staffed. I know that appointments are higher volume due to Covid. I know that it is a tough time for everyone. And I can appreciate that maybe the need is higher than what your office can actually provide. However, I want to encourage your clinic to reconsider not seeing animals that have already been established with you. Turning away a 20 minute appointment- means 20 times that I will probably mention to a friend, a neighbor, a stranger…that Folsom Veterinary Hospital does not really care for their patients. That they are more concerned about their online products than actual living, breathing pets. Please stop sending me the useless emails. Me and my pet have moved on…

Folsom vetenary hospital is the best! The staff is so kind and gentle with Midas ! I recommend 100%. Amanda will also give your furry friend so much love and treat while taking care of their health ! The proce are reasonable.

Best care for your family pets anywhere!

I have used the services of FVH for over 30 years and have never had a negative experience. The office staff are extremely pleasant, friendly and efficient, And Doctor Heidi.... I can,t say enough positive things about her. She helped me through the last year of life with my previous Sheltie that developed kidney problems with care and compassion. Most recently she spent 20 minutes on the floor of the office evaluating my current sheltie, for a knee issue, rather than examine her on a scary, cold metal table. I have moved 45 minutes from Folsom and yet, I will continue to utilize FVH. They are like family.

Great and enthusiastic care is given to our Pug Buddy every visit. Everyone greets Buddy so happily and he loves everyone right back. The Doctors and staff love animals and are quick to show their expertise and caring to the animals and their families at every visit. So wonderful!

We have been taking our dogs to them for almost 19 years. Couldn't think of any place I'd rather use. They have a super staff! everyone is always very helpful. They were so compassionate and caring when we had to say our finale goodbyes to our Labrador Max. It's a really great team.

I have been a customer of Folsom Veteranary Hospital for decades and I would hate the thought of going anywhere else. The entire staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. My animals have always been such an important part of my family that I would not want to entrust them to the care of anyone else.

We’ve been taking our sweet Sheltie here for more than nine years. She doesn’t put up a fuss and willingly walks through the door since she knows that she will get lots of loving attention and good care (plus a good dose of dried chicken treats!).

Great vet. Very very nice concerned staff. I am very happy to find them aftrr moving here from bay area. 3 of my neighbors recommended them. Jack, my dog and I had scuffle with 4ft rattlesnake in backyard 3 days ago. Lucky outcome for us. Jack will get snake vaccine in 2 weeks there to protect him better. Follow up 1. I found out while saving our two dogs from the rattler, I was hit in 3 places. Found out next day in shower when my left hand was numb anddropped the doap, and saw 3 bright red bites and scratches on one arm and leg. Urgent care treated me inspection, disinfection, with shots, and a pain killer. Jack had his 3rd shot 2 weeks ago. He is now ready for the spring round up when it comes. Happy New Year!

I have taken 3 dogs to Folsom Vet Hospital over the last 20 years. The Doctors, techs and office staff are very friendly and professional. They have a deep commitment to their patients and they can handle difficult, very sick and temperamental dogs with ease. Dr. Heidi is compassionate, gentle and reassuring with my dogs. Her diagnosis and knowledge of general pet care is excellent, Emma, Tucker and Indy have always recovered in a short period of time. I need to thank the amazing staff at Folsom Vet publicly, for not only how very friendly, professional and efficient they were, but also for their incredible capacity to show so much empathy, love and support when my family and me needed it most. Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest losses, thank you everyone at Folsom Vet for carrying us through this traumatic process.

Dr. Fischer took an aggressive approach to treat a pretty sick cat. Steps that lead to a very significant improvement in his health and sense of well being. She kept in touch by phone during the early course of treatment to insure we were on the right track. Her willingness to step up to the plate and treat the cat without the need for endless testing and head scratching was refreshing to say the least.

I give a 1 star review because they FALSELY advertise their low cost vaccination clinics as "No appointment Necessary". I walked in today only to be told that my pet would not be able to be vaccinated because I dont have established care there. I would have to do a well exam. The person at the front desk was polite and said they could wave the well-exam fee and schedule me for next Wednesday. I am trying to get vaccinations for a pet that is being re-homed and dont need to establish care with the vet as they will likely never be seen here again. I believe they should make it known publicly that they will not vaccinate your animal until they have had a well exam with one of their vets. What a waste of time! Update: while I appreciate your prompt response. I did not see it clearly stated anywhere that a well appointment was REQUIRED. I sincerely hope you correct this. This was the only thing I saw on your website: "Well exam -A well exam is a general exam with the doctor on a healthy animal. Many times these are necessary to refill a prescription like heartworm preventative to ensure proper doctor/client/patient relationship has been established." Unfortunately, Google wouldnt allow me to post a photo or I would've attached the one I took of the banner out front as well as screen shots from your website.

My dogs have been going to Folsom Veterinary Hospital for about a year and each time I feel so happy that we found this place. Everyone in the office is helpful and kind. At every visit we have had with her, Dr. Heidi has taught me something about my dogs and how to care for them. She gets down on their level, she listens, she is smart, insightful and caring. I leave wishing I could find a doctor who would care for me the way she cares for my dogs. The prices are very reasonable, they can always get us in for appointments when we need them. I am so happy that we have such a great vet in our community.

Saying good bye to a family member is the hardest thing to do they made the experience peaceful and respected how delicate of a situation it was for the entire family to lose our dog of 19 years.
