Humboldt Spay Neuter Clinic Eureka, California

We have had one cat neutered here with much success & one more with an appointment in a couple weeks. Employees are extremely kind & helpful. My experience was uplifting, both over the phone & in-person.????‍⬛ ????????

Very nice and friendly, I had 5 kitten to be spayed and neutered and their mom too.

I had my 2 cats spayed today. Everyone I dealt with was kind and informative. I will recommend them to my friends.

I have mad respect for this place. They are volunteer runned and provide a much needed service. But a few weeks ago I saw they needed fosters for kittens. Keri was very responsive at first until I submitted my application. She even helped with the app. But since then I haven't heard anything back. I checked in twice by email and got no response. I called today and got no response. It's been like a month now. Nobody likes being ghosted. If my application got rejected for whatever reason that's fine. I took the time to respond for the call for help and apply. They could at least let me know if my application went through especially after 2 follow up emails and ample response time.

Caring people that really loves animals and people too nice place to save on any Spade or neuter thank you very much for the service you provide and a cost that's reasonable thanks again

The best people ever. Ryan is so helpful and friendly in particular, he goes far out of his way to make sure everything is understood. The people behind the scenes are awesome too, my cat was groggy for a few hours (of course) but now she's stroliing around like nothing ever happened. It just stands to reason that they'd be super good at it by now. 6 stars if I could.

The staff was very sweet, everything was so simple and they took amazing care of my little sweety.

Receptionist is amazing and they took good care of my fur baby. Charged less then half of what my normal vet would have charged. It was a scary experience but it would've been scary no matter where I went and the time they took to walk me through everything and answer my million questions was priceless. I can not recommend them enough and highly recommend donating what you can to the organization. Its a wonderful cause and many would not be able to afford spaying/neutering without them

The staff is professional. Good with animals. Is very affordable too.

So sweet and kind. We were able to get a reduce fee. Everyone working was very helpful and worked our cats in even though we came a week early. Highly recommend. They love on your pets as you would.

For a volunteer place, I can't bash on them too hard, they do a lot of good. If you are someone that really loves your pet and they are sensitive, like have separation anxiety, I would find a clinic that will allow you to be present, arrange a dose of a pet safe valium, or wait until pandemic operations are lifted. I would not trust to leave your pet with this clinic. They were not concerned with a pet that was panicking and clearly upset, were pushy with adding on procedures, such as chipping and were impatient. Policy was also not explained over the phone that you cannot opt out of spay/neuter procedures to only have vaccines done. Also cancelation less than 48 hours before an appointment will void a return of the deposit and advanced payment, even if your pet becomes ill. I would also recommend to not get a neuter procedure too early for your pet, until about 1 1/2 - 2 years of age, so your pet will get the hormones it needs while still growing, to be healthy, such as stronger bones.

The folks here really care about our community's animals. I have taken my friend's cat there to be spayed as well contacting them about community cats in my neighborhood. This is a great organization and worthy of our support!

The staff was wonderful! Due to being "misled" by a local rescue, the Director of HSNC took care of my dog for a special price and I couldn't be more APPRECIATIVE and GRATEFUL that we still have such WONDERFUL people in this world AND they care what happens to our Furbabies!!

My goal is responsible pet care. when you don’t spay or neuter your pet they create a population of homeless or at risk animals. This program really helps those who may not be able to afford to spay or neuter their pet.

Took great care of my cat. Caring staff. My cat was spayed, she came home ,ate dinner like nothing happened. She had very little pain. I am grateful for them.
