What a fun store. Gives you a real country experience in the city. Has all the pet supplies and livestock supplies you could need. Plus they have Pendleton shirts!

We have horses, dogs and chickens. This is the place we come to for supplies. I like to buy western clothing here too.

Local which is nice, a bit expensive

It's always clean and the cashier that helped me was so fun.. he taught me about the little baby chickens... I thought one was dying and he explained it was rolling over to get warm...hahah Found what I needed and more:)

This place is awesome. A little bit of country in the city. They really care about the community. Saved the day for our school festival. Thank you so much.

They have everything you need for your livestock

Good selection but overly priced. Staff members were not too friendly. They'd never say hello when you walk in the door, no one cares if you need help, I was walking around the store looking for stuff for my animals, not even a single person asked if I needed help. The staffers think customers need them more than they need the customers! Current customer service staff need to be trained or replaced!!!

There were so many cute little chicks in their little enclosures and I wanted all of them! The store was filled with peeping noises and the pigs were very interested in us. Sadly they don’t have kittens anymore.

Only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't let me touch the baby chicks lol

This is such a great family owned iconic Escondido feed store. The owners always take care of the community, and have supported many 4-H and FFA students over the years. This store has everything! Western clothing, horse tack, all supplies for your dogs, cats, birds, chickens, wild birds, horses, cattle and more! They have Breyer horses, bird houses, collectables, .. You get the point, they have everything!!! Today I was there for flea medicine for my dog, wild bird seed and canning jars!! Love this store, love this family.

Maybe everything you could possibly need if you own chickens, dogs, horses or other farm animals. And even more! Friendly staff.

Good people. You can probably find better prices by a dollar or two but this is local and the customer service is the absolute best

We come to aw at the baby chicks and goats. Also, because they have Timothy Hay by the flake for our bunny and guinea pigs. That's the real reason, but we love the critters, too. There is always quite a variety of full grown hens and sometimes they even have pigs. They have a wonderful supply of anything needed for a farm, as well as for most pets.

Unfriendly people. We looked around the store for chicken coops and chickens. No one offered to help us. So we left and went to Tractor Supply

Huge selection, knowledgeable & friendly employees.

I went into Hawthorne for the first time to get feed and was greeted by a worker named Jimmy, he was full of Character and so helpful answering any questions that I had. And had everything ready in a timely Matter. I will definitely be going back here in the future! Everyone here was so nice.

Replace to get feed for your animals

The only place in the county where I could find a halfway decent file for doing some Guitar Building although it is designed for horse hooves it worked perfectly fine for what I needed to shape some guitar necks after I looked everywhere in the county to find one

I bought chicken feed and it was half the price I pay at other places. Store has a great selection, and staff was very helpful
