We took our dog here after being told by another vet we would have to pay $300 to sedate him bc they couldn't hold down my 13 lb dog to clean an ear infection. Even after sedating him , we got him back and the medicine they had given him seemed more on the side of his head than inside his ear. Sure enough, 4 days later and our little guy was still suffering of ear pain. That's when we found this lovely little gem. The staff and doctor were so patient and actually cared about my dog despite him being such a challenge. Not once did they suggest we sedate him. We handled it as a group,and 2 days later he recovered fully. Thank you guys so much! Jaclyn, Ramon & little Sammy

We are blessed to have our own "Dr Jeff" level veterinarian right here in Escondido! He is a truly wonderful doctor who loves and takes care of all his patients as if they were his own! This man also LOVES helping veterans and Military in general! He goes the extra mile w/o raking your pocketbook dry! LOVE YA DR. BILL! THANKS SO MUCH! YOU'RE MY HERO! OOH RAH! SEMPER FI!

Dr. Bill is THE BEST VET ANYWHERE! He is compassionate, and loving toward all Animals. You can tell he is a Vet to help the Animals, not for the money. I hope he lives to be 100 years old, because I don't know where else I would go.

Dr. Haddock is highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He took care of our 3 dogs with so much love and respect. His fee is also very reasonable. Highly recommend.

The Dr. Haddock takes time to answer all your questions, and had a very calming effect on my dog. It always seems like the front desk girls are always mean. But this Doctors front desk is so nice. Made me feel very comfortable

This has been a truest wonderful experience. It really reminds you of a small town doctor. He knew immediately what was going on with my cat and was able to do a life saving procedure. Nothing fancy about the place, but it’s a place I find to be very dear and my cat was very well taken care of. I will definitely see Dr. haddock again for all 4 of my animals. Highly support this hospital .

I immediately felt comfortable bringing my Vizsla to this veterinarian & his assistant for my dog Grace’s teeth cleaning. He assured me that she would do just fine with him. Very wonderful place to take your fur babies

I had my dog with a swallen paw, and I was looking for a good place have him chech him out. Called in and they were able to give an emergency appointment on the same day. I'm happy that I've found this place...

Dr Haddock is an old school vet who doesn't look for a million problems to charge you for. Just him and his wife run the show, which is a nice change from the whiplash I get going from other practices - shuffled here to there, dealing with accountant, then vet tech, then another vet tech, then weigh station, then waiting for the main guy to finally arrive. Here the good doctor deals with you all the way through. I much prefer that.

This place was AMAZING! I’ve had a couple iffy vet experiences at other places but when I found this place I finally felt relieved to have found a primary vet! They knew how to handle my cat without having to drug her and I was allowed in the room to watch what they were doing and they explained what they were doing. Such great people!

So blessed to have Dr. Bill and Escondido Hills Animal Hospital right down the street from our home. They have been taking care of our little dog for more than six years. You can really tell they have a heart for animals and provide the best care.

I am so thankful to them! We just moved here, didn't have a vet, when my doberman split his ear open and was bleeding too much for my comfort. They handled a very stressed out doberman and a very stressed out dog mom, got him wrapped up and sent us on our way within about 30 minutes. Thank you thank you thank you!

Kind, compassionate people. They did so much to help comfort me as my beautiful little girl (old lady) unexpectedly passed and not 2 weeks later have helped me in trying to nurse her brother back to health from an intense respiratory infection with priority on the animal’s well being and financials secondary.

I had a great experience! The vet was kind, quick and very polite. He examined my dogs and asked me if I needed anything else, had any concerns and was overall AMAZING! I would highly recommend this hospital. My dogs were not stressed, kind and gentle vet, great affordable price and genuinely helpful!

The best vet and,doesn't over charge anyone

Dr Haddock is fabulous, I have been going to a much "fancier" vet office for 8+ years and they were not able to get my dog in for a same day appointment, so I had to look around and came across Dr. Haddock. Boy an I happy that my old vet couldn't get me in. Dr Haddock's is so kind, explains everything and doesn't try to gouge your pocket book. He is wonderful and you can tell he truly loves what he does. He is now our new family vet and I will be telling everyone I know about him.

Insanely awesome and affordable! !!

Took my aquatic turtle in because she was not eating right, and acting peculiar. Dr. Lindbeck examined her, and asked plenty of questions about her environment and care. He suggested we change her diet to see if that would help, and then told us no charge because he didn't do anything for her in the way of treatment. I was happily surprised. I liked the office personnel as well as Dr. Lindbeck, and will be back should the need arise.

Dr. Bill and Anne do things the old school way. They keep paper records, work with your animal until they are well taken care of, and are not trying to sell you anything you don't need. I love when we take our pets there for their regular check ups and they address issues and concerns without the need for xrays and lab-work. They use their experience, knowledge, and instinct to provide 100% care, and they give you the honest truth on care you should provide for your pets. Thank you Escondido Hills Animal Hospital! I never leave their office questioning the value of the service or the advice, it is always right on.
