The reception staff went out of their way to ignore the clients while taking personal calls.

Called today and the lady on the phone sounded incredibly sad, maybe just worn out. I kinda wish I didnt have my information collected for 20 minutes just to find out they are booked out for months in advance. I was trying to get my newly rescued cat established with them and a simple checkup but I guess simple checkups have to compete with full surgeries as far as scheduling?

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Have a good variety of pet food and products. They try to stock quality products and are willing to order what you need if they can. I love that they deliver free of charge. This is where I purchase all my pet supplies.

We love Myrtle Ave Vet! Our vet knows our dogs by name and remembers their last visit. They are wonderful about follow up calls to see how your pup is doing and reminders for vaccines. They are the best!

They’ve done right by my cats. Unfortunately they gave the puppy I had rescued a clean bill of health, although his health was clearly in decline. I took him to a second vet a week later and they confirmed he had parvo that was so far progressed that his lungs were failing and he needed to be euthanized because I couldn’t afford the cost of treatment. This happened 5 years ago but now I refuse to go back.

I am grateful for the caring and informative nurses and vets at Myrtle Ave Vet.

I ended up going over a holiday weekend as my cat developed an infected abscess from being attacked. They took care of my old kitty quickly, compassionately, and affordably. Thank you vets for the help!

Great staff very friendly, they have clinic days often they will tell you straight forward no sugar coating situations! They will never charge you for something that doesn't need to be done!

My 4 year old Labrador has been going here since she was 10 weeks old . We always get great service and Ima loves to go to the Vet. I am very happy with all the services here.

My dog was having a reaction and needed care and medication, however, they sent me home without it because my check would not be good until midnight when my automatic deposit hit. I was disgusted that they would send a dog home in distress. I asked for her records I have never been back and four of my family and friends have discontinued using this facility. I had been using Myrtle Avenue exclusively for 20 years. I have never ever been late or not paid my bill.

I took my lil basset hound in to get spayed. They were extremely friendly and did an amazing job, a couple months later and there is hardly even a scar. They sent her home with clipped nails and the vet called a couple days after to make sure that she was doing well. After a week I took her in because she had a bit of swelling and they looked it over without any hassle. The swelling was not an issue. Overall it was the best experience I could have hoped for, especially for someone who was as worried about sending his pup in for surgery as I was.

Fantastic care for all our kitties, sympathetic and caring when it was time for them to be released. My last senior guy just had his checkup - the staff makes it easy, even with Covid rules being followed.

Sad circumstances, but, when we called for emergency services and told them we were on our way last night, there was no hesitation. They were at the facility when we got there with our dying wolf-boy. Thank you Myrtle Ave Vet for your professionalism and the sensitivity you showed for our Faelan and our grieving kids.
