Sheldon Road Groomers Elk Grove, California

They are right next door to a grooming salon that says "best in Elk Grove".. And I think Sheldon Road Groomers is not only THE BEST but also the nicest - both to the pet parents and also to the fur babies in their care! My little guy went in with shaggy dreadlock bangs covering his eyes, and a matted coat. He came out an adorable fluffy ( I was anticipated a shaved doggie) and happy dog. Looking forward to my future appointments there!

Kathy is an absolutely amazing dog groomer. It is apparent that she genuinely has a love and passion for dogs. I feel completely at ease leaving my princess Lady in her hands for grooming services. Kathy is also very professional, courteous, and friendly. She gives you honest quotes and never has tried to upsell me. Prices are fair and very reasonable, and pack a lot of value. New customers get a welcome gift as well (I think it was homemade jam the last time I was there).

I am new to the area and I took my dog to them. Everyone was very happy and excited to be there. Great attitudes! My baby dog was so happy when I went to pick him up. Not like when I used to take him to petsmart. He always seemed traumatized and not himself. They did a terrific job on him. Punctual and friendly and I could tell they all loved animals. The price was reasonable as well. They did a great job. This is my new groomer.

Person answering the phone was pretty rude when I called to simply inquire about grooming services. Stated they aren’t accepting new clients. 1 Star for the prompt rudeness. Good luck with your business!

Cody did my Australian Shepherd Daisy and she looked great after she got shaved and he let her head because it was cute like that and he gave her treats and a bandanna. But sadly she died two years ago.

They do such a great job with our two Bichons, and are really caring with them. We have lots of groomers in our own community, but Janice is definitely worth the trip.

This is a nice family business. It was my first visit here. The owner (sorry, forget her name) and her son gave my pup extra loves. Charlie is a little apprehensive in any grooming setting and she was very patient while trimming his nails. Be prepared to pay check or cash which I have no problem with but I was grateful I had cash on hand because I usually don’t. Their location can sneak up on you so drive slowly so you don’t pass it up. Also, I second the mention in another review that there is another heavily marked groomer just before you get to theirs. I don’t know if they’re any good or not, but if you want to come to this one, which I would recommend, watch the address.

This is such a wonderful place! I have 3 very rambunctious Maltese, their hair grows so fast and they love to roll in the dirt. The staff so so nice and very tender with them, and treats them so kind. I highly recommend this place! Not only that, the prices are very good in comparison to many other groomers.
